Description
一つ以上の板状型電池セルを含む電池モジュールアセンブリであって、
一つ以上の電池セルで構成された各セルユニットが電気的に二つ以上連結されている電池モジュール;
前記各セルユニットを側面に直立させた状態で、最外側に位置する各セルユニットの一面が外部に露出するように、各セルユニットの外周面を覆っている一対の上部ケース及び下部ケース;
前記上部ケースと下部ケースを互いに締結・固定するために、上部ケースの上面及び下部ケースの下面に互いに対面する方向に垂直に形成されている一つ以上の第1の締結口;及び
電池モジュールアセンブリの位置固定及び装着のために、上部ケースの前面及び/または後面及び下部ケースの前面及び/または後面に板厚方向に形成されている二つ以上の第2の締結口;
を含んで構成されている。
(a)電気絶縁性の素材からなっており、電池モジュールの前面に装着され、下記の一対の本体部を含むカバープレート;及び
(b)カバープレート上に装着された状態で平面上に‘L’字状の一側に外部入出力端子が形成されており、他側に二つ以上のバスバーが分枝されている一対の本体部;
を含んでおり、
前記一対の本体部は、電池モジュールの上下方向において互いに向かい合う構造で配列することができる。
前記電池モジュールアセンブリを二つ以上含む電池パックであって、
各電池モジュールアセンブリの相互締結または下記の各支持部材に対する位置固定及び装着のための締結部材が結合される一つ以上の第2の締結口が上部ケースの後面または下部ケースの後面に形成されており、
前記各電池モジュールアセンブリは、互いに密着した状態で配列されて一つの電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体を形成しており、
前記電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体の両側外郭に位置し、前記締結部材と結合されて電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体を固定する第1の支持部材及び第2の支持部材を含むことを特徴とする電池パックを提供する。

Claims (18)
- 一つ以上の板状型電池セルを含む電池モジュールアセンブリであって、
一つ以上の電池セルで構成された各セルユニットが二つ以上電気的に連結されている電池モジュール;
前記各セルユニットを側面に直立させた状態で、最外側に位置する各セルユニットの一面が外部に露出するように、各セルユニットの外周面を覆っている一対の上部ケース及び下部ケース;
前記上部ケースと下部ケースを互いに締結・固定するために、上部ケースの上面及び下部ケースの下面に電池モジュールアセンブリの上下方向に形成されている一つ以上の第1の締結口;及び
電池モジュールアセンブリの位置固定及び装着のために、上部ケースの前面及び/または後面及び下部ケースの前面及び/または後面に板厚方向に形成されている二つ以上の第2の締結口;
を含むことを特徴とする電池モジュールアセンブリ。 - 前記第1の締結口または第2の締結口は、内周面に締結用ねじ山が形成されている構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記第2の締結口は、上部ケースまたは下部ケースの外面から湾入された構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記第2の締結口は、上部ケースの前面及び/または後面及び下部ケースの前面及び/または後面側に開放された円弧状からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記電池モジュールは、二つまたはそれ以上の電池セルで構成された各セルユニットが並列に連結されている構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記セルユニットの各電極端子はバスバーによって互いに電気的に連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記電池モジュールの前面で各セルユニットを電気的に連結するためのバスバーアセンブリをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記バスバーアセンブリは、
(a)電気絶縁性の素材からなっており、電池モジュールの前面に装着され、下記の一対の本体部を含むカバープレート;及び
(b)カバープレート上に装着された状態で平面上に‘L’字状の一側に外部入出力端子が形成されており、他側に二つ以上のバスバーが分枝されている一対の本体部;
を含んでおり、
前記一対の本体部は、電池モジュールの上下方向において互いに向かい合う構造で配列されていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。 - 前記板状型電池セルは、角形二次電池またはパウチ型二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記パウチ型二次電池は、樹脂層及び金属層を含むラミネートシートの電池ケースに陽極/分離膜/陰極構造の電極組立体が内蔵されており、前記電池ケースの一側端部に陽極端子及び陰極端子が突出している構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記電池セルの電極端子部位を除いた外周面に絶縁テープが付着していることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記セルユニットは、各電池セルが互いに密着した状態で金属ハウジングに内蔵されている構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 請求項1による電池モジュールアセンブリを二つ以上含む電池パックであって、
各電池モジュールアセンブリの相互締結または下記の各支持部材に対する位置固定及び装着のための締結部材が結合される一つ以上の第2の締結口が上部ケースの後面または下部ケースの後面に形成されており、
前記各電池モジュールアセンブリは、互いに密着した状態で配列されて一つの電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体を形成しており、
前記電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体の両側外郭に位置し、前記締結部材と結合されて電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体を固定する第1の支持部材及び第2の支持部材を含むことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記電池パックは、電池モジュールアセンブリ積層体の下面に位置し、第1の支持部材及び第2の支持部材と結合される構造の第3の支持部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池パック。
- 前記締結部材は、長さ方向に対する垂直断面上に角形、円形または楕円形の棒状であることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第2の締結口は、締結部材の外面形状に対応する形状に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項13による電池パックを含むことを特徴とするデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、または、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車の電源として使用されることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のデバイス。
