そのようなシステムに関して、記述区画は、ユーザ・サービス記述(USD)送信内のメディア・プレゼンテーション記述(MPD)ファイルを含むことが可能である。
そのようなシステムに関して、複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームおよびMBMSサービスの各々は、MVC(多重ビュー・ビデオ符号化)ビット・ストリーム中の複数のビューのうちの1つに対応するようにしても良い。
Claims (23)
- マルチメディア・ブロードキャスト・マルチキャスト・サービス(MBMS)プロトコルのユーザ・サービス記述(USD)を具備するマルチキャスト送信を受信する無線周波数(RF)受信機であって、前記マルチキャスト送信は、記述区画と対応関係区画を具備する、RF受信機;および、
複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームを具備する一つのマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリーム・バンドルを前記対応関係区画に基づいて識別し、前記記述区画の中において識別された特性に基づいて、処理のために、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の少なくとも一つを選択するように構成されたプロセッサ回路であって、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの各々は、複数のコンテンツ・バージョンの中の一つに対応する、プロセッサ回路;
を具備し、
前記RF受信機は、複数のFLUTEセッションを確立し、前記複数のFLUTEセッションの各々は、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の一つと対応しており、前記対応関係区画は、各々のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリーム及びそれに対応するMBMSサービスに関して、対応するFLUTEセッションを識別する情報を具備している、
ユーザ機器(UE)。 - 前記プロセッサ回路は、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の一つからメディア・コンテンツをレンダリング処理し、再生処理するようにさらに構成される、請求項1記載のUE。
- 前記プロセッサ回路は、前記記述区画の中において識別された特性に基づいて、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の一つを受信し、処理するために、一群のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの間で適応的に切り替えを行うようにさらに構成されている、請求項1記載のUE。
- 前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの各々は、マルチメディア・ブロードキャスト・マルチキャスト・サービス(MBMS)を具備している、請求項1記載のUE。
- 前記一つのマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリーム・バンドルは、一つのMBMSサービス・バンドルを具備している、請求項4記載のUE。
- DASHクライアントを具備している、請求項1記載のUE。
- 対応関係区画を表現するために、前記マルチキャスト送信がユーザ・サービス記述(USD)送信を具備する、請求項1記載のUE。
- 前記記述区画が、前記USD送信内においてMPD(Media Presentation Description)メタデータ・ファイルを具備している、請求項7記載のUE。
- 前記RF受信機は、マルチキャスト・コンテンツ供給元装置から、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の一つを受信するように構成されている、請求項1記載のUE。
- 記述区画と対応関係区画を具備するマルチキャスト送信を受信するように構成されている無線機;および、
複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームを具備する一つのマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリーム・バンドルを前記対応関係区画に基づいて識別し、前記記述区画の中において識別された特性に基づいて、処理のために、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の少なくとも一つを選択するように構成されたプロセッサ回路であって、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの各々は、マルチメディア・ブロードキャスト・マルチキャスト・サービス(MBMS)を介して通信された複数のコンテンツ・バージョンの中の一つに対応する、プロセッサ回路;
を具備し、
前記無線機は、複数のFLUTEセッションを確立するように構成され、前記複数のFLUTEセッションの各々は、前記複数のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの中の一つと対応しており、前記対応関係区画は、各々のマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリーム及びそれに対応するMBMSサービスに関して、対応するFLUTEセッションを識別する情報を具備している、
ユーザ機器(UE)。 - 前記プロセッサ回路は、前記選択されたマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームを具備しているMBMSサービスに対応するFLUTEセッションを決定するように構成されている、請求項10記載のUE。
- 前記決定されたFLUTEセッションに対応するMBMSサービス内における前記選択されたマルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームを受信するように構成された通信コンポーネントをさらに具備する、請求項11記載のUE。
- 前記プロセッサ回路は、前記マルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームと対応するコンテンツ・バージョンのフォーマット又は基底ビット・レートに基づいて、または、前記マルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームの送信に関連したチャネル品質又は実効的なビット・レートに基づいて、前記マルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームを選択するように構成されている、請求項10記載のUE。
- マルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームおよびMBMSサービスの各々は、SVC(スケーラブルなビデオ符号化)ビット・ストリーム中のレイヤに対応する、請求項10記載のUE。
- マルチキャスト・コンテンツ・ストリームおよびMBMSサービスの各々は、MVC(多重ビュー・ビデオ符号化)ビット・ストリーム中のビューに対応する、請求項10記載のUE。
- 記述区画と対応関係区画を具備する無線データ送信を受信するように構成されている無線インターフェース;および、
1又は複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームを前記対応関係区画に基づいて識別し、前記記述区画に基づいて、処理のために、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの中の少なくとも一つを選択するように構成された回路であって、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの各々は、複数のコンテンツ・バージョンの中の一つに対応する、回路;
を具備し、
前記無線インターフェースは、複数のFLUTEセッションを確立するように構成され、前記複数のFLUTEセッションの各々は、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの中の一つと対応しており、前記対応関係区画は、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの各々に関して、前記複数のFLUTEセッションの中の対応する一つを識別する情報を具備している、
ユーザ機器(UE)。 - 前記回路は、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの中の少なくとも一つを、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの中の前記少なくとも一つと対応するコンテンツ・バージョンのフォーマット又は基底ビット・レートに基づいて、または、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの中の前記少なくとも一つの送信に関連したチャネル品質又は実効的なビット・レートに基づいて、選択するように構成されている、請求項16記載のUE。
- 前記回路は、受信し、処理するために、前記記述区画の中において識別された特性に基づいて、前記複数のMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームの間で適応的に切り替えを行うようにさらに構成されている、請求項16記載のUE。
- 前記無線インターフェースは、前記確立されたFLUTEセッションに対応する1又は複数のMBMSサービス内における前記選択された少なくとも一つのMBMSコンテンツ・ストリームを受信するように構成されている、請求項16記載のUE。
- 一つのMBMSサービス・バンドル内には複数個の前記MBMSコンテンツ・ストリームが含まれている、請求項16記載のUE。
- 前記記述区画が、USD送信内においてMPD(Media Presentation Description)メタデータ・ファイルを具備している、請求項16記載のUE。
- DASHクライアントを具備している、請求項16記載のUE。
