Description
Claims (8)
- 医療装置に用いられる針先端ガード(10)、静脈カテーテルアセンブリに用いられる針先端ガード(10)であって、
針シャフト(38)を有する針(34)を収容する軸方向(A)に沿って延在している孔(14)を有し、前記針(34)が前記孔(14)を通って延在し得て、且つ針先端(36)が前記針先端ガード(10)の外にある展開分離位置から前記針先端(36)が前記針先端ガード(10)によってカバーされている保護位置まで前記針先端ガード(10)に対して動き得る、ベース部(12)と、
前記ベース部(12)の遠方側部から概して軸方向(A)に延在している第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)であって、前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)の各々がその自由端の領域にヘッド部(20、22)を有し、前記第1のジョー(16)が前記展開分離位置で前記針シャフトの上に位置する、第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)と、
前記針先端ガード(10)を前記医療装置に固定するための前記針先端ガード(10)の外側表面の上の一つ又はそれ以上のロック手段であって、凹部又は溝(32)を形成する一つ又はそれ以上のロックショルダー(30)を備えるロック手段と、
前記ベース部(12)と前記ヘッド部(20、22)との間の領域で前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)に一体形成された少なくとも一つの弾力性部材又は弾性要素(26)であって、前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)とともにチャンバ(46)を規定するような部分的な側壁を形成し、弾性的な特性を有する材料から形成されており、前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)が前記針シャフト(38)によって完全に又は部分的に展開分離されるときに前記弾力性部材又は弾性要素(26)が前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)に内向きの復元力を与える、少なくとも一つの弾力性部材又は弾性要素(26)と、
を備える、針先端ガード(10)。 - 孔(14)が針(34)の主要な外側プロファイルの形状及びサイズに適合された寸法を有し、針(34)が孔(14)を通って延在し得て、且つ針先端(36)が針ガード(10)によってカバーされている保護位置まで針先端ガード(10)に対して動き得る、請求項1に記載の針先端ガード(10)。
- 第1のヘッド部(20)がその自由端に第2のヘッド部(22)を越えて延在する遠方端区間(24)を有し、その遠方端区間(24)が前記軸方向(A)に対して概して垂直に第2のジョー(18)に向かって延在する、請求項1に記載の針先端ガード(10)。
- 遠方端区間(24)の長さが、端区間(24)が第2のヘッド部(22)の少なくとも一部を越えて突出するようなものである、請求項3に記載の針先端ガード(10)。
- 弾力性部材又は弾性要素(26)が、第1のジョー及び第2のジョー(16、18)の各々に設けられた搭載突起又は搭載凹部を備える搭載形状に搭載される、請求項1に記載の針先端ガード(10)。
- 前記弾力性部材又は弾性要素(26)が、前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)を部分的に又は完全に囲むリング状の一体化された形態/構造、及び/又は前記第1のジョー(16)及び第2のジョー(18)を部分的のみに囲むクランプ、ブラケットをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の針先端ガード(10)。
- カテーテルチューブ(48)と、
チャンバを規定するカテーテルハブ/ハウジング(42)と、
その遠方端の針先端(36)、針シャフト(38)、および針ハブを有する針(34)と、
前記針先端(36)を保護するために前記針(34)にスライド可能に設けられた請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに従った針先端ガード(10)であって、前記第1のジョー(16)の遠方端区間(24)が展開分離位置で前記針シャフト(38)の上に位置するように前記カテーテルハウジングに部分的に及び/又は完全に収容されている、針先端ガード(10)と、
を備える、静脈カテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記カテーテルハウジング(42)の内側及び/又は外側表面が、一つ又はそれ以上の突起(44)及び/又は凹部の形態の一つ又はそれ以上のロック及び/又は開放手段を備える、請求項7に記載の静脈カテーテルアセンブリ。
