Description
制御プログラムに従って自動制御するものである。
ローブ32の下部の移動した軌跡は所定の接合線Lに一致することになり、対応して、第1部材W1と第2部材W2においては、所定の接合線Lに沿って摩擦攪拌接合された接合部位を得られることになる。
接合装置を提供することができるものであるため、その汎用普遍的な性格から広範に自動車等の移動体の強度部材の接合分野に適用され得るものと期待される。

Claims (5)
- 加工対象部材の加工対象側面に対して上下移動自在であり、前記加工対象部材に対して相対回転自在であるプローブ、及び前記プローブの外周面の一部を覆って前記プローブに対して相対回転自在な介装部材を有する接合ツールと、
前記加工対象部材を載置する載置部材と、
前記接合ツールが装着されたアームを有して、前記アームを移動して前記接合ツールを前記加工対象部材に対して移動自在な移動機構と、
前記アームを移動して前記接合ツールを前記加工対象部材に対して移動する際に前記介装部材が当接することにより、前記接合ツールの移動方向を所定の加工方向に一致させるように補正自在な補正部材を有して、前記載置部材に固定された補正機構と、
を備え、
前記補正部材は、前記所定の加工方向に平行な当接面を有すると共に、前記加工対象側面に対する前記プローブの回転方向に対応して、前記加工対象側面上で前記所定の加工方向に対して所定の側に配置されるブロック部材であり、
前記アームを移動して前記接合ツールを前記加工対象部材に対して移動する際に、前記補正部材が前記加工対象側面に当接した状態で、前記介装部材が前記当接面に当接する摩擦撹拌接合装置。 - 前記介装部材は、ベアリングであり、前記アームを移動して前記接合ツールを前記加工対象部材に対して移動する際に、前記補正部材が前記加工対象側面に当接した状態で、前記ベアリングが前記当接面に当接することにより前記接合ツールの移動方向が補正される請求項1に記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
- 前記補正部材は、前記加工対象部材に対して進退自在である請求項1又は2に記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
- 前記移動機構は、産業用ロボットである請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
- 更に、前記載置部材を支持部材で支持して、前記加工対象部材の上下方向の位置のみを補助的に支持する補助支持機構を備え、前記補助支持機構は前記アームに装着される請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
