Description
埋込型医療器具を上述のいずれかに記載の方法により処理するステップと、
処理された器具を液体と接触させるステップであって、それにより、エレクトロウェッティングが開始するステップと
を含む、埋込型医療器具の湿潤性を改善する方法が提供される。
Claims (24)
- 表面誘電体絶縁層を備える埋込型医療器具の表面処理方法であって、
MgCl2・6H2O溶液を用い、イオンを前記誘電体絶縁層上に存在させるようにするステップと、
前記埋込型医療器具を乾燥させるステップとを有し、
導電性流体が前記埋込型医療器具の前記表面に触れることで、前記イオンが静電荷を形成して前記表面の少なくとも一部に付随する電場を局所的に作り出すようにしてなり、前記誘電体絶縁層が、前記埋込型医療器具の表面であって、前記埋込型医療器具の金属部分と前記導電性流体との間に介在する部分に設けられる、方法。 - 前記電場が、特異的な生体分子を前記誘電体絶縁層に引き寄せるために使用され、該生体分子が、ペプチド、ポリペプチド、タンパク質、オリゴヌクレオチド、核酸、RNA、アンチセンス核酸、低分子干渉RNA、リボザイム、遺伝子、炭水化物、血管新生因子、細胞周期阻害剤及び抗再狭窄剤を含む群から選択される請求項1に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記導電性流体が電解液である請求項1又は2に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記イオンを存在させるステップが、前記誘電体絶縁層の全体ではなく一部分上で存在させる請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記イオンを存在させるステップが、前記誘電体絶縁層の全体ではなく一部分上で存在させるステップであり、前記存在させたイオンが、前記埋込型医療器具の表面の少なくとも一部の湿潤性を改善するものである請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理プロセス。
- 前記イオンが存在する前記誘電体絶縁層上に電極パターン及び/又は電極形状的特徴を形成するステップをさらに含む請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記静電荷が、電気分解を起こす程のものではない請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記誘電体絶縁層が、金属酸化物層を含む請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記誘電体絶縁層が、1nm〜100μmの範囲の厚みを有する請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記誘電体絶縁層が、疎水性コーティングを含む請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記埋込型医療器具に前記イオンの水溶液を噴霧するか、浸漬するか、又は部分的に浸すことによって、前記水溶液を前記誘電体絶縁層に適用する請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記水溶液が揮発性有機化合物を含有する請求項11に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記水溶液が、生理的に等張の塩溶液である請求項11又は12に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記イオンをプラズマ蒸着によって前記誘電体絶縁層に存在させる請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記イオンが、体液中に含まれるイオンを含む請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記イオンが、Na+カチオン、K+カチオン又はMg2+カチオンを含む請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記イオンが、Cl−アニオン又はPO4 −アニオンを含む請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記存在させたイオンが、1nm〜100μmの範囲の厚みを有する請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記埋込型医療器具を乾燥させる前記ステップが、高い温度を加えること、乾燥剤を供給すること、又は前記埋込型医療器具を空気流又は他のガス流中に置くことを含む請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 外部電源を用いて前記静電荷を印加する、請求項2に、又は請求項2に従属する請求項3〜19のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記静電荷が、10mV〜400Vの範囲の電圧である請求項20に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記静電荷が直流電流から発生する請求項20又は21に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記静電荷が、0kHz〜20kHzの範囲の周波数を有する請求項20又は21に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記静電荷が、正弦波形、矩形波形、三角波形又はランプ波形を有する請求項20〜22のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
