Claims (5)
- 触媒担体の表面に触媒活性物質と共に担持され、内燃機関から排出される排ガスを浄化するための排ガス浄化用触媒材であって、
Crを0.01〜0.5mol%含有するセリアジルコニア酸化物粒子を含むことを特徴とする排ガス浄化用触媒材。 - 前記セリアジルコニア酸化物粒子は、30m2/g以上の粒子比表面積を有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1の排ガス浄化用触媒材。
- 前記セリアジルコニア酸化物粒子と、Zr酸化物およびCrからなる複合物とが複合していることを特徴とする請求項1または2の排ガス浄化用触媒材。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1の排ガス浄化用触媒材の製造方法であって、
ジルコニアゾルに硝酸クロム9水和物を混合させる第1混合工程と、
前記第1混合工程によって混合された前記ジルコニアゾルおよび前記硝酸クロム9水和物の混合液を乾燥・焼成させる第1乾燥・焼成工程と、
前記第1乾燥・焼成工程によって乾燥・焼成されたものにセリアジルコニア酸化物粒子を混合させる第2混合工程と
を含む排ガス浄化用触媒材の製造方法。 - 請求項1または2の排ガス浄化用触媒材の製造方法であって、
ジルコニアゾルに硝酸セリウムおよび硝酸クロム9水和物を混合させる第3混合工程と、
前記第3混合工程によって混合された前記ジルコニアゾル、前記硝酸セリウム、前記硝酸クロム9水和物の混合液にアンモニア水を添加して混合させる第4混合工程と、
前記第4混合工程によって混合された前記ジルコニアゾル、前記硝酸セリウム、前記硝酸クロム9水和物の混合液を濾過してその混合液中の固体分を分離させる分離工程と、
前記分離工程によって分離された固体分を乾燥・焼成させる第2乾燥・焼成工程と
を含む排ガス浄化用触媒材の製造方法。
