Claims (5)
- 融点が異なる異種金属材料における高融点材料と低融点材料とを、高融点材料を上側に低融点材料を下側にそれぞれ重ね合せて接合予定位置に位置づけ、
前記上側の高融点材料の上面から鋼製で丸棒形状に形成された回転ツールを回転させながら軸方向に押し当てて前記高融点材料内に挿入し、
且つ、この回転ツールの先端の挿入位置を、前記高融点材料が突き破られないように、前記回転ツールの先端が前記高融点材料と前記低融点材料との合せ面から前記高融点材料側に0.05mm〜0.6mmの距離の位置にあるように調整して、
前記高融点材料を前記高融点材料と前記回転ツールとの摩擦熱により、また前記低融点材料を前記高融点材料と前記回転ツールとの前記摩擦熱の伝熱により、それぞれ前記回転ツール近傍で部分的に軟化させて塑性流動化し、これらの塑性流動化された高融点材料と低融点材料の前記回転ツール近傍部分を、前記回転ツールの回転により部分的に撹拌して前記高融点材料と前記低融点材料とを摩擦撹拌接合させることを特徴とする異種金属材料の接合方法。 - 前記回転ツールは、鋼製で丸棒形状に形成されており、直径が3mm〜10mmに設定されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 前記回転ツールの回転数は、75rpm〜750rpmに設定されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 前記高融点材料が鉄材または鋼材であり、低融点材料がアルミニウム材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の異種金属材料の接合方法により高融点材料と低融点材料とが接合されて得られた異種金属材料接合体。
