Description
Claims (9)
- 少なくとも10モル%のCO2含有量、および少なくとも6.9MPa(1000psig)の圧力を有するガスからCO2を吸収することによりCO2吸収装置において形成されたCO2リッチな物理的溶剤から、CO2を欠いた物理的溶剤を再生する方法であって、フラッシュ再生されたリーンな溶剤からの熱に加え、フィードガスから回収された熱および圧縮機放熱から選択される少なくとも1つの熱を用いてCO2リッチな溶剤を37.8℃から149℃(100F°から300F°)の温度に加熱する工程を含み、加熱されたCO2リッチな溶剤が、CO2を欠いた物理的溶剤及び0.34MPaから3.45MPa(50psigから500psig)の圧力を有する高圧CO2リッチストリームを形成するためにフラッシュされる、方法。
- 2.1から3.4MPa(300から500psig)の圧力にて、CO2リッチな溶剤中のCO2の20%から40%が、加熱されたCO2リッチな溶剤からフラッシュされ、その後、0.34から2.1MPa(50から300psig)の圧力にて、CO2リッチな溶剤中のCO2の20%から40%が、加熱されたCO2リッチな溶剤からフラッシュされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 大気圧または大気圧付近にて、CO2リッチな溶剤中のCO2の5%から20%が、加熱されたCO2リッチな溶剤からフラッシュされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 2.1から3.4MPa(300から500psig)の圧力にて、CO2リッチな溶剤中のCO2の20%から40%が、加熱されたCO2リッチな溶剤からフラッシュされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- CO2の少なくとも80%が、廃熱を用いてCO2リッチな溶剤を37.8℃から149℃(100°Fから300°F)の温度に加熱することによってCO2リッチな溶剤から除去され、加熱されたCO2リッチな溶剤はフラッシュされて、0.34MPaから3.45MPa(50psigから500psig)の圧力にて少なくとも2つの別個のCO2ストリームを製造する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- フラッシュ再生されたリーンな溶剤が少なくとも15.6℃(60°F)の温度を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- フラッシュ再生されたリーンな溶剤が、少なくとも2つの膨張デバイスを通してCO2リッチな溶剤をフラッシュすることによって製造される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- フラッシュ再生されたリーンな溶剤が、CO2リッチな溶剤を大気圧未満の圧力にフラッシュすることによって製造される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 圧縮機放熱が、冷蔵圧縮機放熱またはCO2圧縮機放熱である、請求項1に記載の方法。
