Claims (15)
- 乾燥剤、第1の熱交換器、第2の熱交換器およびエンジンを含むシステムを利用して、流体の含水量を管理する方法において、当該方法は、
第1の流体の少なくとも一部を前記乾燥剤に接触させて、少なくとも一部の前記乾燥剤の含水量を増加させることを含むプロセスを用いて、前記第1の流体から水分を除去するステップと、
含水量が増加した乾燥剤の少なくとも一部を第2の流体に導入し、前記乾燥剤から前記第2の流体へ水分が蒸発し、前記第2の流体の含水量を増加させるステップと、
熱を生成するために前記エンジンを作動させるステップと、
冷却剤により前記エンジンを冷却するステップと、
前記冷却剤を前記第1の熱交換器に通すステップと、
前記エンジンから排気ガスを排気ガス熱用交換器に通すステップと、
第2の熱交換器用流体を前記排気ガス熱交換器に通して、前記エンジンの排気ガスからの熱を第2の熱交換器用流体に伝導するステップと、
前記第2の熱交換器用流体を前記第2の熱交換器に通すステップと、
前記乾燥剤が前記第2の流体に導入される前に、前記乾燥剤を前記第1の熱交換器に、次いで前記第2の熱交換器に連続的に通し、これにより、前記冷却材および前記エンジンの排気からの熱を前記第2の流体に伝導するステップとを含み、
前記システムがさらにコンプレッサと蒸発装置とを具え、前記エンジンを作動させるステップが、前記コンプレッサを作動させる動力を提供し、前記方法がさらに、
第3の流体を圧縮する前記コンプレッサを作動させるステップと、
前記第3の流体が少なくとも部分的に蒸発するように、前記第3の流体を前記蒸発装置内に通すステップと、
前記乾燥剤を前記蒸発装置内に通し、前記乾燥剤から前記第3の流体に熱を伝導させて、前記乾燥剤の温度を低下させるステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法がさらに、前記第2の流体の含水量が増加した後に、前記第2の流体から水分を除去するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記エンジンを作動させるステップは、前記エンジンにより前記コンプレッサを機械的に駆動するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記コンプレッサが発電機に接続されており、前記エンジンを作動させるステップは、前記エンジンにより発電機を駆動するステップを含み、これにより前記コンプレッサを作動させる電力を生成することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記システムは動作可能に車両に連結され、前記エンジンを作動させるステップが、前記車両を駆動する動力を供給することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項5に記載の方法がさらに、前記第2の流体の含水量が増加した後に、前記第2の流体から水分を除去するステップを含み、これにより、移動式の水の生成を提供することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法がさらに、前記乾燥剤を前記第2の流体に導入する前に、前記第2の流体から水分を除去して、これにより、第2の流体が、前記乾燥剤から蒸発した水分を吸収し得る容量を増大させるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法において、前記乾燥剤を導入する前に前記第2の流体から水分を除去するステップは、前記第2の流体を冷却して、凝結により水分を除去することを特徴とする方法。
- 流体の含水量を管理するシステムであって、
第1チャンバへのまたは第1チャンバからの第1の流体の移動を促進する入口および出口を有する第1チャンバと、
前記第1チャンバ内を移動する前記第1の流体から水分を除去すべく、前記第1チャンバに導入されうる乾燥剤と、
前記乾燥剤が前記第1の流体から水分を取り除いた後に、前記乾燥剤の少なくとも一部を収容するように構成された第2チャンバであって、前記第2チャンバ内の前記乾燥剤の水分の前記第2チャンバへの蒸発を促進すべく、前記第2チャンバへのおよび前記第2チャンバからの第2の流体の移動を促進する入口および出口を具える第2チャンバと、
力学的な力を出力するように動作可能なエンジンと、
前記エンジンから熱を取り除くエンジン用冷却剤と、
前記エンジン用冷却剤を受け入れるように構成された第1の熱交換器と、
排気ガス用熱交換器内を流れる第2の熱交換器用流体を有する排気ガス用熱交換器であって、前記エンジンからの排気ガスの流れを受け、前記排気ガスから前記第2の熱交換器用流体へ熱を伝導するように構成された排気ガス用熱交換器と、
前記排気ガス用熱交換器からの前記第2の熱交換器用流体を受け入れるように構成された第2の熱交換器とを具え、
前記第1の熱交換器がさらに、前記乾燥剤が前記第2チャンバに入る前に、前記乾燥剤を受け入れるように構成され、前記第2の熱交換器がさらに、前記第1の熱交換器からの前記乾燥剤を受け入れるように構成され、これにより、前記乾燥剤が前記第2チャンバに入る前に、前記エンジン用冷却剤および前記エンジンの排気から前記乾燥剤への熱の伝導を生じさせ、
当該システムがさらに、
蒸発装置内を流れる第3の流体を有する蒸発装置であって、前記乾燥剤が前記第1チャンバに導入される前に前記乾燥剤を収容し、前記乾燥剤から前記第3の流体に熱を伝導するように構成された蒸発装置と、
前記エンジンによって動力を供給されるコンプレッサであって、前記第3の流体が前記蒸発装置内を流れた後に、前記第3の流体を圧縮するように動作可能なコンプレッサとを具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムがさらに、前記第2チャンバからの前記第2の流体を収容し、前記第2の流体から水分を抽出すべく前記第2の流体の冷却を促進するように構成されたシステム熱交換器を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項9に記載のシステムがさらに、前記第2の流体が前記第2チャンバ内を移動する前に、前記第2の流体を冷却するように構成された第3の熱交換器を具え、これにより、前記第2の流体から水分が取り除かれることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、前記エンジンは、前記コンプレッサを機械的に駆動するように動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項9に記載のシステムがさらに、前記エンジンおよび前記コンプレッサに接続された発電機を具え、当該発電機が、前記エンジンにより機械的に駆動され、前記コンプレッサを動力を供給すべく電気を出力するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、前記第1および第2チャンバと、前記エンジンと、前記第1の熱交換器とが車両内に配置されていると共に、前記エンジンは、前記車両を駆動するように動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項14に記載のシステムがさらに、前記第2チャンバからの前記第2の流体を収容し、前記第2の流体から水分を抽出すべく前記第2の流体の冷却を促進するように構成されたシステム熱交換器を具え、これにより、移動式の水生成システムを提供することを特徴とするシステム。
