Description
図1(a)は、第1の実施形態に係る車両用前照灯10の正面図であり、図1(b)は、図1(a)のP−P断面図である。車両用前照灯10は、ハウジング12、アウターカバー14、および灯具ユニット16を有する。以下、図1(b)において矢印Xが向く方向を灯具前方として説明する。また、灯具前方にみて右側を灯具右側、左側を灯具左側という。なお、車両用前照灯10は、車両左前部および右前部にそれぞれに1つずつ設けられる。図1(a)および図1(b)は、左右いずれかの車両用前照灯10の構成を示している。
図8は、第2の実施形態に係る車両用前照灯80の、図1(a)におけるP−P断面図である。車両用前照灯80は、特に言及しない限り第1の実施形態に係る車両用前照灯10と同様に構成される。以下、第1の実施形態と同様の個所は同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
Claims (5)
- 矩形の発光面を有する複数の発光素子が並んで配置されることによって構成される細長い矩形の発光面を有する光源であって、縁を持つ発光面を有する光源が発した光を反射して、互いに角度を持つ第1カットオフラインおよび第2カットオフラインを有する配光パターンを形成するリフレクタと、
前記リフレクタにより反射された光が前方に進むための開口部が開けられたエクステンション部材と、
前記リフレクタにより反射される光のうち、前記エクステンション部材へ向かう光を遮光するシェードと、を備え、
前記リフレクタは、第1カットオフラインおよび第2カットオフラインを前記発光面の同じ所定の縁の反射像で形成することを特徴とする灯具。 - 前記リフレクタは、前記所定の縁の反射像で第1カットオフラインを形成する第1セグメントと、前記所定の縁の反射像で第2カットオフラインを形成する第2セグメントを有し、
第1セグメントと第2セグメントとは、隣り合って配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の灯具。 - 前記リフレクタは、前記配光パターンとして車両前方に形成すべきロービーム用配光パターンを形成するよう設けられ、前記光源が発した光を反射して第1カットオフラインおよび第2カットオフラインを含むホットゾーン用配光パターンを形成するホットゾーン形成部と、前記ホットゾーン用配光パターンよりも水平方向に長い拡散配光パターンを形成する拡散領域形成部と、を有し、
前記ホットゾーン形成部は、前記光源までの平均距離が前記拡散領域形成部よりも短くなるよう配置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の灯具。 - 前記リフレクタは、前記配光パターンとして車両前方に形成すべきロービーム用配光パターンを形成するよう設けられ、前記光源が発した光を反射して第1カットオフラインおよび第2カットオフラインを含むホットゾーン用配光パターンを形成するホットゾーン形成部と、前記ホットゾーン用配光パターンよりも水平方向に長い拡散配光パターンを形成する一対の拡散領域形成部と、を有し、
ホットゾーン形成部は、一対の拡散領域形成部の間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の灯具。 - 前記光源が発した光のうち前記リフレクタの外部に向かう光を、前記リフレクタによる反射光の進行方向より上方に反射する付加反射部材をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の灯具。
