Description
バガスを、水の含量が15重量%となるように加工した後、大きさ6.0mmのスクリーンが装着されたコンベヤベルトに載置し、靭皮の分離を行う。これにより、大きさ6.0mm超過の繊維質のみが濾され、残りの細繊維と靭皮は分離される。このとき、繊維質は、バガスの2/3程度である。このように得られた繊維質を、3cmにカットした後、残留した糖分と塵埃を除去するための洗浄を行う。洗浄済みの繊維質は、1:1の比率で、水と共に5分間、2kgf/cm2の圧力で、碾いて切り刻むことで、軟質化した繊維質が得られる。なお、装備としては、金属製のものではなく、木製の臼を用いている。
押し出し前にUV安定剤1g、UV吸収剤2g、着色剤4g、発泡剤2gを添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にして複合材を製造した。
押し出し前にミネラル充填剤2g、耐炎剤3g、結合剤3gを添加した以外は、実施例1と同様にして複合材を製造した。
粒子サイズが160メッシュの繊維質を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして複合材を製造した。
長さに対する直径の比が6:1の繊維質を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして複合材を製造した。
繊維質に代えて木材70gを使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして複合材を製造した。
引張強度(MPa):KS M 3006(プラスチック引張試験方法)による引張強度測定(基準値:12MPa以上)
曲げ強度(MPa):KS M ISO 178(プラスチック曲げ試験方法)による曲げ強度測定(基準値:61〜82MPa以上)
曲げ弾性率(MPa):KS M ISO 178(プラスチック曲げ試験方法)による曲げ弾性率測定(基準値:2100MPa以上)
吸収率(%):KS M 3015(プラスチック一般試験方法)による水分の吸収率測定(基準値:3%以下)
衝撃強度(kgcm/cm2):KS M 3055(プラスチック−アイゾット衝撃強度試験方法)による衝撃強度測定(基準値:12kgcm/cm2以上)
湿潤時の寸法変化率(%):KS M 3126(化粧木材床板の寸法変化率試験方法)による湿潤時の寸法変化率測定(基準値:長さ方向に0.3%以下、厚さ方向に2%以下)
Claims (11)
- 粒子サイズが40〜120メッシュであり且つ長さに対する直径の比が3:1〜5:1であるバガス繊維質55〜75重量%及び熱可塑性ポリマー25〜45重量%を含み、前記バガス繊維質内に前記熱可塑性ポリマーが含浸され、この含浸されたバガス繊維質ポリマー混合物100重量部に対して結合剤が2〜4重量部の範囲で含まれ、前記バガス繊維質が、靱皮の除去によりバガスから分離された繊維質である複合材。
- 前記バガス繊維質が65〜75重量%であり、前記熱可塑性ポリマーが25〜35重量%である請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記バガス繊維質の粒子サイズは、80〜100メッシュである請求項1または2に記載の複合材。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーは、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリスチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート及びポリ塩化ビニルからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- 抗酸化剤、UV安定剤、UV吸収剤、潤滑剤、ミネラル充填剤、着色剤、耐炎剤、熱安定剤及び発泡剤からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種と、前記結合剤とが、前記バガス繊維質ポリマー混合物100重量部に対して、8〜10重量部でさらに含まれる請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の複合材。
- サトウキビの製糖工程から副産物として得られるバガスを乾燥させて水の含量が5重量%未満のバガスに加工するステップ、加工されたバガスをスクリーン付コンベヤベルト上に載置し、靭皮を除去して繊維質のみを収集するステップ、収集された繊維質に水を入れた後、碾くことで軟質化させるステップ、及び軟質化した繊維質を精練機で粉砕するステップを含む繊維質の製造手順と、
製造された長さに対する直径の比が3:1〜5:1である繊維質55〜75重量%と熱可塑性ポリマー25〜45重量%とを高温で溶融混合する手順と、
この混合された繊維質ポリマー混合物を押し出す手順と、
を含む複合材の製造方法。 - 前記繊維質を収集するステップにおいて使用されるスクリーンは、4.0〜6.0mmの大きさを有するものである請求項6に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 前記繊維質を粉砕するステップは、精練機において逆方向に行われる請求項6または7に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 前記繊維質と熱可塑性ポリマーとを溶融混合する手順は、150〜200℃の温度で行われる請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 前記繊維質ポリマー混合物を押し出す手順において、押し出しは、20〜25kgf/cm2の圧力、130〜140℃の温度で15〜20分間行われる請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の複合材を含むインテリア材。
