Description
a)少なくとも一つの親水性の中間ブロック;および
b)疎水性の末端ブロック;
ここで、前記マルチブロックコポリマーが水不溶性であり、ここで、少なくとも一つのブロックがプロファイルドブロックであり、ここで、前記親水性ブロックが部分的または全面的に中和されており、そしてここで、前記コポリマーが、飽和溶液に暴露させた最初の30分間のあいだに、その最大吸収容量の5重量パーセントを超える吸収をする。
ポリメタクリル酸メチルおよびポリアクリル酸ブチルを含むAブロック(PMMA/BA)と、ポリアクリル酸およびポリアクリル酸ブチルを含むBブロック(PAA/BA)とを含むABAトリブロックコポリマーを調製して、PMMA/BA−b−PAA/BA−PMMA/BAトリブロックコポリマーを得た。親水性の中央ブロックには、ほぼ20重量%のAAを含んでいる。上述のポリマーのフィルムを作るのに、酢酸エチルの中にそのポリマーをまず溶解させ、次いで塩基および/または可塑剤/希釈剤を添加した。その溶液をキャストして、薄いフィルム(厚み約5mm)とし、真空下で乾燥させて残存している溶媒およびモノマーを全部除去した。次いでそのポリマーフィルムを水の中に入れて、時間を変えて再秤量して、吸収量を測定した。事前中和および可塑化の結果を以下の表1に示す。
Claims (11)
- 中和されていない両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーよりも高い水吸着速度を有する部分的に中和された両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーの組成物を形成させるための方法であって、
a)少なくとも一つの親水性中間ブロックと、前記親水性中間ブロックのそれぞれの末端に少なくとも一つの疎水性ブロックと、を含む両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーを形成させる工程;
b)塩基を添加することによって、前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーを部分的に中和させる工程、ここで、前記親水性中間ブロックは中和可能なモノマーからなり、その10%超から80%未満が中和される;及び
c)前記塩基をすべて添加するより前に、前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーに対して5重量%超から50重量%未満の量で前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーに希釈剤を混合する工程;
を含む、方法。 - 前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーが、水に暴露させた最初の30分間のあいだに、その最大吸収容量の20重量パーセントを超える吸収をする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記疎水性ブロックが、30〜200℃の範囲のTgを有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記希釈剤が親水性である、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記希釈剤が、前記一つまたは複数の親水性中間ブロック、前記複数の疎水性ブロック、またはそれらの組合せのための可塑剤である、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記中和された親水性中間ブロックが、アンモニウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、リチウム、クロリド、またはホスホニウムの塩を含む、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーが、制御されたラジカル重合プロセスによって形成される、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記制御されたラジカル重合プロセスが、ニトロキシド媒介重合プロセスである、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーがヒドロゲルである、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の方法によって形成された両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーの組成物を加工する工程を含むポリマー物品の製造方法。
- 前記加工工程の途中または後に、前記両親媒性マルチブロックコポリマーから前記希釈剤を除去する工程をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
