Description
以下、図面を参照して本発明によるX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置の第1実施形態を説明する。なお、X線コンピュータ断層撮影装置には、X線管とX線検出器とが一体として被検体の周囲を回転する回転/回転(ROTATE/ROTATE)タイプと、リング状又は平面状に多数の検出素子がアレイされ、X線管のみが被検体の周囲を回転する固定/回転(STATIONARY/ROTATE)タイプ等様々なタイプがあり、いずれのタイプでも本発明を適用可能である。ここでは、現在、主流を占めている回転/回転タイプとして説明する。また、1スライスの断層像データを再構成するには、被検体の周囲1周、約360°分の投影データ(フル再構成法)が、またハーフ再構成法でも180°+α(α;ファン角)分の投影データが必要とされる。本実施形態では、動きの速い心臓等の撮影に有効なハーフ再構成法を採用する。

セグメントBの投影データに対する重みWBは、次の通りである。
=HRA/(HRA+HRB)
例えば、セグメントAを収集したときの心拍数が90bpsで、セグメントBを収集したときの心拍数が75bpsのとき、セグメントAの投影データに対する重みWAは、0.45、セグメントBの投影データに対する重みWBは、0.55に設定される。
以下、図面を参照して本発明によるX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置(X線CT又はCTスキャナともいう)の第2実施形態を説明する。なお、X線コンピュータ断層撮影装置には、X線管と放射線検出器とが1体として被検体の周囲を回転する回転/回転(ROTATE/ROTATE)タイプと、リング状に多数の検出素子がアレイされ、X線管のみが被検体の周囲を回転する固定/回転(STATIONARY/ROTATE)タイプ等様々なタイプがあり、いずれのタイプでも本発明を適用可能である。ここでは、現在、主流を占めている回転/回転タイプとして説明する。
Claims (6)
- X線を発生するX線源、前記X線源に印加するための高電圧を発生する高電圧発生部と、
投影データを発生するために被検体を透過したX線を検出するX線検出器を有し、前記被検体の心電図同期信号又は心電図波形信号に同期してスキャンを行う心電同期スキャン手段と、
断層像を再構成するための特定位相を含む第1の期間に比較的高線量のX線を発生し、前記被検体の心拍周期のうちの前記第1の期間以外の第2の期間に比較的低線量のX線を発生するX線強度変調制御と、前記比較的高X線量のX線を定常的に維持するX線定常制御とを、前記スキャンと並行して得られた被検体の心拍数又は前記心電図波形信号のあるR波から次のR波までのR−R間隔に応じて切り替える制御部と、
を備えたことを特徴とするX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置。 - 前記比較的低線量のX線は、X線量がゼロであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記スキャンと並行して得られた被検体の心拍数が予め心拍変動範囲内のとき前記X線強度変調制御を行い、前記スキャンと並行して得られた被検体の心拍数が予め心拍変動範囲を超えたとき前記X線定常制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記スキャン直前の被検体の第1の心拍周期の心拍数と当該第1の心拍周期の1つ前の第2の心拍数の差が予め定められた上限心拍数差内のとき前記X線強度変調制御を行い、前記第1の心拍数と前記第2の心拍数の差が前記上限心拍数差を超えたとき前記X線定常制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記X線強度変調制御中に前記被検体の心拍数が予め心拍変動範囲を超えたとき、前記X線強度変調制御を中止し前記X線定常制御に切り替えることを特徴とする請求項3記載のX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記X線強度変調制御中に前記第1の心拍数と前記第2の心拍数の差が前記上限心拍数差を超えたとき、前記X線強度変調制御を中止し前記X線定常制御に切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のX線コンピュータ断層撮影装置。
