Claims (5)
- 正極、負極、および前記正極と前記負極との間に介在されるセパレータを備える電極組立体と;
電解液と;
前記電極組立体および前記電解液を収容するケースと;
を備えて形成されるリチウム二次電池において、
前記セパレータは、
ポリエチレン材質の多孔性膜から形成され、
縦方向の最大熱収縮率および横方向の最大熱収縮率は、15〜30%であり、
前記縦方向の最大熱収縮率に対する前記横方向の最大熱収縮率の比は、0.8〜1.3であり、
前記最大熱収縮率は、前記セパレータの温度を常温から160℃まで10℃/minの昇温速度で昇温させながら加熱によって収縮された長さを、昇温前の前記セパレータの長さで割った値であることを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。 - 前記正極は、アルミニウム集電体および正極活物質層を備え、
前記正極活物質層は、コバルト酸リチウム、カーボンブラックおよびポリビニリデンフルオライドを含んで形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記負極は、銅集電体および負極活物質層を備え、
前記負極活物質層は、メソカーボンマイクロビーズおよびポリビニリデンフルオライドを含んで形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記電解液は、エチレンカーボネート:プロピレンカーボネート:ジメチルカーボネートの割合が3:4:1質量比である溶媒に、リチウム塩のLiPF6を溶解することにより形成される1.15mol/Lの溶液であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は、前記正極、前記負極および前記セパレータを順次積層して巻回することにより、ゼリーロール状に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のリチウム二次電池。
