図1は、本発明の実施例1を示す図である。図に於いて、101は筐体、102は蓄電器モジュール、103は吸入口、104a,104bは温度検出手段、105は排出口、106は制御手段、107は冷却手段である。
103及び排出口105が設けられており、吸入口103及び排出口105付近には温度検出手段104a,104bが配設されている。また、排出口105には冷却手段107が配設されている。これら、温度検出手段104a,104b及び冷却手段107は制御手段106に電気的に接続されている。
105,蓄電器モジュール102の温度から蓄電装置の状態を診断すると、確実に診断できる。すなわち、熱発生源である蓄電器モジュール102の温度より、温度検出手段104bの温度が温度検出手段104aの温度より高くなるべきか否かが明確になり、確実な診断が可能となる。
図2は、本発明の実施例2を示す図である。図に於いて、201は蓄電器、202は電流検出手段、203は電圧検出手段、104a,104b(冷却媒体の吸入・排出温度),102a(蓄電器モジュール温度),204a,204b(蓄電器温度)は温度検出手段、205は選択手段、206はマイクロコンピュータ、207は通信手段である。

0.1≦y≦0.5,0.05≦z≦0.5,0.01≦α≦0.3を満たす)であることがより好ましい。また、本発明の実施例で用いたLi1.15Mn1/3Ni1/3Co1/3O2は低温特性とサイクル安定性が高くHEV用デバイスの材料として最適である。

- 筐体と、
複数の蓄電器を電気的に接続することにより構成された構成体であり、前記筐体の内部に配置された蓄電器モジュールと、
前記複数の蓄電器を冷却する冷却媒体を前記筐体内に流入させ、前記複数の蓄電器を冷却した冷却媒体を前記筐体内から流出させるための冷却手段と、
前記筐体に流入する前記冷却媒体の流入温度を検出するための第1温度検出手段、前記筐体から流出させる前記冷却媒体の流出温度を検出するための第2温度検出手段、及び前記蓄電器又は前記蓄電器モジュールの温度の少なくとも一方を検出するための第3温度検出手段を含む複数の温度検出手段と、
前記複数の温度検出手段から出力された電気信号が入力される制御手段と、を有し、
前記制御手段は、
前記複数の温度検出手段から出力された電気信号に基づいて、前記冷却媒体の流入温度及び流出温度並びに前記蓄電器又は前記蓄電器モジュールの少なくとも一方の温度を含む複数の温度を検出する温度検出部と、
前記温度検出部によって検出された温度に基づいて、前記冷却手段の作動を制御する制御部と、
前記温度検出部によって検出された、前記冷却媒体の流入温度、前記冷却媒体の流出温度、前記蓄電器又は前記蓄電器モジュールの少なくとも一方の温度を含む複数の温度の比較に基づいて、前記温度検出手段及び前記冷却手段に異常があるか否かを診断する診断部と、を有しており、
前記診断部は、前記冷却手段が動作している状態において、
前記冷却媒体の流出温度が前記冷却媒体の流入温度よりも高く、かつ前記冷却媒体の流出温度が前記蓄電器又は前記蓄電器モジュールの少なくとも一方の温度よりも低い場合には、前記温度検出手段及び前記冷却手段が正常と判断し、
前記冷却媒体の流出温度が前記冷却媒体の流入温度よりも高く、かつ前記冷却媒体の流出温度が前記蓄電器又は前記蓄電器モジュールの少なくとも一方の温度よりも高い場合、或いは、前記冷却媒体の流出温度が前記冷却媒体の流入温度よりも高いという比較結果以外で、前記冷却媒体の流入温度と前記冷却媒体の流出温度とが等しいという比較結果以外の場合には、前記冷却媒体の流出温度を検出するための温度検出手段が異常と診断し、
前記冷却媒体の流出温度が前記冷却媒体の流入温度よりも高いという比較結果以外で、前記冷却媒体の流入温度と前記冷却媒体の流出温度とが等しい場合には、前記温度検出手段又は前記冷却手段が異常と診断する、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記診断部において、前記温度検出手段又は前記冷却手段に異常がある判断された場合には、前記蓄電モジュールの入出力を制御する上位システムに、前記蓄電モジュールの入出力が制限されるように、前記診断結果に関する情報を出力する、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記診断部において、前記温度検出手段又は前記冷却手段に異常がある判断された場合には、報知手段を有する上位システムに、前記異常を報知するように、前記診断結果に関する情報を出力する、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記制御部は、前記診断部において、複数の前記蓄電器の温度を比較した結果、それらの差分が閾値を超えたと判断した場合には、前記冷却手段を動作させる、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記診断部において、複数の前記蓄電器の温度を比較した結果、それらの差分が閾値を超えたと判断した場合には、前記蓄電モジュールの入出力を制御する上位システムに、前記蓄電モジュールの入出力が制限されるように、前記診断結果に関する情報を出力する、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記診断部において、複数の前記蓄電器の温度を比較した結果、それらの差分が閾値を超えたと判断した場合には、報知手段を有する上位システムに、前記異常を報知するように、前記診断結果に関する情報を出力する、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項5又は6に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記複数の蓄電器の温度は、前記蓄電器の最高温度と最低温度である、
ことを特徴とする蓄電装置。
