Description
本願は、2003年5月20日に出願された仮特許出願第60/471,998号の恩典を請求するものである。
(A)実質的に管状の部材を含む腔内医療装置であって、
前記実質的に管状の部材が、開口端部、脈管の腔内に挿入するための第1の直径、及び前記脈管の腔内に固定するための第2の直径を有し、ニッケル、チタン、及びニッケルやチタンよりも放射線不透過性が高い金属を含む合金を含むことを特徴とする腔内医療装置。
(1)前記腔内医療装置が、超弾性特性及び形状記憶特性を有する合金を含むことを特徴とする実施態様Aに記載の腔内医療装置。
(2)前記合金が、ニッケル、チタン、及びプラチナを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の腔内医療装置。
(3)前記合金が、ニッケル、チタン、及びパラジウムを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の腔内医療装置。
(4)前記合金が、xが約5at%〜15at%の範囲であるTi50(Ni(50−X)PtX)を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(2)に記載の腔内医療装置。
(5)前記合金が、xが約5at%〜15at%の範囲であるTi50(Ni(50−X)PdX)を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(3)に記載の腔内医療装置。
(6)前記実質的に管状の部材がステントを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の腔内医療装置。

Claims (9)
- 実質的に管状の部材を含む腔内医療装置であって、
前記実質的に管状の部材が、開口端部、脈管の腔内に挿入するための第1の直径、及び前記脈管の腔内に固定するための第2の直径を有し、ニッケル、チタン、及びニッケルやチタンよりも放射線不透過性が高い金属を含む合金を含み、
前記管状の部材の各端部に少なくとも1つのマーカーが設けられ、
前記マーカーは、マーカーハウジング及びマーカーインサートを含み、
前記マーカーインサートは、前記管状の部材を構成する材料よりも放射線不透過性が高い材料から形成され、
前記マーカーハウジングは、前記管状の部材と一体であり、
前記マーカーハウジングは、前記マーカーインサートを配置する孔を有し、
前記孔は、前記管状の部材の径方向に円錐状であって、外面の直径が内面の直径よりも大きく、
前記マーカーインサートの厚みは、前記孔の高さよりも小さいか又は同一であり、
前記マーカーハウジングは、平坦な側部を含むことを特徴とする腔内医療装置。 - 前記マーカーインサートは、ニオビウム、タングステン、金、プラチナ、及びタンタルの少なくともいずれかで形成される、請求項1に記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記マーカーインサートは、タンタルで形成される、請求項2に記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記腔内医療装置が、超弾性特性及び形状記憶特性を有する合金を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記合金が、ニッケル、チタン、及びプラチナを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記合金が、ニッケル、チタン、及びパラジウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記合金が、xが約5at%〜15at%の範囲であるTi50(Ni(50−X)PtX)を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記合金が、xが約5at%〜15at%の範囲であるTi50(Ni(50−X)PdX)を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の腔内医療装置。
- 前記実質的に管状の部材がステントを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか1つに記載の腔内医療装置。
