Description
前記スイッチングパルスで制御され、駆動パルスを発生するスイッチング回路と、
一次巻線に前記駆動パルスが印加され、二次巻線に高周波駆動信号を発生する駆動トランスと、
複数本の放電管を水平面に対して平行に配置した第1の放電管グループと、
前記第1の放電管グループの放電管と同数の放電管を前記水平面に対して平行に配置した第2の放電管グループとを備え、
前記駆動トランスの前記二次巻線の一方の端子である+側高圧端子に、リアクタンス素子を介して前記第1の放電管グループの前記複数本の放電管のそれぞれの一方の端子を接続し、
前記駆動トランスの前記二次巻線の他方の端子である−側高圧端子に、前記第1の放電管グループへの前記+側高圧端子からの配線と交差しないように、リアクタンス素子を介して前記第2の放電管グループの放電管のそれぞれの一方の端子を接続し、
前記第1の放電管グループの前記複数本の放電管のそれぞれの他方の端子は、前記第1及び第2の放電管グループでの並び順が対応する同士で、リアクタンス素子を介して前記第2の放電管グループの放電管のそれぞれの他方の端子と接続され、前記第1及び第2の放電管グループの複数本の放電管のそれぞれの他方の端子同士を接続する配線は互いに交差することを特徴とする放電管駆動装置である。
本発明の実施形態1に係る放電管駆動装置の1例を第1図に示す。図に示すように、この放電管駆動装置は、制御回路3、スイッチング回路4、駆動トランスT1及び、複数本の放電管を含む第1及び第2の放電管グループG1及びG2より構成される。
本発明の実施形態2に係る放電管駆動装置の1例を第3図に示す。実施形態2に係る放電管駆動装置は、上記で説明した実施形態1に係る放電管駆動装置の変形された実施形態であり、実施形態1と違う部分として、2つの駆動トランスT1及びT2が使用される例を示す。尚、実施形態2に係る放電管駆動装置では、実施形態1に係る放電管駆動装置と同じ部品及び構成を多く備えるもので、同じ部分には同じ参照番号を付し、詳細な説明は省略する。
Claims (3)
- スイッチングパルスを発生する制御回路と、
前記スイッチングパルスで制御され、駆動パルスを発生するスイッチング回路と、
一次巻線に前記駆動パルスが印加され、二次巻線に高周波駆動信号を発生する駆動トランスと、
複数本の放電管を水平面に対して平行に配置した第1の放電管グループと、
前記第1の放電管グループの放電管と同数の放電管を前記水平面に対して平行に配置した第2の放電管グループとを備え、
前記駆動トランスの前記二次巻線の一方の端子である+側高圧端子に、リアクタンス素子を介して前記第1の放電管グループの前記複数本の放電管のそれぞれの一方の端子を接続し、
前記駆動トランスの前記二次巻線の他方の端子である−側高圧端子に、前記第1の放電管グループへの前記+側高圧端子からの配線と交差しないように、リアクタンス素子を介して前記第2の放電管グループの放電管のそれぞれの一方の端子を接続し、
前記第1の放電管グループの前記複数本の放電管のそれぞれの他方の端子は、前記第1及び第2の放電管グループでの並び順が対応する同士で、リアクタンス素子を介して前記第2の放電管グループの放電管のそれぞれの他方の端子と接続され、前記第1及び第2の放電管グループの複数本の放電管のそれぞれの他方の端子同士を接続する配線は互いに交差することを特徴とする放電管駆動装置。 - 前記第1および第2の放電管グループは、液晶表示パネルの長辺に対して平行にパネル面を分割した際の一方および他方の領域にそれぞれ配される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電管駆動装置。 - 前記第1および第2の放電管グループは、液晶表示パネルの長辺に対して垂直にパネル面を分割した際の一方および他方の領域にそれぞれ配される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電管駆動装置。
