Description
(ペルオキソチタン酸溶液の作成)
酸化チタン4g(PT−301:石原産業株式会社製高純度酸化チタン)に30%の濃度のH2O2水溶液100mlを添加し、その後、25%の濃度のNH3水溶液25mlを添加してpHを10.1に調整した後、15℃温度で保持して酸化チタンを溶解させることで、ペルオキソチタン酸溶液を得た。
得られたペルオキソチタン酸溶液を10℃の温度で36時間保持して球状ペルオキソチタン水和物を生成させた。次いで懸濁液をろ過、水洗、乾燥することで固液分離し本発明の球状ペルオキソチタン水和物(試料A)を得た。
得られた球状ペルオキソチタン水和物(試料A)を大気中600℃の温度で2時間焼加熱処理して本発明の球状酸化チタン(試料B)を得た。
実施例1の球状ペルオキソチタン水和物の生成において、保持する温度及び時間を60℃、3時間としたところ、ゲル化して塊となった。得られたゲル化物を乾燥した。乾燥物を実施例1と同様に加熱処理した後、乳鉢で粉砕して比較試料の酸化チタン(試料C)を得た。
Claims (4)
- 金属チタン及び酸化チタンから選ばれる少なくとも一種のチタン原料を過酸化水素溶液に溶解し、塩基性物質を添加して得られたペルオキソチタン酸溶液を20℃以下の温度に保持して球状ペルオキソチタン水和物を生成させた後、固液分離することを特徴とする平均粒子径が0.2〜5μmの範囲(但しサブミクロンの範囲は除く)にある球状ペルオキソチタン水和物の製造方法。
- 少なくとも24時間保持することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の球状ペルオキソチタン水和物の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の球状ペルオキソチタン水和物を加熱処理することを特徴とする球状酸化チタンの製造方法。
- 200〜1000℃の範囲の温度で加熱処理することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の球状酸化チタンの製造方法。
