Claims (6)
- 炭化タングステン基超硬合金、炭窒化チタン基サーメット、またはセラミックスを母材とする多角形平板状のインサート本体の表面に被覆層が形成された表面被覆切削インサートを、軸線回りに回転可能な一対の回転軸により、上記インサート本体のすくい面が上記軸線の方向に向けられるように挟み込んで保持しつつ上記軸線回りに回転させながら、ブラストガンにより上記表面被覆切削インサートの表面に研磨液を噴射してウェットブラストを行うことを特徴とする表面被覆切削インサートの製造方法。
- 上記ブラストガンによってウェットブラストが行われている間の上記回転軸の回転時間と回転速度とを制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表面被覆切削インサートの製造方法。
- 上記回転軸が上記軸線回りに1回転する間に、1または複数の回転角度領域で、上記回転軸の回転速度を変化させることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の表面被覆切削インサートの製造方法。
- 上記回転軸が上記軸線回りに1回転する間に、1または複数の回転角度位置で、上記回転軸の回転を停止することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の表面被覆切削インサートの製造方法。
- 上記ブラストガンによる研磨液の噴射方向が上記軸線に対してなす噴射角を調整可能とすることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の表面被覆切削インサートの製造方法。
- 上記一対の回転軸のうち少なくとも一方の先端部にマスキング部材を取り付けて、上記表面被覆切削インサートの表面をマスキングしつつウェットブラストを行うことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の表面被覆切削インサートの製造方法。
