Description
Claims (7)
- 一定の中空断面で延びる長手形状を有する合成樹脂材料の一体成形体からなり、衝撃荷重入力方向に対して直交方向に広がる板状リブ部と、該板状リブ部の幅方向両側に連結されて衝撃荷重を該板状リブ部に対して幅方向の分力成分をもって伝達する衝撃荷重伝達部とが形成された自動車用衝撃吸収部材において、
前記板状リブ部が、幅方向の中央部分に位置して厚さ寸法が最も小さい薄肉部を有していると共に、該薄肉部の幅方向両側において厚さ寸法が幅方向外方に向かって次第に大きくなる一対の徐変部を有していることを特徴とする自動車用衝撃吸収部材。 - 前記徐変部の最小厚さ寸法となる前記薄肉部の幅方向外側端部と連結される該徐変部の幅方向内側端部の厚さ寸法をt0 とすると共に、該徐変部の最大厚さ寸法となる幅方向外側端部の厚さ寸法をt1 とし、該徐変部の幅寸法(w)に対する厚さ寸法(t)の変化率(t/w)をrとして、式:r=(((t1 −t0 )/t0 )×100)/wを用い、0<r<2とされている請求項1に記載の自動車用衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記薄肉部が、一定の厚さ寸法で前記板状リブ部の幅方向に延びるように形成されている請求項1に記載の自動車用衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記板状リブ部の幅方向において、前記薄肉部と前記徐変部が湾曲した表面形状で滑らかに接続されている請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の自動車用衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記薄肉部とその幅方向両側の前記一対の徐変部が、前記板状リブ部の幅方向において連続した湾曲面からなる表面形状をもって形成されている請求項4に記載の自動車用衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記板状リブ部が、衝撃荷重入力方向で互いに離隔して複数設けられている請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の自動車用衝撃吸収部材。
- 前記板状リブ部の全体の幅方向寸法に対する前記薄肉部の幅方向寸法の比が0〜0.8とされていると共に、該板状リブ部の全体の幅方向寸法に対する前記徐変部の幅方向寸法の比が0.1〜0.5とされている請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の自動車用衝撃吸収部材。
