Description
まず、試料である複合中空繊維膜をデニールクリールに10回巻き取って束にする。この時、巻取り張力は、表示繊度×1/10gである。
このようにして測定した試料の長さL0及びL1を、下の式に代入して(Cr,%)を計算する。
引張試験機を用いて、コーティングされた高分子樹脂薄膜が管状編物から剥離される瞬間の荷重を測定し、これをせん断力が加えられる面積(m2)で除算して剥離強度を計算する。
−測定機器:インストロン4303
−ロードセル(Load Cell):1KN
−把持距離(Crosshead Speed):25mm/分
−試験片:6mm直径のポリプロフィレンチューブに複合中空繊維膜1本を、接着部の長さが10mmとなるようにしてポリウレタン樹脂で接着・固定して製造
中空繊維膜の有効長さが10cmである小型モジュール(Module)を製作し、25℃、1kgの加圧条件で外圧方式(Out−inflow)で純水を一定時間透過させ、透過された純水の量を測定することで、下記のように水透過度を求める。
走査電子顕微鏡を用いて支持体(補強材)の表面にコーティングされた高分子樹脂薄膜層の破断面を観察した。
ポリスルホン17重量%、ポリビニルピロリドン9重量%及びポリエチレングリコール10重量%を、64重量%のジメチルホルムアミド(有機溶媒)に撹拌・溶解し、透明な紡糸ドープを製造する。次いで、この紡糸ドープを2.38mmφ径の2重管状ノズルに供給すると同時に、クリンプ率10%、繊度0.4デニールのモノフィラメント200本からなる80デニールのマルチフィラメント6本を合糸して用意した製編用原糸12本を使って外径が2mmとなるように製編した管状編物を、前記ノズルの中央部に通過させ、この管状編物の表面に紡糸ドープを被服(コーティング)した後、これを空気中に押し出す。この時、紡糸ドープの供給速度と編物の進行速度との割合(k)は、750g/m2としたし、紡糸ドープの被服(コーティング)厚は、0.2mmとした。続いて、上記のように紡糸ドープの被覆された管状編物を、10cmのエアーギャップ中に通過させたのち35℃の外部凝固槽を通過させ、凝固処理した。続いて、これを洗浄槽で洗浄したのち巻き取り、複合中空繊維膜を製造する。製造された複合中空繊維膜の構造及び各種の物性を評価した結果を、表1に示す。
クリンプ率20%、繊度0.1デニールのモノフィラメント650本からなる65デニールのマルチフィラメント6本を合糸して用意した製編用原糸12本を使って外径が2mmとなるように製編された管状編物を使用する以外は、実施例1と同一の工程及び条件にして複合中空繊維膜を製造した。製造された複合中空繊維膜の構造及び各種の物性を評価した結果は、表1に示す。
クリンプ率0%、繊度0.5デニールのモノフィラメント300本からなる150デニールのマルチフィラメント3本を合糸して用意した製編用原糸16本を使って外径が2mmとなるように製編された管状編物を使用する以外は、実施例1と同一の工程及び条件にして複合中空繊維膜を製造した。製造された複合中空繊維膜の構造及び各種の物性を評価した結果を、表1に示す。
Claims (10)
- 補強材の管状編物と、前記管状編物の表面にコーティングされた高分子樹脂薄膜とで構成された、編物により補強された複合中空繊維膜において、
前記管状編物が、クリンプ率2〜40%であり単糸繊度が、0.01〜0.4デニールであるモノフィラメントからなるマルチフィラメントで構成され、前記管状編物と該管状編物の表面にコーティングされた高分子樹脂薄膜間の剥離強度が1〜10MPaであり、
前記剥離強度はインストロン社製の引張試験機により、ロードセル1KN及び把持距離25mm/分の条件で測定され、
前記管状編物は、4〜10本のマルチフィラメントが合糸されてなる製編用原糸16〜60本で製編されたものである、
複合中空繊維膜。 - 管状編物を構成するマルチフィラメントが、150〜7,000本のモノフィラメントからなる請求項1に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- マルチフィラメントの繊度が、30〜140デニールである請求項1に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- 高分子樹脂薄膜の厚さが、0.2mm以下である請求項1に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- 高分子樹脂薄膜が補強材内に浸透する距離が、補強材厚の30%未満である請求項1に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- 高分子樹脂薄膜が、高分子樹脂、有機溶媒、ポリビニルピロリドン及び親水性化合物からなる紡糸ドープで製造されたものである請求項1に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- 高分子樹脂が、ポリスルホン樹脂、ポリエテルスルホン樹脂、スルホン化ポリスルホン樹脂、ポリビニリデンフルオリド樹脂、ポリアクリロニトリル樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、ポリアミドイミド樹脂、または、ポリエテルイミド樹脂である請求項6に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- 親水性化合物が、水またはグリコール類化合物である請求項6に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- グリコール類化合物が、分子量2,000以下のポリエチレングリコールである請求項8に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
- 有機溶媒が、ジメチルアセトアミド、ジメチルホルムアミドまたはこれらの混合液である請求項6に記載の複合中空繊維膜。
