Claims (5)
- 内燃機関の排気通路にタービンを有し且つ吸気通路にコンプレッサを有するターボチャージャと、
前記タービンより下流の排気通路と前記コンプレッサより上流の吸気通路とを接続する低圧EGR通路と、
前記低圧EGR通路の接続箇所より上流の排気通路に設けられ排気通路の流路断面積を変更する排気絞り弁と、
前記タービンより下流且つ前記排気絞り弁より上流の排気通路に設けられる排気浄化装置と、
前記低圧EGR通路に設けられ低圧EGR通路の流路断面積を変更する低圧EGR弁と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態が所定の低負荷低回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、前記内燃機関の運転状態が、負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が前記低負荷低回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定の中負荷中回転数領域の運転状態である場合及び負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が該中負荷中回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定の高負荷高回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、前記内燃機関の運転状態が、負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が前記高負荷高回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御するEGR制御手段と、
を備え、
前記排気浄化装置は、排気中の粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタを有し、
前記フィルタに捕集された粒子状物質を酸化除去する再生処理を行う時に、再生処理を行わない時と比較して前記排気絞り弁の開度を閉弁方向に制御するフィルタ再生手段を備え、
前記EGR制御手段は、前記中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において前記フィルタ再生手段により前記再生処理が行われて前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御
される場合に、該中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において前記フィルタ再生手段により前記再生処理が行われず前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御されない場合と同様に、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が前記所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気還流装置。 - 内燃機関の排気通路にタービンを有し且つ吸気通路にコンプレッサを有するターボチャージャと、

前記タービンより下流且つ前記排気絞り弁より上流の排気通路に設けられる排気浄化装置と、
前記低圧EGR通路に設けられ低圧EGR通路の流路断面積を変更する低圧EGR弁と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態が所定の低負荷低回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、前記内燃機関の運転状態が、負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が前記低負荷低回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定の中負荷中回転数領域の運転状態である場合及び負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が該中負荷中回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定の高負荷高回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、前記内燃機関の運転状態が、負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が前記高負荷高回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御するEGR制御手段と、

前記EGR制御手段は、前記中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において前記触媒暖機手段により前記排気浄化触媒の暖機が行われて前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御される場合に、該中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において前記触媒暖機手段により前記排気浄化触媒の暖機が行われず前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御されない場合と同様に、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が前記所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気還流装置。 - 内燃機関の排気通路にタービンを有し且つ吸気通路にコンプレッサを有するターボチャージャと、
前記タービンより下流の排気通路と前記コンプレッサより上流の吸気通路とを接続する低圧EGR通路と、
前記低圧EGR通路の接続箇所より上流の排気通路に設けられ排気通路の流路断面積を変更する排気絞り弁と、
前記タービンより下流且つ前記排気絞り弁より上流の排気通路に設けられる排気浄化装置と、
前記低圧EGR通路に設けられ低圧EGR通路の流路断面積を変更する低圧EGR弁と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態が所定の低負荷低回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低
圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、前記内燃機関の運転状態が、負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が前記低負荷低回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定の中負荷中回転数領域の運転状態である場合及び負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が該中負荷中回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定の高負荷高回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、前記内燃機関の運転状態が、負荷又は回転数の少なくとも一方が前記高負荷高回転数領域内の負荷又は回転数より高い所定領域内の運転状態である場合、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御するEGR制御手段と、
を備え、
前記排気絞り弁は、補助ブレーキとして排気ブレーキを使用する場合に、排気ブレーキを使用しない場合と比較して閉弁方向に操作されるものであり、
前記EGR制御手段は、前記中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において排気ブレーキが使用されて前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御される場合に、該中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において排気ブレーキが使用されず前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御されない場合と同様に、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が前記所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気還流装置。 - 請求項1から3の何れか1項において、
前記低圧EGR通路の接続箇所より上流の吸気通路に設けられ吸気通路内を流通する吸気の流量を調節する吸気絞り弁を更に備え、
前記EGR制御手段は、前記低圧EGR弁の開度が全開の状況において、更に前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量を増加させたい場合には、前記吸気絞り弁を閉弁方向に制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気還流装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項において、
前記タービンより上流の排気通路と前記コンプレッサより下流の吸気通路とを接続する高圧EGR通路と、
前記高圧EGR通路に設けられ高圧EGR通路の流路断面積を変更する高圧EGR弁と、
を備え、
前記EGR制御手段は、
(A)前記内燃機関の運転状態が前記低負荷低回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記高圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となり且つ前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記高圧EGR弁及び前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、
(B)前記内燃機関の運転状態が前記中負荷中回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記高圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となり且つ前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記高圧EGR弁及び前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、
(C)前記内燃機関の運転状態が前記高負荷高回転数領域内の運転状態である場合、前記高圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロとなり且つ前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記高圧EGR弁及び前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、
(D)前記内燃機関の運転状態が前記所定領域内の運転状態である場合、前記高圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになり且つ前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量がゼロになるように前記高圧EGR弁及び前記低圧EGR弁を制御し、
前記EGR制御手段は、前記中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において前記フィルタ再生手段により前記再生処理が行われ、前記触媒暖機手段により前記排気浄化触媒の暖機が行われ、又は排気ブレーキが使用されて前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御される場合に、該中負荷中回転数領域又は高負荷高回転数領域において前記フィルタ再生手段により前記再生処理が行われず、前記触媒暖機手段により前記排気浄化触媒の暖機が行われず、又は排気ブレーキが使用されず前記排気絞り弁の開度が閉弁方向に制御されない場合と同様に、前記低圧EGR通路を介して吸気通路に還流する排気の量が前記所定のゼロより大きい目標値となるように前記低圧EGR弁を制御することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気還流装置。
