本発明は、エンボス付き包装袋に関し、特には「ユニバーサルデザイン」の考え方を導入したエンボス付き包装袋に関する。

【従来の技術】
合成樹脂フィルムを主体とする包装袋、なかでも注ぎ口を有する包装袋は、注ぎ口が閉塞し易いという問題を有しながらも詰め替え専用の包装袋を初め多くの用途で使用されている。
ところでこれらの包装袋の表面には種々の情報、例えば、内容物の種類や数量、使用方法、袋の開封方法等の情報が印刷という形態で付加されており、消費者はその情報を読み取り最適の方法で使用している。

一方、近年容器包装の世界においても、年齢、性別、身体、言語など人々の様々な特性や違いを超えて,できるだけすべての人々に配慮されたデザインや使い方を追求するという「ユニーバーサルデザイン」の考え方が導入されつつあり、誰でも公平に使用できることや使う上で自由度の高いことなどが求められている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、合成樹脂フィルムを主体とする包装袋、特に、合成樹脂フィルムを主体とする注ぎ口を有する包装袋に関する以上のような問題に鑑みてなされたもので、「ユニバーサルデザイン」の考え方を導入し、かつ、注ぎ性を向上させたエンボス付き包装袋を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】

本発明の請求項1の発明は、表裏2枚の合成樹脂フィルムの周縁をシールしてなる包装袋に、雄型と雌型を用いた型押し加工により注出方向を示す深さ10μm以上1mm未満の矢印形状のエンボス模様を、内容物を注出する時の包装袋の注出口部分の前記表裏2枚の合成樹脂フィルムの同じ位置に同じ向きに、エンボス模様が重なり合うように未シール部に施したことを特徴とする、エンボス付き包装袋である。

このように請求項1記載の発明によれば、雄型と雌型を用いた型押し加工によりエンボス模様を施すので、比較的容易にエンボス加工を行うことができる。また、エンボス模様が中身を取り出す注出口の位置や注出方向を示す形状であるので、文字や記号がわからない消費者にとっても、エンボス模様を触るなどするだけで注出口の位置や注出方向を理解することができる。

また、請求項2の発明は、請求項1記載の発明において、前記包装袋を、あらかじめ、80°Cから100°Cの温度で予備加熱した後、エンボス模様を施したことを特徴とする、エンボス付き包装袋である。

このように請求項2記載の発明によれば、製袋後の包装袋を、あらかじめ、80°Cから100°Cの温度で予備加熱した後、エンボス模様を施すので、エンボス模様が施し易くなる。

また、請求項3の発明は、請求項1又は2の発明において、前記エンボス模様が矢印形状の絵柄の輪郭に合わせて凸形状や凹形状になっていることを特徴とするエンボス付き包装袋である。

このように請求項3記載の発明によれば、エンボス模様が矢印形状の絵柄の輪郭に合わせて凸形状や凹形状になっているので、見る人に矢印形状の絵柄を強調して訴えることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明のエンボス付き包装袋を、一実施形態に基づいて以下に詳細に説明する。
本発明のエンボス付き包装袋は、例えば、図1に示すように、表裏2枚の合成樹脂フィルム(11、12)の周縁をシール(13)してなる包装袋(10)の、製袋するまえの合成樹脂フィルム、又は、製袋後の包装袋に、エンボス模様(15)を施したエンボス付き包装袋(1)である。

包装袋(10)は、三方シール袋、四方シール袋、ピロー包装袋、スタンディングパウチなど,一般的に公知な、周縁がシール(13)された包装袋が使用できる。なかでもスタンディングパウチは、自立性があるため陳列性に優れ、詰め替え用の包装袋等にも使用されている。

包装袋(10)に使用される合成樹脂フィルム(11、12)としては、たとえば、二軸延伸ナイロンフィルム(ONy)/線状低密度ポリエチレン(L−LDPE)、ONy/アルミニウム箔(Al)/L−LDPE、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(PET)/Al/L−LDPE、PET/Al/ONy/L−LDPE等の一般的に公知の複合フィルムが挙げられるが、ヒートシール適性、耐内容物性、開封性、引き裂き性、後記するエンボス加工適性等を総合的に勘案して決定すればよい。

エンボス模様(15)は、包装袋として製袋した後から施しても良いし、製袋するまえの合成樹脂フィルムの段階で施しても良い。
前者の方法を採ると表裏のフィルム2枚同時にエンボス模様が施され、後者の方法を採ると表裏どちらか一方の或いは両方のフィルムにエンボス模様が施されることが可能である。

エンボス模様を施す方法は、雌雄の金型を用いて真空成形法又は圧空成形法による方法、あるいは、雄型と雌型を用いた型押し加工による方法があげられる。
前者の真空成形法又は圧空成形法による方法は、比較的深いエンボス模様を加工することができるが、絞ることによるしわが発生し易い。
後者の型押し加工による方法は、エンボス模様は比較的浅くできるが、絞ることによるしわは発生しにくい。また、加工速度も低下しない。
エンボス深さとしては1μm〜10mm程度が良いが、より好ましくは10μm〜5mm程度である。

また、注出口(14)を有する包装袋の注出口部分にエンボス模様(15)を施した場合には、注出口部分の閉塞性が改善され、注出口が閉塞しにくくなり内容物の注ぎ出し性が良くなる。

注出口(14)を有する包装袋の場合、注出口切取り位置指示マーク(a)を表示しておくと便利である。注出口切取り位置指示マーク(a)は、ミシン目、半切れ線、罫線、あるいは印刷による表示のいずれか、または、それらを組み合わせて形成すれば良い。
注出口切取り位置指示マーク(a)の先端に、V字状、I字状等の切り込み(16)を設けておくことにより、開封開始位置、開封方向がよりわかりやすくなる。

上記のように、本発明のエンボス付き包装袋は包装袋の表面にエンボス模様を施すことにより、商品文字の強調、バリアフリー表示、注ぎ性を向上させた包装袋とすることができる。
