Description
輪3の幅面M2は1つの環状平坦面である。後ろ蓋11の幅面M1は、環状の内径側平坦面N1、中間平坦面N2,N3、および外径側平坦面N4の4つに順次段下がりで区分される。そして中間平坦面N2とN3の間に段部25が形成される。段部25は、内側の中間平坦面N2の外周から略90°で凹段となった部分で、段部25の後方端から外側の中間平坦面N3が延在する。図2に示すように、段部25の外周の半径r1は、弾性シール材付環状スペーサ20における円環状弾性シール材21の弾性変形しない平常時の半径r2より少し大きく設定される(r1>r2)。また、図2に示す平常時の弾性シール材21の幅W2は、段部25の段差W1とスペーサ20の板厚tの合計より少し大きく設定される(W2>W1+t)。

Claims (2)
- 車軸に装着される転がり軸受の内輪の幅面と、前記車軸に装着されて車軸に対する前記内輪の軸方向位置を規制するリング部材の幅面との間に、両幅面に当接させて環状スペーサを介在させた鉄道車両用軸受装置において、
前記環状スペーサの外径側周縁部に、前記内輪とリング部材の対向する両幅面に弾性変形して当接する環状弾性シール材をその弾性変形方向略中央部で一体に固着し、
前記両幅面のいずれか一方が平面で他方に段部が形成してあり、前記環状スペーサの外径側周縁部を前記段部側に屈曲させて前記平面から浮かせた状態にして前記環状弾性シール材を一体に固着すると共に、前記環状弾性シール材の片側を前記段部に嵌合し、
前記段部の内側に、該段部を形成した前記幅面と前記環状スペーサとの間に形成された、摩耗粉の貯溜スペースを有することを特徴とする鉄道車両用軸受装置。 - 前記転がり軸受が複列の円錐ころ軸受であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鉄道車両用軸受装置。
