例1において、図1に示したような試験装置を使用した。反応器としては、55mmの内径および1000mmの全高を有する気泡塔を使用した。
Claims (8)
- メタノールを一酸化炭素と0.5〜10MPa絶対の圧力で触媒としての金属アルコラートの存在で反応器中で反応させ、その際に反応器からガス流を取出し、このガス流から一緒に導かれる蟻酸メチルを凝縮によって分離し、残留するガス流を完全にかまたは部分的に循環ガス流として反応器に返送させることにより蟻酸メチルを製造する方法において、ガスが1つの方向に流れる、反応器の少なくとも1つの範囲内で平均ガス見掛け流速を1〜20cm/秒に調節し、カリウムメタノラートを金属アルコラートとして使用し、反応を60〜85℃の温度で実施することを特徴とする、蟻酸メチルの製造法。
- ガスが1つの方向に流れる、反応器の少なくとも1つの範囲内で平均ガス見掛け流速を2〜10cm/秒に調節する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 液状反応混合物1kg当たり0.01〜2モルの使用された触媒の濃度で反応を実施する、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 反応を2〜4MPa絶対の圧力で実施する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 反応器に供給されるメタノールの全体量と新たに供給される一酸化炭素の量とのモル比を1.4〜3.3に調節する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 気泡塔を使用し、この気泡塔をメタノールを含有する液体流と一酸化炭素を含有するガス流の供給に関連して並流運転形式で運転させる、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 反応をカスケード反応器中で実施する、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 反応器から取り出されたガス流を、精留塔内で蟻酸メチルを含有する塔底流と一酸化炭素および蟻酸メチルを含有する塔頂流とに分離し、塔頂流から一緒に導かれる蟻酸メチルを凝縮によって分離し、残留するガス流を完全にかまたは部分的に循環ガス流として反応器に返送させる、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
