Claims (6)
- 電解質溶液と、前記電解質溶液及び空気と接触するように配置され正極となる空気電極と、前記電解質溶液と接触するように配置され負極となる金属電極と、前記電解質溶液と接触するように配置されたダイヤモンド電極と、を有し、前記金属電極に負の電位を印加可能であると共に前記ダイヤモンド電極に正の電位を印加可能であることを特徴とする空気二次電池。
- 更に、前記金属電極及び前記ダイヤモンド電極に接続された直流電源を有し、この直流電源により前記金属電極及び前記ダイヤモンド電極に電位を印加可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気二次電池。
- 前記直流電源と前記金属電極又は前記ダイヤモンド電極との間には、スイッチが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の空気二次電池。
- 前記金属電極は、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、亜鉛及び亜鉛合金からなる群から選択された1種の金属材料により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の空気二次電池。
- 前記電解質溶液中の電解質は、水酸化カリウム又は水酸化ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の空気二次電池。
- 前記電解質溶液中の電解質は、中性塩であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の空気二次電池。
