Claims (4)
- 第1リップ、第1位置、および第2位置を有する第1プレートであって、第1位置は第2位置と第1リップとの間にある第1プレートと、
第2リップ、第3位置、および第4位置を有する第2プレートであって、第3位置は第4位置と第2リップとの間にあり、第1プレートの第2位置は第2プレートの第4位置からある間隔離れている第2プレートと、
上部シートおよび底部シートを有するシムであって、前記シムの前記上部シートは第1位置で前記第1プレートと当該上部シートの第1シート幅で接触し、および前記シムの前記底部シートは前記第3位置で前記第2プレートと当該底部シートの第2シート幅で接触することによって、オリフィスに終端がありかつあるサイズの隙間をそれらの間に有する前記第1および第2リップによって前記オリフィスにおける境界が定められたスロットをダイに形成するシムと、
前記第1および第3位置において取り付けのための力を作用して、前記第1および第2シート幅それぞれでの接触を行わせる取り付け手段と、
前記第2位置および前記第4位置で前記第1プレートを前記第2プレートと調整可能に連結することにより、前記第1と第2リップとの間の前記隙間のサイズを、前記第1プレートの前記第2位置と前記第2プレートの前記第4位置との間の間隔を調整することによって調整可能とする手段と、
を有することを特徴とするダイ。 - 前記第1プレートが前記第2位置の上部に位置するつる巻きばねをさらに備え、前記第2位置および前記第4位置で前記第1プレートを前記第2プレートに調整可能に連結させる前記手段が、前記つる巻きばねの上部に位置する頭部を有する結合部材と、前記頭部から突き出て、前記つる巻きばねと前記第1プレートを貫通しかつ前記第2プレートを少なくとも部分的に貫通して延びる締め具とを備えることにより、前記頭部が前記第1プレートの方へ動かされる場合に、前記頭部はつる巻きばねを圧縮することができることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のダイ。
- ダイのスロットオリフィス隙間の隙間サイズを制御する方法であって、前記ダイは、
第1リップ、第1位置、および第2位置を有する第1プレートであって、第1位置は第2位置と第1リップとの間にある第1プレートと、
第2リップ、第3位置、および第4位置を有する第2プレートであって、第2位置は第4位置と第3リップとの間にある第2プレートと、
上部シートおよび底部シートを有するシムであって、前記シムは前記第1位置で前記上部シート上の前記第1プレートと当該上部シートの第1シート幅で接触し、および前記第3位置で前記底部シート上の前記第2プレートと当該底部シートの第2シート幅で接触することによって、オリフィスに終端がありかつ隙間をそれらの間に有する前記第1および第2リップによって前記オリフィスにおける境界が定められたスロットをダイに形成するシムと、
前記第1および第3位置において取り付けのための力を作用して、前記第1および第2シート幅それぞれでの接触を行わせる取り付け手段と、を備えることにより、
前記第1と第2リップとの間の前記隙間のサイズが、前記第1プレートの前記第2位置と前記第2プレートの前記第4位置との間の間隔を調整する手段によって調整されることができ、
前記方法は、前記間隔を小さくし、前記隙間のサイズを大きくするように前記調整手段を調整する工程を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 調整手段がばねおよび結合部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
