Description
・書き込むべきアドレスを含む消去ブロックのデータを一時バッファに読み出す。
・その後に当該消去ブロックを消去する。
・一時バッファ上で書き込むべき断片データを上書きする。
・一時バッファ上のデータを当該消去ブロックに書き戻す。
前記パラメータは、前記データサイズと、当該データサイズでデータを前記記録媒体に対して読み書きするのに要する時間に関する情報とを互いに対応させたテーブルであり、
前記データサイズそれぞれでデータが書き込まれる際におけるデータ転送効率を示すパラメータが記録された記憶部と、
データアクセス装置が送信する必要データ転送効率を示す情報を受けて、前記記憶部に記憶されたパラメータに照合することで、データ書き込み時における最適データサイズを選択する手段と、
選択した最適データサイズを示す情報を、前記データアクセス装置に送信する手段と、
を有する。
上記記録媒体に、データを読み書きするデータアクセス装置であって、
当該データアクセス装置で読み書き対象とするデータの方式において規定される所定の必要データ転送効率を示す情報を、前記記録媒体に送信する手段と、
前記必要データ転送効率を示す情報を受信した前記記録媒体が送信する最適データサイズを示す情報に基づいてデータ書き込み時におけるデータサイズを設定し、そのデータサイズで前記記録媒体との間でデータの読み書きを行う手段と、
を有する。
図1〜図4を参照してDV方式のデジタルビデオデータを実時間記録するシステム構成を例にした本発明の参考例を説明する。図1はメモリカード型記録媒体(以下、メモリカードという)とアクセス装置の関係を示しており、記録媒体であるメモリカード101は、コマンド解析手段102、遅延パラメータ103、および遅延パラメータ読み出し手段104を有する。本実施形態では、遅延パラメータ読み出し手段104から、パラメータを読み出してデータアクセス装置に送信する手段が構成される。
図5,図6を参照して、本発明の実施の形態2を説明する。なお、実施の形態2の基本構成は、図1〜図4に示す参考例と同様であるため、それらの構成については説明を省略する。

Claims (3)
- 段階的に増減可能なデータサイズ単位でデータが読み書きされるとともに、データが書き込まれる際におけるデータ転送効率が前記データサイズに応じて変動し、かつ前記データサイズそれぞれでデータが書き込まれる際におけるデータ転送効率を示すパラメータが記録された記録媒体であって、
前記パラメータは、前記データサイズと、当該データサイズでデータを前記記録媒体に対して読み書きするのに要する時間に関する情報とを互いに対応させたテーブルであり、
前記データサイズそれぞれでデータが書き込まれる際におけるデータ転送効率を示すパラメータが記録された記憶部と、
データアクセス装置が送信する必要データ転送効率を示す情報を受けて、前記記憶部に記憶されたパラメータに照合することで、データ書き込み時における最適データサイズを選択する手段と、
選択した最適データサイズを示す情報を、前記データアクセス装置に送信する手段と、
を有することを特徴とする記録媒体。 - 請求項1に記載の記録媒体に、データを読み書きするデータアクセス装置であって、
当該データアクセス装置で読み書き対象とするデータの方式において規定される所定の必要データ転送効率を示す情報を、前記記録媒体に送信する手段と、
前記必要データ転送効率を示す情報を受信した前記記録媒体が送信する最適データサイズを示す情報に基づいてデータ書き込み時におけるデータサイズを設定し、そのデータサイズで前記記録媒体との間でデータの読み書きを行う手段と、
を有することを特徴とするデータアクセス装置。 - 前記記録媒体は半導体メモリであり、
前記データサイズは、前記記録媒体の消去ブロックサイズの整数倍の大きさである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の記録媒体。
