前記胴縁は屋外側に開口を有する底面と2側面とからなる断面コ字状の長尺材で、両開口端部には開口内部に向けてストッパーが立設され、
前記留め金具は底面と2側面とからなる断面コ字状の短尺材で、前記底面の外側に、外装パネルを挟込んでネジにより留め金具の底面に押付けて固着する取付片を備え、この取付片は留め金具と同幅で留め金具に平行な略矩形の挟込部と、留め金具から突起して挟込部の一辺と固着する突起部とからなり、
前記留め金具の底面に前記ネジ用の穿孔穴を設け、この穿孔穴に対向して取付片の挟込部に前記ネジ用の差込穴を設け、
前記胴縁の長手方向の任意の位置に前記留め金具を嵌着するように前記留め金具の両側面に設けられる開口部から突出するリングバネを備え、前記胴縁の対向するストッパーの隙間から前記留め金具を前記胴縁の内部に挿入する際に、前記リングバネは前記留め金具の両側面まで縮径するとともに前記留め金具を胴縁内に挿入すると拡径して前記胴縁の側面と前記ストッパーに係止するリングバネであることを特徴とする外装パネル用の胴縁と留め金具の構造。
