Description
炭化糖質組成物と、
界面活性剤と、
水と、を含むフォーム形成組成物が提供される。
代表的な調合物は、6重量%の濃度(94%の水を含有する)で使用するのに適した以下の一般混合物からなる。その成分を順に混合する。この混合物は、引火性液体の火に適用するために希釈及び発泡膨張に適している。当業者は、6重量%以外の濃度、例えば、必要に応じて3重量%と1重量%などを調製するために適切であるように比率を変えてもよい。
以下の成分からなる代表的な調合物が、6重量%の濃度(94%の水を含有する)で使用するために提供される。次に、この濃縮物を水で稀釈し、次に、フォームとして膨張させ、引火性液体の火に適用する。
以下の水性発泡組成物(濃縮物)を、実施例1の一般方法によって調製した。
以下の表は、3つの異なった寸法の火皿試験において本発明による実施例3の炭化糖質混合物(ブラウンシュガー)フォームの防火性能を示す。濃縮物を水(94%)で稀釈し、記載した流量で火にポンプ供給した。
以下の表は、0.28m2の火皿での本発明による実施例3の糖フォーム及び実施例3の炭化糖混合物の防火性能を示し、淡水または海水のいずれかで濃縮物を希釈する違いを比較する。
以下の表は、ICAOレベルB防火性能試験で炭化糖ブレンドを用いて(6重量%の濃度で用いた)実施例2の上述の濃縮物から調製したフォームの防火性能を示す。ノズル流量は、4.5平方メートルの円形の皿上に11.4 lpmである。本発明の炭化糖ブレンドフォームは、先行技術のAFFFフォームと比較される。
以下の成分からなる代表的の調合物が提供され、3重量%の濃度(97%の水を有する)において使用する。濃縮物を水で稀釈し、次いでフォームとして膨張させ、引火性液体の火に適用する。
Claims (21)
- 製造時に炭化工程にかけられたダークブラウンシュガーと、
界面活性剤と、
水と、
を含む、消火用の、フォーム形成組成物の水性希釈溶液。 - 前記ダークブラウンシュガーが、糖蜜を塗られた1種以上の単糖の結晶と、炭化糖との混合物である、請求項1に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記単糖が、スクロース、グルコース、フルクトース、マンノース及び転化糖からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記炭化糖が、スクロース、グルコース、フルクトース、転化糖またはそれらの混合物から調製される、請求項2に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記糖が、前記糖をカラメル化するのに十分な時間、その融点より少し高い温度に前記糖を制御加熱することによって炭化される、請求項4に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記ダークブラウンシュガーが、85重量%を超える単糖と、15重量%未満の糖蜜と、10重量%未満の炭化糖との混合物を含む、請求項5に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記ダークブラウンシュガーが、86〜99.7重量%のスクロースと、0〜7重量%のグルコース/フルクトースと、残部として0.01〜10重量%の糖蜜及び炭化糖の混合物を含み、前記ダークブラウンシュガーが3〜20重量%の量で存在する、請求項6に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記水が5〜89.9重量%の量で存在する、請求項7に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記界面活性剤が3〜33重量%の量で存在する、請求項7に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記界面活性剤が水溶性炭化水素界面活性剤またはシリコーン界面活性剤であり、前記界面活性剤が非イオン性、アニオン性、カチオン性、または両性である、請求項9に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記フォーム形成組成物が、増粘剤と、任意に、有機溶剤、ポリマー安定剤、防腐剤、緩衝剤、腐蝕抑制剤、抗微生物剤、二価イオン塩、フォーム安定剤、保湿剤及び希釈剤からなる群から選択される1種以上の成分とを更に含む、請求項9に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記増粘剤が10重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項11に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記増粘剤が、ポリヒドロキシポリマー、ポリアクリルアミド、セルロース樹脂、ポリアクリル酸、ポリエチレンオキシド及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項11に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 前記有機溶剤が、グリコール及びグリコールエーテルからなる群から選択される、請求項11に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- フルオロケミカル化合物を含有しない、請求項1に記載の水性希釈溶液。
- 製造時に炭化工程にかけられたダークブラウンシュガーと、
界面活性剤と、
水と、
を含む、消火用の、フォーム形成組成物の水性希釈溶液を通気する工程を含む、フォーム組成物の調製方法。 - 前記フォーム形成組成物が、圧縮ガス発泡装置によって通気される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記フォーム形成組成物が、前記フォーム形成組成物を水流に添加してノズルを通して放出することによって通気される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の水性希釈溶液から形成されるフォーム組成物を火に適用する工程を含む、消火方法。
- 引火性の液体又は化学物質の火を消すために、又は引火性の液体又は化学物質の発火又は再発火を防ぐために、請求項1に記載の水性希釈溶液から形成されるフォーム組成物を適用する工程を含む、引火性の液体又は化学物質の火の消火方法。
- 危険な引火性の液体又は化学物質の蒸気を抑えるか又は止めるために、請求項1に記載の水性希釈溶液から形成されるフォーム組成物を適用する工程を含む、危険な引火性の液体又は化学物質の蒸気を抑えるか又は止める方法。
