Description
前記エチレンと1-オクテンとの共重合体の、DSC法(窒素ガス中、昇温速度10℃/分)融点が50℃以上、かつショアA硬度(ASTM D−2240に準拠)が70以上であること、
前記モノカルボジイミド化合物が、N,N´−ジ−2,6−ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミドであること、
前記ポリカルボジイミド化合物が、カルボジイミド基に対して、フェニル基のオルトの位置がイソプロピル基で置換された芳香族ポリカルボジイミド化合物であること、
前記フェノール系抗酸化剤が、テトラキス−[メチレン−3−(3’,5’−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]メタンであること、および
繊維がモノフィラメントであること
が、いずれも好ましい条件であり、これらの条件の少なくとも一つの条件を満たすことによって、一層優れた効果の取得を期待することができる。
(1)100mlメスフラスコに試料約200mgを秤取する、
(2)ヘキサフルオロイソプロパノール/クロロホルム(容量比1/1)2mlを加えて試料を溶解させる、
(3)試料が溶解したら、クロロホルム8mlを加える、
(4)アセトニトリル/クロロホルム(容量比9/1)を徐々に加えポリマを析出させながら100mlとする、
(5)試料溶液を目開き0.45μmのディスクフィルターで濾過し、HPLCで定量分析する。HPLC分析条件は次の通り、
カラム:Inertsil ODS−2 4.6mm×250mm
移動相:アセトニトリル/水(容量比94/6)
流 量:1.5ml/min.
試料量:20μl
検出器:UV(280nm)。
JIS L1013−1992に準拠して行なった。
(1)サンプルつかみ間隔 25cm
(2)引張速度 30cm/min.
(3)試験温度 20℃
モノフィラメントを100リットルのオートクレーブに入れ、121℃飽和 水蒸気中で14日間、16日間、18日間処理した後、処理後のモノフィラメントの強力を上記のモノフィラメントの引張試験により求め、処理前のモノフィラメントの強力と比較した強力保持率を耐加水分解性の尺度とした(以下、蒸熱処理後の強力保持率という)。蒸熱処理後の強力保持率が高いほど耐加水分解性が優れることを表す。
モノフィラメントを熱風循環式耐熱性試験機に入れ、180℃加熱空気中で15日間、18日間、20日間処理した後、処理後のモノフィラメントの強力を上記のモノフィラメントの引張試験により求め、処理前のモノフィラメントの強力と比較した強力保持率を耐乾熱分解性の尺度とした(以下、乾熱処理後の強力保持率という)。乾熱処理後の強力保持率が高いほど耐乾熱分解性が優れることを表す。
原料として、公知の溶融重縮合と固相重縮合とによって製造した極限粘度0.94、末端カルボキシル基濃度15eq/106gのポリエチレンテレフタレート乾燥チップ(以下、PETチップという)、ET/OCT共重合体の1種であり融点50℃、ショアA硬度60のエンゲージ(登録商標)(以下“Eng”という)(デュポン ダウ エラストマージャパン(株)製品)ENR8137(ブロッキング防止剤としてペレット表面にタルク1重量%以下含有)、同じくET/OCT共重合体の1種であり融点60℃、ショアA硬度75の“Eng”8200および同じくET/OCT共重合体の1種であり融点98℃、ショアA硬度94の“Eng”8440、MCD化合物としてTIC(“STABAXOL”(登録商標)I(Rhein Chemie社製品))、カルボジイミド基に結合するベンゼン環の2,6−位および/または2,4,6−位にイソプロピル基が置換した構造を繰り返し単位とする芳香族PCD化合物を15重量%含有するPETマスターバッチ(以下、PCD−MBという)である“STABAXOL”(登録商標)KE7646(Rhein Chemie社製品)およびフェノール系抗酸化剤の一種であるテトラキス−〔メチレン−3−(3',5'−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート〕メタン(“Irganox”(登録商標)1010(チバ・スペシャリテイ・ケミカルズ社製品))(以下、IR1010という)を用意した。
Claims (8)
- ポリエステル以外の成分として、エチレンと1-オクテンとの共重合体0.3〜20重量%、モノカルボジイミド化合物0.01〜1.5重量%、ポリカルボジイミド化合物0〜3重量%およびフェノール系抗酸化剤を0〜2重量%含有するポリエステル繊維であって、カルボキシル末端基濃度が10当量/ポリエステル繊維106g以下であり、前記ポリカルボジイミド化合物が、このポリカルボジイミド化合物中の未反応のカルボジイミド基(D1)と、ポリエステルのカルボキシル末端基および/またはヒドロキシル末端基とが一部反応しているカルボジイミド基(D2)との合計[(D1)+(D2)]で1分子中に5〜100個のカルボジイミド基を含有することを特徴とするポリエステル繊維。
- 前記エチレンと1-オクテンとの共重合体の、DSC法(窒素ガス中、昇温速度10℃/分)融点が50℃以上、かつショアA硬度(ASTM D−2240に準拠)が70以上であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のポリエステル繊維。
- 前記モノカルボジイミド化合物が、N,N´−ジ−2,6−ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミドであることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のポリエステル繊維。
- 前記ポリカルボジイミド化合物が、カルボジイミド基に対して、フェニル基のオルトの位置がイソプロピル基で置換された芳香族ポリカルボジイミド化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のポリエステル繊維。
- 前記ポリエステル繊維が含有するフェノール系抗酸化剤が、テトラキス−[メチレン−3−(3’,5’−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]メタンであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載のポリエステル繊維。
- モノフィラメントであることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載のポリエステル繊維。
- 工業用織物の少なくとも一部の構成素材として使用されるためのものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載のポリエステル繊維。
- 工業用織物が抄紙ドライヤーキャンバス、不織布の熱接着工程用ベルト織物および熱処理炉内搬送ベルト用織物から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項7記載のポリエステル繊維。
