Claims (5)
- 車体に取り付ける取付けフランジを有する外方部材と、車輪を取り付ける車輪取付けフランジを有する内方部材との間に転動体を組み込んで、前記内方部材を回転自在に支持した車輪軸受部と、
ドライブシャフトの一端に設けられ、内周にトラック溝が形成された外側継手部材と、外側継手部材のトラック溝と内側継手部材のトラック溝との間に組み込まれたボールとからなる等速ジョイント部と
を備え、等速ジョイント部の外側継手部材の回転を車輪軸受部の内方部材に伝えるようにした駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記転動体を複列とし、外方部材に複列の外側軌道面を設け、前記複列の外側軌道面と対向する複列の内側軌道面のうちの一方を内方部材に、他方を外側継手部材に配置し、
内方部材は軸心部に貫通孔を有し、この貫通孔には円筒形のはめあい部とセレーション孔部が、インボード側の端面側から、はめあい部、セレーション孔部の順で連成してあり、
外側継手部材は、内方部材のはめあい部およびセレーション孔部とそれぞれ対応する軸方向位置に、はめあい部およびセレーション軸部を有し、前記セレーション軸部は焼入れ硬化させ、端部には未焼入れ部分が残してあり、
内方部材のインボード側の端面と外側継手部材の肩面を突き合せ、内方部材の貫通孔から突出した外側継手部材の端部の前記未焼入れ部分を径方向外側に向けて拡径させることによりかしめ部を形成した駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 内方部材の内周面に焼入れ硬化層を形成した請求項1の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材の外表面のうち、前記他方の内側軌道面部分からセレーション部まで連続した焼入れ硬化層が形成されている請求項1または2の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材を構成する材料が炭素含有量0.45重量%以上の炭素鋼である請求項1から3のいずれか1項の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材の焼入れ硬化前の硬度がHv200〜300である請求項1から4のいずれか1項の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
