Description
例えば、車両の低中速走行および低中出力走行となるようなエンジンの常用出力域において上記無段変速部が無段変速状態とされると、車両の燃費性能が確保される。また、高速走行において無段変速部が非無段変速状態とされると、専ら機械的な動力伝達経路でエンジンの出力が駆動輪へ伝達されて、電気的に変速比が変更させられる変速機として作動させる場合に発生する動力と電気エネルギとの間の変換損失が抑制されるので、燃費が向上させられる。また、高出力走行において無段変速部が非無段変速状態とされると、電気的に変速比が変更させられる変速機として作動させる領域が車両の低中速走行および低中出力走行となって、電動機が発生すべき電気的エネルギ換言すれば電動機が伝える電気的エネルギの最大値を小さくできるので、その電動機或いはそれを含む車両の駆動装置が一層小型化される。
また、その有段変速部の変速中において、車両の駆動力を付与する駆動力アシストを実施するとき、無段変速部が電気的な無段変速作動可能な無段変速状態とされているときと、無段変速部が電気的な無段変速作動しない非無段変速状態とされているときとで、前記電動機制御手段により駆動力アシストの方法が変更されるので、エンジンの回転速度を自由に設定することにより有段変速部の変速開始直後に速やかに駆動力を増加させられ得る無段変速部が無段変速状態のときはもちろんのこと、その無段変速部の無段変速状態に比較して、有段変速部の有段変速に伴うトルク増加の応答性が低下する可能性がある無段変速部が非無段変速状態のときにも車両の加速性能が向上して加速フィーリング(加速感)が向上する。さらに、前記電動機制御手段は、前記無段変速部が非無段変速状態とされているときには無段変速状態とされているときに比較して、前記駆動力アシストを早期に開始させるものであることから、無段変速部の無段変速状態に比較して有段変速部の変速に伴うトルク増加の応答性が低下する可能性がある無段変速部が非無段変速状態のときには、有段変速部のパワーオンダウンシフト時に車両の駆動力がより速やかに増加され、車両の加速性能が向上して加速フィーリング(加速感)が向上する。

ことを特徴とする車両用駆動装置の制御装置。 - エンジンの出力を第1電動機および伝達部材へ分配する差動機構と該伝達部材から駆動輪への動力伝達経路に設けられた第2電動機とを有して電気的な無段変速機として作動可能な無段変速部と、前記動力伝達経路の一部を構成する有段変速部とを備えた車両用駆動装置の制御装置であって、
前記差動機構に備えられて、該差動機構の差動作用を制限することにより前記無段変速部の電気的な無段変速機としての作動を制限する差動制限装置と、
前記有段変速部の変速中において、車両の駆動力を付与する駆動力アシストを実施するとき、前記無段変速部が電気的な無段変速作動可能な無段変速状態とされているときと、該無段変速部が電気的な無段変速作動しない非無段変速状態とされているときとで、該駆動力アシストの方法を変更する電動機制御手段と
を、含み、
前記電動機制御手段は、前記無段変速部が非無段変速状態とされているときには無段変速状態とされているときに比較して、前記駆動力アシストを早期に開始させるものである
ことを特徴とする車両用駆動装置の制御装置。 - 前記有段変速部の出力軸には電動機が作動的に連結されており、
前記駆動力アシストは、該有段変速部の出力軸に作動的に連結された電動機によって行われるものである請求項1または2の車両用駆動装置の制御装置。 - 前記有段変速部の出力軸に作動的に連結された電動機は、前記第2電動機である請求項3の車両用駆動装置の制御装置。
