Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a winged needle used for medical practice such as blood collection.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a winged needle comprising a hollow needle, a holding cylinder for holding the rear end of the hollow needle, and a pair of flexible wings formed integrally with the holding cylinder is used for medical procedures such as blood sampling. Has been. The medical practitioner holds both wings in the palm state, pierces the hollow needle into the patient's blood vessel, and then spreads both wings and attaches it to the patient's skin with adhesive tape to fix the hollow needle. Then, blood is collected from a patient's blood vessel through a hollow needle. The used winged needle is removed from the patient and discarded. However, if the hollow needle is exposed, the person who performs the disposal may be stabbed or touched by the hollow needle and may infect pathogenic bacteria. There is.
[0003]
In order to avoid needle stick accidents and infections, a winged needle protector is used in which a pair of slits are provided on the side wall of a substantially cylindrical protector main body in a radial direction along the axial direction. According to such a winged needle protector, the expanded wing is gradually slid backward from the end of the slit, and the hollow needle is also gradually moved rearward and stored in the protector body. The However, since the wing can slide in the tip direction along the slit by a force above a certain level, the hollow needle protrudes from the tip of the winged needle protector, and there is a risk that a needle stick accident or infection will occur.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a winged needle protector that can eliminate such inconvenience and reliably avoid a needle stick accident or infection.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A winged needle protector according to the present invention for solving the above-described problems includes a hollow needle, a holding cylinder for holding the rear end of the hollow needle, and a pair of flexible wings formed integrally with the holding cylinder. A pair of wings that are longer than the hollow needles and cut into the side wall of the substantially cylindrical protector body along the axial direction from the tip, A slidable slit is provided, and a side wall of the protector body is cut out wider than the slit in the circumferential direction, and one wing groove for fitting the pair of wings in the expanded state is connected to the slit. The width of the wing groove in the circumferential direction of the protector body is such that the pair of wings is in a state before the pair of wings returns to the normal state in which the pair of wings are completely open In the state, the pair of wings are fitted in the wing grooves. Characterized in that it is configured to.
[0006]
When the used winged needle is accommodated in the winged needle protector having the above-described configuration, first, both the wings are brought into a palm-arranged state and inserted into the tip of the slit. Then, the two wings in the palmed state are gradually slid rearward along the slits and fitted into the wing grooves. Since the slit is longer than the hollow needle, the hollow needle is accommodated in the protector body when both wings are fitted in the wing groove. Since both wings are fitted into the wing groove in the expanded state, it is possible to reliably prevent the situation where both wings slide forward along the slit and the hollow needle comes out of the protector body. Therefore, a person who disposes of the winged needle can work safely while avoiding needle stick accidents and infection.
[0007]
A guide groove that expands toward the tip may be provided at the tip of the slit. Thereby, both wings in the palm-arranged state can be easily inserted into the slit. In the wing expansion state where the width of the wing groove in the circumferential direction of the protector body is in a state before the pair of wings returns from the jointed state to the normal state in which the pair of wings are completely open, The pair of blades may be set to fit in the blade groove.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the winged needle protector of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a winged needle protector and a winged needle according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 2 is an explanatory view of a method of using the winged needle protector according to the present embodiment.
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 1, the winged needle 1 includes a substantially cylindrical hollow needle 4 having an inclined blade surface 3 at the tip, a substantially cylindrical holding cylinder 5 that holds the rear end of the hollow needle 4, A pair of wings 6 made of a soft resin and formed integrally symmetrically in the radial direction of the holding cylinder 5 are provided. The hollow needle 4 is connected to a medical instrument (not shown) via a tube 7.
[0010]
The winged needle protector 2 includes a protector body 8 made of a substantially cylindrical synthetic resin. The protector body 8 is provided with one slit 9 by cutting the side wall in the axial direction, and a blade groove 10 is formed by cutting the side wall in the circumferential direction and continuing to the slit 9. As will be described later, the slit 9 is made longer than the hollow needle 4 so that the hollow needle 4 is accommodated in the protector body 8 when the both wings 6, 6 of the winged needle 1 are fitted in the wing groove 10. . A guide groove 11 is provided at the tip of the slit 9 so as to expand toward the tip. A grip portion 12 formed of a concave portion obtained by cutting the outer peripheral surface of the side wall symmetrically in the radial direction is provided in the middle portion of the protector body 8.
[0011]
According to the winged needle 1 having the above-described configuration, although not shown, both the wings 6 and 6 are gripped in a palm-arranged state, and the hollow needle 4 is penetrated into a patient's blood vessel with the blade surface 3 facing upward. Then, both wings 6 and 6 are spread and attached to the patient's skin with an adhesive tape, and the winged needle 1 is fixed. Thereafter, a medical action such as blood collection is performed by a medical instrument (not shown) through the hollow needle 4 and the tube 7.
[0012]
The winged needle 1 after medical treatment is removed from the patient and discarded, but is stored in the winged needle protector 2 prior to disposal. This will be described with reference to FIG. First, as shown in FIG. 2 a, when both the wings 6, 6 brought into the palm-arranged state are gripped and inserted into the slit 9, the slit 9 opens according to the thickness of the both wings 6, 6. Since the guide groove 11 is provided at the tip of the slit 9, the two wings 6, 6 in the palm-arranged state can be smoothly inserted into the slit 9. Further, since the protector body 8 can be easily gripped by providing the gripping portion 12, the winged needle protector 2 can be easily handled. When the blades 6 and 6 are slid rearward of the slit 9 from the state shown in FIG. 2a, the blades 6 and 6 are fitted into the blade groove 10 in the expanded state as shown in FIG. It is stored in the main body 8 and the slit 9 is closed.
[0013]
Thus, the blades 6 and 6 are fitted into the blade groove 10 in the expanded state, and the protector body 8 is closed along the slit 9 so that the blades 6 and 6 slide in front of the slit 9. This is prevented. That is, it is possible to prevent the winged needle 1 once stored relative to the winged needle protector 2 and the hollow needle 4 from jumping out of the protector body 8. Therefore, the person who performs the disposal process can safely avoid the needle stick accident and infection and can work safely.
[0014]
In the present embodiment, the slit 9 is normally closed, and is formed of a slit that opens only when the two wings 6 and 6 in the palm-arranged state are inserted. As another embodiment, a kerf having a width corresponding to both wings 6 and 6 in the palm-arranged state may be used instead of the cut. Both the wings 6, 6 in the palmed state can be smoothly slid to the rear of the protector main body 8 with respect to the slit formed of such a cut groove.
