Description
【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は、例えば、マイクロ波通信、衛星放送受信等
に用いる平面アンテナに関するものである。

［従来の技術］ ストリップラインを形成した基板を両側より接地基板
により挟んだ構成の所謂トリプレート形の基板におい
て、上記接地基板に例えばスロットを形成して放射素子
とし、ストリップラインによりアンテナ素子をアレイ化
し、各放射素子への給電電力をストリップライン内で合
成（分岐）する構成の平面アンテナにおいては、給電パ
ターンの給電点に対し、同軸コネクタ、導波管等により
給電することが多い。

とし、ストリップラインによりアンテナ素子をアレイ化
し、各放射素子への給電電力をストリップライン内で合

ターンの給電点に対し、同軸コネクタ、導波管等により
給電することが多い。
第５図は従来例を示し、放射回路基板１には、環状の
スロットを形成して構成した放射素子1aが多数整列して
形成されている。給電回路基板２にはストリップライン
による給電線2aが形成されており、各給電線2aにより並
列に集合接続されて、最終としての給電点Ｐより、導波
管４内にプローブ５を突出して挿入している。

［発明が解決しようとする課題］ 上記の平面アンテナへ導波管４による給電部を設ける
場合、第５図に示すように、放射素子を削除した部分に
導波管４を配し、導波管４内にストリップラインによる
プローブ５を突出せしめ、ストリップライン−導波管変
換器を構成し、給電するようにしている。しかしなが
ら、放射素子の一部が削除されるため、ストリップライ
ンによる電力合成（分岐）部において、等位相、等振幅
の関係が保てず、不整合が生じ、良好な電力合成（分
岐）がなされず、ひいては、平面アンテナの特性の劣化
を招いているという問題があった。この問題は、特にア
ンテナ素子数の少ない平面アンテナにおいては顕著に現
れる。

導波管４を配し、導波管４内にストリップラインによる
プローブ５を突出せしめ、ストリップライン−導波管変
換器を構成し、給電するようにしている。しかしなが
ら、放射素子の一部が削除されるため、ストリップライ
ンによる電力合成（分岐）部において、等位相、等振幅
の関係が保てず、不整合が生じ、良好な電力合成（分
岐）がなされず、ひいては、平面アンテナの特性の劣化
を招いているという問題があった。この問題は、特にア
ンテナ素子数の少ない平面アンテナにおいては顕著に現
れる。
本発明は、上述の点に鑑みて提供したものであって、
良好な電力合成（分岐）を図ることができる導波管によ
る給電を可能にした平面アンテナを提供することを目的
としたものである。

［課題を解決するための手段］ 本発明は、最終の給電点のストリップラインが導波管
の両側面から挿入され、且つ両ストリップラインから導
波管に入力される電力の位相差を180゜としたストリッ
プライン−導波管変換器、縦横に等間隔に形成された放
射素子の間の空きスペースに形成したものである。

［実施例］ 以下、本発明の実施例を図面を参照して説明する。第
１図は平面アンテナの給電方法を示し、第３図（ａ）
（ｂ）は平面図及び断面図を示している。放射回路基板
１には、放射素子1aを削除せずに形成してあり、各放射
素子1aからの電力を合成したストリップラインの最終合
成部分を給電点とする時、最終の合成部分に至る２本の
プローブとしてのストリップラインa,bの合流点Ｑを中
心として導波管４へ接続するようにしてある。このスト
リップラインa,bは第３図に示すように、導波管４の両
側面から導波管４内に挿入配置してある。
１図は平面アンテナの給電方法を示し、第３図（ａ）
（ｂ）は平面図及び断面図を示している。放射回路基板
１には、放射素子1aを削除せずに形成してあり、各放射
素子1aからの電力を合成したストリップラインの最終合
成部分を給電点とする時、最終の合成部分に至る２本の
プローブとしてのストリップラインa,bの合流点Ｑを中
心として導波管４へ接続するようにしてある。このスト
リップラインa,bは第３図に示すように、導波管４の両
側面から導波管４内に挿入配置してある。
ここで、ストリップラインａとｂの長さは合流点Ｑが
通常の給電点Ｐ（第５図の給電点Ｐ）より、λg/4の長
さ分ずらした位置になるように選ばれている。尚、λｇ
はストリップライン内での波長である。また、そのよう
な長さに設定したとき、合流点Ｑがちょうど放射素子1a
の間に位置するように、合流点Ｑに至るまでのストリッ
プライン長を調整するようにしてある。この実施例で
は、第１図のストリップラインa,bの基部のＲとＲ′と
の部分で調整するようにしている。これは、以下の理由
による。すなわち、第２図に示すように、プローブ６を
導波管４の上下より挿入したときは、導波管４内の電界
Ｅの分布は逆相となる。従って、本発明のようにストリ
ップラインa,bを導波管４の上下より挿入し、電力の合
成をするような場合、上下から挿入する電力を予め逆相
とし、導波管４内での電界Ｅの方向を一致させる必要が
ある。つまり、通常の給電点Ｐよりλg/4ずらせば、ａ
とｂのストリップラインの長さは、λg/2の差があるこ
とになる。従って、合流点Ｑにおいては、180゜の位相
差がつき、電力の合成がこの合流点Ｑで行なうことがで
きることになる。尚、導波管４の両側面からストリップ
ラインa,bを挿入し、ストリップラインａとｂの長さは
合流点Ｑが通常の給電点Ｐ（第５図の給電点Ｐ）より、
λg/4の長さ分ずらした位置にする構成にてストリップ
ライン−導波管変換器を構成している。

はストリップライン内での波長である。また、そのよう
な長さに設定したとき、合流点Ｑがちょうど放射素子1a
の間に位置するように、合流点Ｑに至るまでのストリッ
プライン長を調整するようにしてある。この実施例で
は、第１図のストリップラインa,bの基部のＲとＲ′と
の部分で調整するようにしている。これは、以下の理由
による。すなわち、第２図に示すように、プローブ６を
導波管４の上下より挿入したときは、導波管４内の電界
Ｅの分布は逆相となる。従って、本発明のようにストリ
ップラインa,bを導波管４の上下より挿入し、電力の合
成をするような場合、上下から挿入する電力を予め逆相
とし、導波管４内での電界Ｅの方向を一致させる必要が
ある。つまり、通常の給電点Ｐよりλg/4ずらせば、ａ
とｂのストリップラインの長さは、λg/2の差があるこ
とになる。従って、合流点Ｑにおいては、180゜の位相
差がつき、電力の合成がこの合流点Ｑで行なうことがで
きることになる。尚、導波管４の両側面からストリップ
ラインa,bを挿入し、ストリップラインａとｂの長さは
合流点Ｑが通常の給電点Ｐ（第５図の給電点Ｐ）より、
λg/4の長さ分ずらした位置にする構成にてストリップ
ライン−導波管変換器を構成している。
かかる方法により、導波管４を放射素子1aの間に位置
させることができるため、従来のように放射素子1aを削
除する必要はない。また、本実施例で、給電用導波管４
に接する放射素子1aは導波管４による影響を受けるが、
従来の放射素子を削除したことによる電力合成（分岐）
の不整合は大幅に改善される。

尚、第３図は給電部の断面の詳細図を示し、ストリッ
プラインa,bを形成した給電回路基板２を導波管４の断
面方向に挾み込み、導波管４の開口部4aをストリップラ
インa,bが貫通するようにしている。また、良好な整合
を得るために、図中ｈを適当に選んでいる。また、導波
管４の開口形状は矩形に限らず、第４図に示すように、
円形あるいは方形でもよい。
プラインa,bを形成した給電回路基板２を導波管４の断
面方向に挾み込み、導波管４の開口部4aをストリップラ
インa,bが貫通するようにしている。また、良好な整合
を得るために、図中ｈを適当に選んでいる。また、導波
管４の開口形状は矩形に限らず、第４図に示すように、
円形あるいは方形でもよい。
［発明の効果］ 本発明は上述のように、最終の給電点のストリップラ
インが導波管の両側面から挿入され、且つ両ストリップ
ラインから導波管に入力される電力の位相差を180゜と
したストリップライン−導波管変換器を、縦横に等間隔
に形成された放射素子の間の空きスペースに形成したも
のであるから、給電点のストリップラインが導波管を貫
通する形で給電構造を得ることができ、従って、放射素
子を削除することなく給電できるため、ストリップライ
ンによる電力合成（分岐）において、不整合の少ない平
面アンテナを実現できる効果を奏するものである。

ンによる電力合成（分岐）において、不整合の少ない平
面アンテナを実現できる効果を奏するものである。

は同上の動作説明図、第３図（ａ）（ｂ）は同上の平面
図及び断面図、第４図（ａ）（ｂ）は同上の夫々導波管
の他の例を示す平面図、第５図は従来例の平面図であ
る。 １は放射回路基板、1aは放射素子、２は給電回路基板、
2aは給電線、３は接地基板、４は導波管である。

- 【請求項１】基板に形成したストリップラインを両側よ
り空隙をおいて接地基板で挟んだトリプレート構成であ
って、上記接地基板の一方に放射素子を形成し、各放射
素子へストリップラインの給電線により並列に給電する
平面アンテナにおいて、最終の結電点のストリップライ
ンが導波管の両側面から挿入され、且つ両ストリップラ
インから導波管に入力される電力の位相差を180゜とし
たストリップライン−導波管変換器を、縦横に等間隔に
形成された放射素子の間の空きスペースに形成したこと
を特徴とする平面アンテナ。
