【解決手段】本発明は、光の照射及び/または受光を行うことで車外からの情報を取得する情報取得装置が配置可能なウインドシールドであって、外側ガラス板と、内側ガラス板と、前記外側ガラス板と内側ガラス板との間に配置される中間膜と、前記外側ガラス板の車内側の面及び前記内側ガラス板の車内側の面の少なくとも一方に積層されるマスク層と、を備え、前記中間膜は、着色されたシェード領域と、透明な非シェード領域と、前記シェード領域と前記非シェード領域とに亘って形成される少なくとも1つの貫通孔にそれぞれ嵌め込まれる、透明なシート部材と、を備えている。

図2は合わせガラスの断面図である。同図に示すように、この合わせガラス10は、外側ガラス板11及び内側ガラス板12を備え、これらガラス板11、12の間に樹脂製の中間膜5が配置されている。以下、これらの構成について説明する。
まず、外側ガラス板11及び内側ガラス板12から説明する。外側ガラス板11及び内側ガラス板12は、公知のガラス板を用いることができ、熱線吸収ガラス、一般的なクリアガラスやグリーンガラス、またはUVグリーンガラスで形成することもできる。但し、これらのガラス板11、12は、自動車が使用される国の安全規格に沿った可視光線透過率を実現する必要がある。例えば、外側ガラス板11により必要な日射吸収率を確保し、内側ガラス板12により可視光線透過率が安全規格を満たすように調整することができる。以下に、クリアガラス、熱線吸収ガラス、及びソーダ石灰系ガラスの一例を示す。

熱線吸収ガラスの組成は、例えば、クリアガラスの組成を基準として、Fe2O3に換算した全酸化鉄(T-Fe2O3)の比率を0.4~1.3質量%とし、CeO2の比率を0~2質量%とし、TiO2の比率を0~0.5質量%とし、ガラスの骨格成分(主に、SiO2やAl2O3)をT-Fe2O3、CeO2およびTiO2の増加分だけ減じた組成とすることができる。

図3は、中間膜の平面図である。図3に示すように、中間膜5は、各ガラス板11,12と同じ大きさに形成されており、中間膜5の上端部を構成する帯状のシェード領域51と、このシェード領域51の下端に連結され、中間膜5の大半を占める非シェード領域52と、シェード領域51と非シェード領域52との間に配置されたシート部材8と、を備えている。
次に、マスク層4について説明する。図1及び図2に示すように、内側ガラス板12の車内側の面と外側ガラス板11の内面の両方に、マスク層4が形成される。これら内側ガラス板12及び外側ガラス板11に形成されるマスク層4は、同形状であり、且つ同じ位置に積層されているため、以下では、内側ガラス板12に積層されているマスク層4について説明する。

次に、図2及び図4を用いて、撮影装置2及び画像処理装置3を備える車載システムについて説明する。図4は、車載システムの構成を例示する。図4に例示されるように、本実施形態に係る車載システムは、上記撮影装置2と、当該撮影装置2に接続される画像処理装置3と、を備えている。
次に、ウインドシールドの製造方法について説明する。まず、所定の形状に形成された外側ガラス板11及び内側ガラス板12に、マスク層4を積層する。続いて、これらのガラス板11,12が湾曲するように成形する。この方法は、特には限定されないが、例えば、公知のプレス成形により行うことができる。あるいは、成形型上に外側ガラス板11及び内側ガラス板12を重ねて配置した後、この成形型を加熱炉を通過させて加熱する。これによって、これらのガラス板11,12を自重により湾曲させることができる。
シート部材8は、シェード領域51及び非シェード領域52の厚みと基本的には同じではあるが、例えば、シート部材8の厚みが、シェード領域51及び非シェード領域52の厚みと相違する場合には、これによって合わせガラス10の厚みに影響を及ぼすことが、本発明者により見出された。この点について、図5~図9を参照しつつ説明する。図5は図6のX-X線断面図、図6は合わせガラスの一部平面図、図7は図8のY-Y線断面図、図8は合わせガラスの一部平面図、図9は合わせガラスの一部平面図である。

以上説明したウインドシールドによれば、次のような効果を得ることができる。
(1)中間膜5にシェード領域51が形成されている場合でも、シェード領域51内に透明なシート部材8を嵌め込むことで、撮影装置2のカメラの光が通過する領域を形成することができる。したがって、シェード領域51により遮光や防眩を行いつつ、撮影装置2による撮影を支障を来さないようにすることができる。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、その趣旨を逸脱しない限りにおいて、種々の変更が可能である。なお、以下の変形例は適宜組み合わせることができる。
マスク層の形状は特には限定されず、種々の形状が可能である。すなわち、少なくとも撮影のための開口43が1以上形成されていればよく、開口の形状も特には限定されない。したがって、開口が2以上形成されていてもよい。
上記実施形態では、外側ガラス板11と内側ガラス板12のマスク層4を同じ形状にし、且つ同じ位置に形成しているが、これに限定されない。すなわち、2つのマスク層4の各開口43を通じて撮影装置2による撮影ができるのであれば、両者の形状が完全に同じでなくてもよい。また、合わせガラス10は傾斜して設置されるため、開口43の位置を傾斜に合わせても多少ずらすこともできる。また、例えば、いずれかのマスク層を、周縁部41または延在部42のいずれか一方のみにすることができる。
上記実施形態では、外側ガラス板11の車内側の面、及び内側ガラス板12の車内側の面の両方にマスク層4を形成しているが、いずれか一方でもよい。但し、例えば、外側ガラス板11の車外側の面にマスク層4を形成すると、上述した空気が車内からは視認される可能性がある。
シート部材8の形状は特には限定されず、少なくとも開口43よりも大きく形成されていればよい。また、シート部材8が配置される位置も特には限定されず、少なくとも一部がシェード領域51と重なる位置であればよい。
マスク層4の複数の開口43を形成することもできる。例えば、図11に示すように、マスク層4の延在部42に複数の開口43を形成し、各開口43に対応するように中間膜5に貫通孔50を形成するとともに、各貫通孔50にシート部材8を嵌め込むことができる。この場合、複数のカメラ、センサなどが、各開口43に対応するように配置される。
上記実施形態では、本発明の情報取得装置として、撮影装置を用いたが、これに限定されるものではなく、種々の情報取得装置を用いることができる。すなわち、車外からの情報を取得するために、光の照射及び/または受光を行うものであれば、特には限定されない。例えば、車間距離を測定するセンサ、車間距離を測定するための可視光線及び/又は赤外線カメラ、光ビーコンなどの車外からの信号を受信する受光装置、道路の白線等を画像にて読み取る可視光線及び/又は赤外線を使用したカメラなど、種々の装置に適用することができる。また、マスク層4の開口の数は、情報取得装置の種類に応じて、適宜変更することができる。例えば、光の照射、及び受光をそれぞれ専用の開口を通して行うことができる。なお、情報取得装置はガラス板に接触していても接触していなくても良い。いずれにしても、ガラス板において、情報取得装置の光が通過する領域(情報取得領域)に電熱線が形成される。
本発明においては、情報取得装置に合わせて、合わせガラスを以下のように構成することができる。
(i) 中間層(例えば、PVB)は暗く着色することができる(例えば、外側ガラス板11と内側ガラス板12はクリアガラスとすることができる)。
(ii) クリアガラスである各ガラス板11,12のFe2O3の含有量は例えば0.01~0.2wt%とすることができる。あるいは、Fe2O3の含有量が0.5wt~1wt%の着色ガラスの組み合わせ、または、Fe2O3の含有量が0.5~1.5wt%の着色ガラスとFe2O3の含有量が通常0.01~0.2wt%であるクリアガラスとの組み合わせとすることができる。
(iii) 合わせガラスの厚さは3~9mmである(各ガラス板11,12の厚さは0.7~4mmとすることができる)。
(iv) 開口43よりも大きいシート部材8が用いられる。
(v) この合わせガラスは、前側のウインドシールド、あるいは後側のリアガラスに用いることができる。
(i) 中間層(例えば、PVB)は暗く着色される(外側ガラス板11と内側ガラス板12はウルトラクリアガラスであることが好ましい)。
(ii) ウルトラクリアガラスである各ガラス板11,12のFe2O3の含有量は、例えば、0.1wt%未満であり、0.05wt%未満であることが好ましい。
(iii) 合わせガラスの厚さは3~9mm(各ガラス板11,12の厚さは0.7~4mmとすることができる)である。
(iv) 開口43よりも大きいシート部材8が用いられる。
(v) この合わせガラスは、前側のウインドシールド、あるいは後側のリアガラスに用いることができる。
(i) 中間層(例えば、PVB)は吸収による太陽光制御特性を提供する(Ttsは例えば65%未満とすることができ、60%未満であることが好ましく、55%未満であることがさらに好ましい。)
(ii) 外側ガラス板11と内側ガラス板12はウルトラクリアガラス(Fe2O3の含有量は例えば0.1wt%未満であり、0.05wt%未満であることが好ましい)とすることができる。
(iii) 合わせガラスの厚さは3~9mmである(各ガラス板11,12の厚さは0.7~4mmとすることができる)。
(iv) 開口43よりも大きいシート部材8が用いられる。
(v) この合わせガラスは、前側のウインドシールド、あるいは後側のリアガラスに用いることができる。
上記実施形態では、本発明の合わせガラスをウインドシールドとして用いたが、これ以外にもリアガラス、サイドガラス等に用いることができる。あるいは、自動車以外の車両(列車等)にも用いることができる。

Claims (23)
- 光の照射及び/または受光を行うことで車外からの情報を取得する情報取得装置が配置可能な合わせガラスであって、
外側ガラス板と、
内側ガラス板と、
前記外側ガラス板と内側ガラス板との間に配置される中間膜と、
前記外側ガラス板の車内側の面及び前記内側ガラス板の車内側の面の少なくとも一方に積層されるマスク層と、
を備え、
前記中間膜は、
着色されたシェード領域と、
透明な非シェード領域と、
前記シェード領域と前記非シェード領域とに亘って形成される少なくとも1つの貫通孔にそれぞれ嵌め込まれる、透明なシート部材と、
を備え、
前記マスク層は、前記シート部材と対応する位置に、当該シート部材の縁部よりも内側に形成される、少なくとも1つの開口を有し、
前記情報取得装置の光が前記開口を通過するように構成され、
前記シート部材の中心点における前記合わせの厚みをH1、及び前記中心点を通り水平方向に延びる仮想線上で、前記シート部材の縁部からの距離が400mmの地点における前記合わせガラスの厚みをH2と規定し、
さらに、前記開口の内縁の任意の点Aと前記シート部材の外縁において、前記点Aからの距離が最短である点B、及び前記点Aから前記点Bを通過して延びる仮想線と前記マスク層の外縁とが交差する点C、を規定したとき、
前記点Aと前記点Bとの間の距離をS1、前記点Bと前記点Cとの間の距離をS2と規定し、
H1がH2よりも大きいとき、S1+S2が最小となる箇所において、S1がS2よりも小さくなるように構成され、
H1がH2よりも小さいとき、S1+S2が最小となる箇所において、S1がS2よりも大きくなるように構成されている、合わせガラス。 - H1がH2よりも大きいとき、前記距離S2が5~50mmである、請求項1に記載の合わせガラス。
- H1がH2よりも小さいとき、前記距離S1が5~50mmである、請求項1に記載の合わせガラス。
- S1+S2は、100mm以下である、請求項2または3に記載の合わせガラス。
- 複数の前記開口が形成され、
隣接する前記開口間の最短距離が、前記各開口に係るS2の合計よりも短いとき、前記各開口と対応する前記シート部材は一体的に形成される、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。 - 前記マスク層を形成するマスク材と前記ガラス板とは、熱膨張率が相違し、
前記ガラス板と前記マスク層とはともに加熱されることで形成され、
前記マスク層の前記開口の内周縁に沿う少なくとも一部の領域には、単位面積当たりの前記マスク材が配置されている割合が少ない開口周縁領域が形成されており、
前記光は、前記開口周縁領域よりも内側の領域を通過するように構成されている、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。 - 前記開口周縁領域は、前記開口の内周縁の全周に亘って形成されている、請求項6に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記合わせガラスにおける前記開口周縁領域の内部は、当該開口周縁領域の内周縁に沿う歪領域と、当該歪領域の内側に隣接する中央領域と、から構成され、
前記光は、前記中央領域の全部または一部を通過するように構成されている、請求項6または7に記載の合わせガラス。 - 前記歪領域の幅は、6mm以下である、請求項8に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記開口周縁領域は、前記マスク材で形成された複数のマスク片を備えており、
前記複数のマスク片は互いに間隔をあけて配置されている、請求項6から9のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。 - 前記各マスク片は、円形状に形成されている、請求項10に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記マスク片は、千鳥状に配置されている、請求項10または11に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記マスク層の少なくとも一部は黒色である、請求項6から12のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記マスク層、開口周辺領域、及び歪領域において、前記情報取得装置が取付けられる領域の少なくとも一部には、電磁波遮蔽膜が形成されている、請求項6から13のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記マスク層、開口周辺領域、及び歪領域の少なくとも一部は、第1の視野遮蔽膜、前記電磁波遮蔽膜、及び第2の視野遮蔽膜が、車外側から車内側へこの順で配置されていることで構成されている、請求項14に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記シート部材は、一辺が100mm正方形よりも大きく、一辺が300mmの正方形よりも小さい、請求項1から15のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記中間膜は、複数の層により構成されている、請求項1から16のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記中間膜は、少なくとも、コア層と,当該コア層を挟む一対のアウター層と、を有し、
前記コア層のヤング率が、20℃、100Hzにおいて20MPa以下である、請求項17に記載の合わせガラス。 - 2~4個の前記貫通孔が形成され、前記各貫通孔に前記シート部材が嵌め込まれている、請求項1から18のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- 上下方向の断面が、楔形に形成されている、請求項1から19のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記外側ガラス板の厚みが前記内側ガラス板の厚みよりも小さい、請求項1から20のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- ウインドシールドとして用いられる、請求項1から21のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
- リアガラスとして用いられる、請求項1から22のいずれかに記載の合わせガラス。
