Abstract

To provide exercise clothing with high strength that can be worn in daily life.
[Solution] This exercise wear includes a main body having a body with a front body and a back body, sleeves with a left sleeve and a right sleeve provided on the body, a first collar provided on the main body along the neckline, and a second collar provided on the inside of the main body. Description

The present invention relates to exercise clothing.

Patent Document 1 discloses a sashiko-woven fabric product made by weaving sashiko threads into a fabric in an appropriate direction and exposing the sashiko threads at a rate of 1 cm2 or more per ^{4 cm2} of planar surface area of the lining, and sewing this fabric.

Utility Model Registration No. 3144913

The invention described in Patent Document 1 gives examples of cloth products that can be used in daily life, such as shirts, jackets, trousers, and hats. However, the invention described in Patent Document 1 aims to prevent cloth products from sticking to the skin or innerwear by changing the exposed ratio of sashiko threads, and does not make use of the strength of sashiko weaving.

The present invention was made in consideration of these circumstances, and aims to provide high-strength exercise clothing that can be worn in everyday life.

In order to solve the above problems, the athletic wear according to the present invention comprises, for example, a main body having a body with a front body and a back body, sleeves having a left sleeve and a right sleeve provided on the body, a first collar provided on the main body along the neckline, and a second collar provided inside the main body, the first collar being formed in a strip shape, the second collar being sewn to the main body at a collar seam disposed away from the first collar, the third collar being an area between the first collar and the neckline of the main body and the collar seam being provided overlapping the second collar, the second collar being formed of a stretchable fabric, and the first collar and the third collar being formed of a non-stretchable fabric. This makes it possible to provide athletic wear that is strong enough to be worn in daily life. Therefore, it is possible to practice martial arts while wearing it in daily life without changing clothes.

The width of the third collar portion may be wider than the width of the first collar portion in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the first collar portion. This allows the wearer to grasp the third collar portion when practicing martial arts such as judo and aikido, in which the wearer grasps the uniform to perform techniques.

The width of the third collar portion may be one to two times the width of the first collar portion on a line along the center of the back body. The belt-like region may include a first belt-like region adjacent to the first collar of the back body and extending across the width of the back body, a second belt-like region on the left sleeve, and a third belt-like region on the right sleeve. This makes it easier to practice martial arts such as judo and aikido, in which the wearer grabs the gi and applies techniques.

It is possible to provide athletic clothing that is strong enough to be worn in everyday life.

The following describes an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings. The athletic wear of the present invention can be worn during daily life and training such as running, and can also be used to practice martial arts. In the present invention, martial arts includes judo, karate, Shorinji Kempo, aikido, taido, taekwondo, jujutsu, etc., but is particularly suitable for judo, aikido, and jujutsu, which involve grabbing the opponent and applying techniques. The following describes the athletic wear of the present invention using judo as an example.

First Embodiment
Fig. 1 is a front view showing an outline of an exercise garment 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a rear view showing an outline of the exercise garment 1. In the following description, front, back, left and right are based on the wearer.

The exercise garment 1 mainly comprises a body 70 having a front body 10 and a back body 20, a main body 80 having a sleeve 75 having a left sleeve 40 and a right sleeve 50, a collar 30 (corresponding to the first collar of the present invention), and a collar 60 (corresponding to the second collar of the present invention). The collar 60 is provided on the inside of the main body 80.

The front body 10 has a main body 11 mainly made of sashiko-woven fabric, side sections 12 made of stretchy fabric (hereafter referred to as stretchy fabric), and a stretchy hem section 13. The back body 20 has a main body 21 mainly made of sashiko-woven fabric, side sections 22 made of stretchy fabric, and a stretchy hem section 23.

The main body 11, 21 are included in a first region made of sashiko-woven fabric (non-stretch fabric), and the side regions 12, 22 are included in a second region made of a fabric different from the fabric used in the first region.

Sashiko weaving is a type of fabric made by weaving warp and weft threads of different thicknesses in a raised pattern, and is used for judo uniforms and other products. Figure 13 shows an outline of sashiko weaving fabric, with (A) being the front and (B) being the back. In sashiko weaving, thick threads (sashiko threads) are staggered, and both the front and back have unevenness due to the sashiko threads. Because sashiko weaving fabric uses sashiko threads, it is thick, strong, and has no elasticity. Sashiko weaving fabric is one type of fabric that does not have elasticity (hereinafter referred to as non-elastic fabric). However, sashiko weaving fabric is the most preferred type of non-elastic fabric, as it is a high-strength yet soft fabric.

The side sections 12, 22 are made of stretch fabric (e.g., jersey fabric) and are arranged along the sides. Sashiko-woven fabric is stronger than stretch fabric.

The armpits 12, 22 are sewn to the main body parts 11, 21, respectively. The front body 10 and the back body 20 are sewn together at the armpits 12, 22, and the armpits 12, 22 form a continuous area. In this embodiment, the armpits 12, 22 are strip-shaped, but the position and shape of the armpits 12, 22 are not limited to this. By forming the armpits 12, 22 from a stretchy fabric, the exercise garment 1 is comfortable to wear whether worn in daily life or during training such as strength training or running.

The hem openings 13, 23 are areas located near the hem and have elasticity. The hem openings 13, 23 are formed, for example, by ribbing, and are sewn to the main body portions 11, 21, respectively. However, the hem openings 13, 23 are not essential. Furthermore, the width of the hem openings 13, 23 is not limited to this.

The left sleeve 40 has a sleeve body 41 made mainly of sashiko-woven fabric, a sleeve lower part 42 made of stretch fabric, and a stretchable cuff 43. The right sleeve 50 has a sleeve body 51 made mainly of sashiko-woven fabric, a sleeve lower part 52 made of stretch fabric, and a stretchable cuff 53.

The sleeve body parts 41, 51 are included in a first region made of sashiko-woven fabric (non-stretch fabric), and the sleeve lower parts 42, 52 are included in a second region made of a fabric different from the fabric used in the first region.

The sleeve lower parts 42, 52 are made of stretchy fabric and are sewn to both sides of the sleeve main parts 41, 51, respectively. The sleeve main parts 41, 51 are folded along a center line along the longitudinal direction, and the sleeve lower parts 42, 52 on both sides of the sleeve main parts 41, 51 are sewn together, so that the left sleeve part 40 and the right sleeve part 50 become tubular. By making the sleeve lower parts 42, 52 out of stretchy fabric, bending and straightening the elbows becomes easier, and the athletic garment 1 is comfortable to wear in everyday life. In addition, it is easy to train while wearing the athletic garment 1.

In the exercise garment 1 of this embodiment, the armpits 12, 22 and the underarms 42, 52 are a continuous area. This makes it easier to lift the arms up, and the exercise garment 1 is comfortable to wear when worn during strength training.

The cuffs 43, 53 are areas located near the cuffs and have elasticity. The hem sections 13, 23 are formed, for example, by ribbing, and are sewn to the sleeve body sections 41, 51 and the lower sleeve sections 42, 52, respectively. However, the cuffs 43, 53 are not essential. Furthermore, the width of the cuffs 43, 53 is not limited to this.

The left sleeve portion 40 and the right sleeve portion 50 are sewn to the body 70. When the left sleeve portion 40 and the right sleeve portion 50 are attached to the body 70, the sleeve lower portions 42, 52 are provided along the underarm portion.

The seam 92 between the left sleeve 40 and the body 70 and the seam 93 between the right sleeve 50 and the body 70 are in contact with the collar 30 on the shoulder side. That is, the collar 30 is provided on the left sleeve 40 and the right sleeve 50 in addition to the front body 10 and the back body 20. In the present invention, a seam refers to a part that is sewn together. The seam is also illustrated by a dotted line.

Therefore, each of the sleeve main bodies 41, 51 includes a band-like region 71b, 71c made of a non-stretchable fabric extending from the boundary with the collar 30 (neckline 94) toward the cuff.
The back body 20 also has a band-like region 71a adjacent to the collar 30 and extending across the back body 20 in the width direction. The band-like regions 71a, 71b, and 71c are continuous and form a continuous band-like region 71. The two-dot chain lines in the figure are imaginary lines indicating the band-like regions 71a, 71b, and 71c.

Next, the collars 30 and 60 will be described. Figure 3 is a partially enlarged view showing an outline of the athletic wear 1 as seen from the front. Figure 4 is a partially enlarged view showing an outline of the athletic wear 1 as seen from the back. Figure 5 is a partially enlarged view showing an outline of the athletic wear 1 as seen from the side.

The collar 30 is made of a non-stretchable fabric and is formed in a strip shape, and is provided along the neckline 94 of the main body 80. In the present invention, the neckline refers to the hollow around the neck.

The collar 60 is made of stretch fabric. The collar 60 mainly has a main body 61, a tubular portion 62, and a hat portion 63. The main body 61 and the tubular portion 62 are sewn together with a seam 95. The tubular portion 62 is a so-called high neck that follows the neck. The main body 61 and the hat portion 63 are also sewn together with a seam 95.

Note that the tubular portion 62 and hat portion 63 are not essential. For example, the collar portion 60 may be only the main body portion 61 with the seam 95 as the neckline.

The collar 60 is sewn to the main body 80 at a seam 91 (corresponding to the collar seam of the present invention) located away from the collar 30. Hereinafter, the area between the seam 91 and the neckline 94 of the main body 80 is referred to as the collar 81 (corresponding to the third collar of the present invention). The collar 30 and the collar 81 are provided overlapping the collar 60. The collar 81 is a part of the main body 11, 21 and the sleeve main body 41, 51, and is made of a non-stretchable fabric.

In a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the collar 30, the width w2 of the collar 81 is wider than the width w1 of the collar 30 (see FIG. 3). Also, on a line along the rear center 20ax, which is the center of the back body 20, the width w3 of the collar 81 is 1 to 2 times the width w1 of the collar 30 (see FIG. 6).

Figure 6 is a schematic diagram showing the left side portion (left collar 81a) of the collar 81 opened. Because the left collar 81a overlaps with the collar 60, the left collar 81a can be opened around the seam 91. This allows the opponent to grab the left collar 81a when practicing judo (the same applies to martial arts such as aikido in which techniques are applied by grabbing the uniform, etc., and the same applies below). In addition, the width from the seam 91 of the left collar 81a and collar 30 (hereinafter simply referred to as the left collar 81a) away from the collar 60 is the sum of width w1 and width w2, and because this width is wide, it is easy for the opponent to grab the left collar 81a.

Although not shown in the figures, the right side portion of the collar 81 (right collar 81b) can be opened around the seam 91 in the same way as the left collar 81a, allowing the opponent to grab the right collar 81b during judo practice. In addition, the width of the right collar 81b away from the collar 60 and the collar 30 (hereinafter simply referred to as the right collar 81b) from the seam 91 is the sum of width w1 and width w2, and since this width is wide, it is easy for the opponent to grab the right collar 81b.

In particular, by making the width w2 of the collar 81 wider than the width w1 of the collar 30, it is possible to provide a sufficient width for the other person to grasp the left collar 81a or the right collar 81b.

Figure 7 is a schematic diagram showing the back side portion of the collar 81 (rear collar 81c) opened. Because the rear collar 81c overlaps with the collar 60, the rear collar 81c can be opened around the seam 91. This allows the opponent to grab the rear collar 81c during judo practice. In addition, the width of the rear collar 81c and collar 30 (hereafter simply referred to as the rear collar 81c) from the seam 91 away from the collar 60 is the sum of width w1 and width w3, and because this width is wide, it is easy for the opponent to grab the rear collar 81c. In addition, by making width w3 1 to 2 times the width w1 of the collar 30, wider than width w2, it is possible to easily grab the rear collar 81c, which is difficult to see.

According to this embodiment, the garment can be worn in daily life as a normal Western garment. In addition, because the collars 30, 81 are made of sashiko-woven fabric, the strength of the athletic wear 1 can be increased. Furthermore, because the collar 60 is sewn to the inside of the main body 80 with seams 91 and the collars 30, 81 are overlapped with the collar 60, when practicing judo, the opponent can grab the left collar 81a, right collar 81b, or inner collar 81c to apply techniques, etc. In other words, the athletic wear 1 can be worn in daily life while practicing martial arts without having to change clothes.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the sleeve main body portions 41, 51 are formed from sashiko-woven fabric, which increases the strength of the athletic wear 1. Furthermore, since the sleeve main body portions 41, 51 include band-shaped regions 71b, 71c extending from the neckline 94 toward the cuffs, when an opponent pulls on the collar portion 30, 81 during judo practice, the athletic wear 1 moves in the direction of the pull, and the wearer of the athletic wear 1 moves in response. In other words, the athletic wear 1 can be worn in everyday life while practicing martial arts without having to change clothes.

In particular, by forming the continuous belt-like region 71 with the belt-like regions 71a, 71b, and 71c, when an opponent pulls on one of the sleeve main bodies 41, 51 during judo practice, the other sleeve main body 41, 51 moves, i.e., the entire sportswear 1 moves, and the wearer of the sportswear 1 can move accordingly. This makes it easier to practice applying techniques, making the sportswear 1 suitable for martial arts practice.

In this embodiment, sashiko-woven fabric is used as the non-stretchable fabric, but the non-stretchable fabric is not limited to sashiko-woven fabric. For example, the non-stretchable fabric may be canvas used for karate uniforms.

In addition, in this embodiment, the main body 11, 21 and the sleeve main body 41, 51 are made of sashiko-woven fabric (non-stretch fabric), and the armpits 12, 22 and the underarms 42, 52 are made of stretch fabric, but the form of the main body 80 is not limited to this. For example, the body 70 and sleeves 75 may be entirely made of non-stretch fabric except for the cuffs 43, 53, or entirely made of non-stretch fabric except for the hem 13, 23, or entirely made of non-stretch fabric except for the hem 13, 23 and the cuff 43, 53. By increasing the area of non-stretch fabric, the athletic wear becomes suitable for martial arts practice.

Furthermore, the shapes and sizes of the armpits 12, 22 and the underarms 42, 52 are not limited to these. Figures 8 and 9 are schematic diagrams of modified exercise garments 1A and 1B, where (A) is a front view and (B) is a back view.

As shown in Fig. 8, the exercise garment 1A mainly comprises a body 70A having a front body 10A and a back body 20A, a main body 80A having a sleeve 75A having a left sleeve 40A and a right sleeve 50A, a collar 30, and a collar 60. The front body 10A and the back body 20A mainly comprise main body 11A, 21A (first region) made of sashiko fabric, armpit 12A, 22A (second region) made of stretch fabric, and stretchable hem 13, 23. The left sleeve 40A and the right sleeve 50A mainly comprise sleeve main body 41A, 51A (first region) made of sashiko fabric, underarm 42A, 52A (second region) made of stretch fabric, and stretchable cuff 43, 53. The armpits 12A, 22A and the underarms 42A, 52A are wider than the armpits 12, 22 and the underarms 42, 52, respectively. The sleeve body 41A, 51A also includes a cylindrical portion 41a, 51a provided near the cuff. By having the cylindrical portion 41a, 51a, the sleeve 75A does not stretch even if an opponent grabs and pulls under the sleeve during judo practice, making it easier to practice.

As shown in FIG. 9, the exercise garment 1B mainly comprises a body 70B having a front body 10B and a back body 20B, a main body 80B having a sleeve 75B having a left sleeve 40B and a right sleeve 50B, a collar 30, and a collar 60. The front body 10B and the back body 20B mainly comprise main body 11B, 21B (second region) made of stretchy fabric, upper portion 14, 24 (first region) made of sashiko-woven fabric, and stretchy hem 13, 23. The upper portion 14 is the region between the seam 91 and the neckline 94, and overlaps with the collar 81. The upper portion 24 is provided in a strip-like shape on the upper side of the main body 21A, and includes the collar 81.

The left sleeve portion 40B and the right sleeve portion 50B mainly have sleeve main body portions 41B, 51B (first region) made of sashiko-woven fabric, sleeve underparts 42B, 52B (second region) made of stretch fabric, and stretchable cuff portions 43, 53. The sleeve underparts 42A, 52A have a larger area than the sleeve underparts 42, 52. The sleeve main body portions 41B, 51B also include tubular portions 41b, 51b provided near the cuffs. The tubular portions 41b, 51b are wider than the tubular portions 41a, 51a.

In this way, athletic wear 1A, 1B can be worn in daily life as ordinary Western clothing, just like athletic wear 1. Furthermore, because collars 30, 81 and belt-like region 71 are made of sashiko-woven fabric, athletic wear 1A, 1B can be made strong. Furthermore, when an opponent pulls on collars 30, 81 during judo practice, athletic wear 1A, 1B moves in the direction of the pull, and the wearer of athletic wear 1 moves in response.

Furthermore, since the athletic wear 1A, 1B has the tubular portions 41a, 51a made of sashiko-woven fabric, even if an opponent grabs and pulls the underarm area near the cuff during judo practice, the cuffs do not stretch, making it easier to apply techniques. In other words, the athletic wear 1A, 1B can be worn in everyday life while practicing martial arts without having to change clothes.

In addition, by increasing the area of the portion made of stretchable fabric, as in the case of exercise clothing 1B, exercise clothing 1B is comfortable to wear in everyday life.

Second Embodiment
An athletic wear 2 according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The athletic wear 2 does not have a collar 60 provided on the inside of a main body 80. The same parts as those in the athletic wear 1 are given the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.

Figure 10 is a front view showing an outline of the exercise garment 2 according to the second embodiment of the present invention. Figure 11 is a rear view showing an outline of the exercise garment 2. Figure 13 is a side view showing an outline of the exercise garment 2.

The exercise garment 2 mainly comprises a body 70C having a front body 10C and a back body 20C, a main body 80C having a sleeve 75C having a left sleeve 40C and a right sleeve 50C, and a collar 30A (corresponding to the first collar of the present invention).

The front body 10C mainly has a main body portion 11C formed from the second fabric and an upper portion 14A formed from the first fabric. The back body 20C mainly has a main body portion 21C formed from the second fabric and an upper portion 24A formed from the first fabric. The upper portions 14A and 24A are included in the first region of the present invention, and the main body portions 11C and 21C are included in the second region of the present invention.

The left sleeve portion 40C mainly comprises a sleeve body portion 41C formed from a first fabric, and a sleeve under portion 42C formed from a second fabric. The right sleeve portion 50C mainly comprises a sleeve body portion 51C formed from a first fabric, and a sleeve under portion 52C formed from a second fabric. The sleeve body portions 41C, 51C are included in the first region of the present invention, and the sleeve under portion 42C, 52C are included in the second region of the present invention.

In this embodiment, the first fabric is a sashiko-woven fabric, and the second fabric is a thin plain-woven fabric, but the first and second fabrics are not limited to this. However, it is essential that the first fabric is a non-stretchable fabric and that the first fabric has higher strength than the second fabric. The second fabric may be a stretchable or non-stretchable fabric. Specifically, the first fabric may be a sashiko-woven fabric and the second fabric may be a stretchable fabric, or the first fabric may be canvas and the second fabric may be a thin plain-woven fabric, or the first fabric may be canvas and the second fabric may be a stretchable fabric. In addition, strength can be expressed by the value of tensile strength, and the first fabric being stronger than the second fabric means that the tensile strength value of the first fabric is higher than the tensile strength value of the second fabric. The tensile test of the fabric can be performed using a method specified in JIS L 1096 (Fabric test method for woven and knitted fabrics).

The athletic wear 2 has a front body 10C, a left sleeve 40C, and a right sleeve 50C that are integrated, and a back body 20C, a left sleeve 40C, and a right sleeve 50C that are integrated. Specifically, the upper parts 14A, 24A and the sleeve body 41C are integrated, and the upper parts 14A, 24A and the sleeve body 51C are integrated, with no armhole seams. Furthermore, the upper parts 14A and 24A are integrated, with no shoulder seams. Therefore, even if an opponent pulls on the sleeve 75C or collar 30A during judo practice, the seams will not tear, and the garment is strong.

The main body 80C (including the upper parts 14A, 24A and the sleeve main body parts 41C, 51C) includes a band-shaped region 71 made of non-stretchable fabric from the neckline to the cuffs. Therefore, when the sleeve part 75C or the collar part 30A is pulled, the exercise garment 2 moves in the direction of pulling, and the wearer of the exercise garment 2 moves in response.

The upper portion 24A may be divided and sewn together at or near the rear center 20ax, which is the center of the rear body 20C.

The sleeve lower parts 42C, 52C are made of stretch fabric and are sewn to both sides of the sleeve main body parts 41C, 51C, respectively. The left sleeve part 40C and the right sleeve part 50C are made cylindrical by folding the sleeve main body parts 41C, 51C at a center line along the longitudinal direction and sewing the sleeve lower parts 42C, 52C on both sides of the sleeve main body parts 41C, 51C. The sleeve lower parts 42C, 52C are sewn to the main body parts 11C, 21C with seams 97, 98, respectively.
