Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a pet brush.

Patent document 1 states, "A pet brush including a handle portion for a user to grip, and a brush portion connected to the handle portion for brushing pet hair, the brush portion including a base plate, a brush bristle array consisting of a plurality of brush bristles extending from the base plate in an upright state, and a brush cap connected to the base plate and surrounding the brush bristle array, the brush cap being characterized in that the height of the brush cap is made higher than the height of the brush bristles, so that when the brush cap comes into contact with the pet's skin for brushing, a closed space is formed inside the brush cap. JP 2022-543831 A

According to the pet brush described in Patent Document 1, when brushing a pet's hair, hair that falls off the skin during brushing can be trapped inside the brush, preventing it from scattering outside the brush.

However, the pet brush described in Patent Document 1 does not take into consideration the odor and cleanliness of pets. Therefore, in order to keep the odor and cleanliness of the pet's body, it is necessary to clean the pet with pet shampoo in addition to daily brushing care, which poses the problem of time-consuming pet care.

The present invention was made to solve the above problems, and aims to provide a pet brush that reduces the effort involved in grooming and shampooing pets, making pet care easier.

The pet brush according to the first aspect of the present invention is characterized in that it comprises a storage section for storing alkaline ionized water and a brush section, the brush section being formed with an outlet for discharging the alkaline ionized water to the outside of the brush section, and a pipeline for the alkaline ionized water is formed that connects the storage section to the outlet.

Preferably, the brush portion includes a base and a comb tooth body having multiple comb teeth protruding from the base, and the outlet is formed on the periphery of the comb teeth, and is not formed at the tip of the comb teeth.

Preferably, the device further includes a fixed amount outflow mechanism for causing the alkaline ionized water to flow out of the storage section in a fixed amount.

The pet brush of the present invention reduces the effort involved in grooming and shampooing pets, making pet care easier.

First Embodiment
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing a pet brush according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

The pet brush 10 shown in FIG. 1 has a handle portion 20 and a brush portion 30.

The gripping part 20 is constructed using a hollow, approximately cylindrical bottle with an open top end. When alkaline ionized water is poured into the gripping part 20, the alkaline ionized water is stored in the internal space of the gripping part 20. Thus, the gripping part 20 also serves as a storage part 21 for alkaline ionized water.

Preferably, the grip portion 20 is made of a material and hardness that allows elastic deformation so that the user can squeeze the grip portion 20 to push out the alkaline ionized water stored inside. As an example, the average grip strength by age for adult women in their 70s is around 22 kg, so if the grip portion 20 can be deformed at less than 22 kg, it will be easier to use for users of a wide range of ages.

The brush unit 30 includes a base 31 and a comb tooth body 32 having a plurality of comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n protruding from the base 31. The bottom surface 33 of the brush unit 30 is open. A conduit 40 that communicates with the opening of the bottom surface 33 is formed inside the base 31 and each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n. The conduit 40 is shown by a dotted line in Figure 1.

When the pet brush 10 is a combing brush for combing pet hair, the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n have a degree of hardness that allows them to maintain their shape against the resistance when combing the pet's hair.

The axial direction of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n of the brush part 30 is formed in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the grip part 20, but as shown in the second embodiment described later, both axial directions may be oriented in the same direction.

Figure 2 is an exploded view showing a pet brush according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 2, the grip portion 20 and the brush portion 30 are constructed separately. A screw groove 29 is formed at the upper end of the grip portion 20, and a screw thread 39 is formed at the lower end of the inner surface of the brush portion 30. When the screw thread 39 and the screw groove 29 are screwed together to attach the brush portion 30 to the grip portion 20, the storage portion 21 and the pipeline 40 are connected.

The grip part 20 and the brush part 30 are constructed separately, making it easy to replace the brush part 30 and grip part 20.

Figure 3 shows an example of a brush unit.

The brush part 30a shown in FIG. 3 has a conduit 40 formed inside each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n, and an outlet 41 is formed in each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n. The conduit 40 connects the storage part 21 formed inside the grip part 20 to the outlet 41.

The outlet 41 is provided on the peripheral surface of each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n along the axial direction of each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n. The number of outlets 41 provided on each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n may be single or multiple, and is not limited to the example in FIG. 3. In addition, outlets 41 may not be provided on all of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n, and some of the comb teeth may be provided with outlets 41.

By forming the outlet 41 on the circumferential surface of each comb tooth 321, 322, ..., 32n instead of on the tip, the alkaline ionized water flowing out of the pet brush 10 adheres to the pet's hair but is less likely to adhere to the skin.

Figure 4 shows another example of the brush section.

The brush part 30a shown in FIG. 4 does not have a duct 40 formed inside each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n, but has an outlet 41 formed on the root surface of each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n in the base part 31. The duct 40 connects the reservoir part 21 formed inside the grip part 20 with the outlet 41.

By forming the outlet 41 in the base 31, the alkaline ionized water flowing out of the pet brush 10 adheres to the pet's hair but is less likely to adhere to the skin.

In addition, providing the outlet 41 in the base 31 has the advantage that it is easier to manufacture than providing the outlet 41 in each of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n.

According to this embodiment, alkaline ionized water can be applied to a pet's hair while brushing it with the pet brush 10. Since alkaline ionized water has deodorizing and sterilizing effects, the effects of the alkaline ionized water can deodorize and sterilize the hair while brushing it. Therefore, the daily brushing action not only grooms the hair, but also deodorizes and sterilizes it, which is expected to reduce the effort required for pet care.

Also, since alkaline ionized water itself does not contain surfactants or detergents, it is expected to be less likely to cause allergies.

Second Embodiment
The second embodiment relates to a pet brush that allows alkaline ionized water to flow as evenly as possible without excessive discharge. Since the viscosity of alkaline ionized water is almost equal to that of water, there is a concern that if the user squeezes the bottle to allow the water to flow as in the first embodiment, more alkaline ionized water than expected will flow out. Therefore, the second embodiment is provided with a fixed amount flow mechanism that allows the alkaline ionized water to flow out of the storage unit in a fixed amount, and the amount of alkaline ionized water that flows out is controlled.

Figure 5 is an explanatory diagram showing a pet brush according to a second embodiment of the present invention. In Figure 5, a positive pressure alkaline ionized water bottle and a switch for opening and closing it are used as the constant quantity flow mechanism.

The pet brush 50a shown in FIG. 5 uses an alkaline ionized water bottle 60a, which contains alkaline ionized water sealed under positive pressure, as a gripping part. The alkaline ionized water bottle 60a is equipped with an opening and closing plug 62.

The axial direction of the comb teeth 721, 722, ..., 72n of the brush portion 70a is oriented in the same direction as the axial direction of the alkaline ionized water bottle 60a, but as in the first embodiment, the axial direction of the comb teeth 721, 722, ..., 72n may be perpendicular to the axial direction of the alkaline ionized water bottle 60a.

The brush section 70a also includes a switch 72 that switches the opening and closing of the opening and closing valve 62. The bottle can is opened only while the switch 72 is ON, and the alkaline ionized water sealed inside is sprayed out by positive pressure. When the switch 72 is turned OFF, the bottle can is closed and the flow of alkaline ionized water stops. This allows the user to flow the alkaline ionized water as needed.

Alkaline ionized water has a relatively low viscosity, similar to water, so the diameter of the pipe 40 can be made relatively small according to the outflow rate to eliminate concerns about excessive outflow. Even if the diameter of the pipe 40 is made small, the pipe 40 is unlikely to become clogged because the viscosity of alkaline ionized water is low and because the main component of alkaline ionized water is water, it all evaporates.

Figure 6 is an explanatory diagram showing another example of a pet brush according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In Figure 6, an electric pump is used as the constant volume outflow mechanism.

The pet brush 50b shown in Figure 6 uses the hollow bottle shown in the first embodiment as the handle 20.

In the brush part 70b shown in FIG. 6, the comb teeth 721, 722, ..., 72n have an axial direction that faces the same direction as the axial direction of the grip part 20, similar to the brush part 70a in FIG. 5, but as in the first embodiment, the axial direction of the comb teeth 721, 722, ..., 72n may be perpendicular to the axial direction of the grip part 20.

The brush section 70b also has an electric pump 74, a battery 75, and a switch 76 mounted on the base 71. When the switch 76 is turned ON, the electric pump 74 is powered by the battery and discharges a fixed amount of alkaline ionized water per hour. When the switch 76 is turned OFF, the flow of alkaline ionized water stops. This allows the alkaline ionized water to flow out of the electric pump 74 at a fixed amount, preventing excessive discharge of alkaline ionized water.

As another example (not shown), a sprayer (spray head) may be attached to a bottle can filled with alkaline ionized water, and a brush may be integrally formed with the spray head. The alkaline ionized water may then be sprayed in a spray-like manner in the axial direction from the base to the tip of the comb teeth of the brush. With this alternative example, the alkaline ionized water can be sprayed in a spray-like manner while brushing, even if the device is not battery-powered.

<Configuration and Effects of the Embodiment>
The pet brush according to the above embodiment comprises a storage section 21 for storing alkaline ionized water, and a brush section 30. The brush section 30 is formed with an outlet 41 for discharging the alkaline ionized water to the outside of the brush, and a pipeline 40 for alkaline ionized water is formed connecting the storage section 21 to the outlet 41.

With this configuration, you can groom your pet while spraying alkaline ionized water, and the effects of the alkaline ionized water can deodorize and disinfect your pet while brushing it, reducing the effort required for pet care.

The brush part 30 also includes a base 31 and a comb tooth body 32 having a plurality of comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n protruding from the base 31, and the outlet 41 is formed on the circumferential surface of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n, but not at the tips of the comb teeth 321, 322, ..., 32n.

This configuration allows alkaline ionized water to adhere to your pet's fur while preventing the alkaline ionized water from coming into direct contact with your pet's skin.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, an outlet 41 may be formed at the tip of the comb teeth of the brush part 30, and alkaline ionized water may be configured to flow out from the tip of the brush part 30.

In addition, in the above figure, the brush part 30 is shown as an example in which multiple comb teeth are arranged in a row, but the brush may have multiple rows of comb teeth arranged in multiple stages.

The structure, materials, connections between components, chemical substances, etc. of the present invention can be modified in various ways without departing from the spirit of the invention.

Materials can be freely selected from metal, plastic, etc.

For example, it is possible to combine two or more components into one, or conversely, it is possible to construct one component from two or more separate components and connect them together.

The above embodiment is merely one of the best forms currently available.
