Abstract

To provide a compact and lightweight portable table for outdoor use which can be stored in a thin shape, can be assembled easily, and can be used for various purposes by changing a type of the top plate since the leg and the top plate are separated.SOLUTION: A top plate 2 consists of a first top plate part and a second top plate part which are connected through a hinge part. The first top plate part and the second top plate part form an angle of 0-180°. In a leg 3, two thin plate parts; that is, a first thin plate part and a second thin plate part formed of deflectable materials, are connected at the central part of each thin plate part. The first thin plate part and the second thin plate part include pawl parts 6a and 6b on the right and left sides of a side on the upper side of each thin plate part. At the time of assembly, the leg is placed on the ground and the top plate is hooked on the pawl parts in a state that the top plate is slightly opened. When the leg and the top plate are smoothly spread simultaneously, the leg is gradually deformed substantially into an X-shape. The pawl parts stop at locking parts of the first top plate part and the second top plate part while sliding. The present invention relates to a small portable table and portable legs for outdoor use at campsites and other outdoor locations.

Small portable tables for outdoor use are required to be lightweight, thin, and easy to fold. However, conventional legs made by bending wires three-dimensionally are bulky when stored. Patent Document 1 describes a portable table in which the top and legs are connected in a removable manner, but the legs are composed of two sets of parallel legs and a crosspiece connecting them, which makes the table bulky when stored and not lightweight.
Additionally, there are portable tables on the market that use thin boards for the legs, but while these are thin and easy to store, they are complicated to assemble, requiring bolts and nuts.
Therefore, there was a demand for a system that was both easy to assemble all at once and compact enough to store.

Furthermore, while small outdoor tables are highly portable, the surface area on which items can be placed is limited. This inconvenience becomes particularly evident when placing a cutting board on a small table while cooking outdoors. For example, if you place a cutting board on a small table, you cannot place other items on it, and you have to remove all items from the table at once, which is an inconvenience.
