MgO、CaO、ZnO、BaO及びSrOのうちの少なくとも1つ;および
0.5モル%〜11モル%のP2O5;を含み、
ただし0.5モル%≦MgO(モル%)+CaO(モル%)+ZnO(モル%)+BaO(モル%)+SrO(モル%)≦4モル%;

12モル%〜16モル%のNa2Oを含む、請求項1から4いずれか1項に記載のガラス。 - 前記ガラスは、MgOとZnOを含み、0.5モル%≦MgO(モル%)+ZnO(モル%)≦4モル%である、請求項1から5いずれか1項に記載のガラス。
- 前記ガラスは、酸化カルシウム、酸化バリウム及び酸化ストロンチウムを含まない、請求項1から6いずれか1項に記載のガラス。
- 前記ガラスは、410℃〜470℃の温度で、2時間から5時間の範囲の間、KNO3を含むイオン交換浴でイオン交換されたとき、少なくとも10kgf(約98.1N)のビッカース割れ開始閾値を有する、請求項1から7いずれか1項に記載のガラス。
- 請求項1〜8いずれか1項に記載のガラスから作られたイオン交換されたガラスであって、前記ガラスの表面から少なくとも45μmの層深さまで延在する、圧縮応力を有する圧縮層を有するイオン交換されたガラス。
- 前記圧縮層が、少なくとも900MPaの圧縮応力を有する、請求項9に記載のイオン交換されたガラス。
- 少なくとも10kgf(約98.1N)のビッカース割れ開始閾値を有する、請求項9に記載のイオン交換されたガラス。
- ガラスをイオン交換する方法であって、
a.KNO3を含み、410℃〜470℃の範囲の温度にあるイオン交換浴を提供するステップ;並びに
b.前記ガラスを、最高4時間の期間に亘って、前記イオン交換浴中でイオン交換するステップであって、イオン交換された前記ガラスは、圧縮応力下の層を有し、前記層は前記ガラスの表面から少なくとも45μmの層深さまで延在するステップを含み、前記ガラスは請求項1〜8いずれか1項に記載のガラスからなる、ガラスをイオン交換する方法。 - 前記イオン交換されたガラスが、少なくとも900MPaの圧縮応力を有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記イオン交換されたガラスは、少なくとも10kgf(約98.1N)のビッカース割れ開始閾値を有する、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- ディスプレイ;および
前記ディスプレイを覆う保護カバーを備え、
前記保護カバーが請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のガラスからなる電子装置。
