Description

The present invention relates to a technique for attaching a tape, and more particularly to a tape attaching device for attaching a band-shaped edging tape to an edge of a sheet-shaped member.

Conventionally, for example, a strip-shaped edging tape for decoration or reinforcement on the edge of a sheet-like member, such as a square colored paper or a long frame constituting a body or a lid of a heavy paper box. Is known to have been affixed to it. It takes skill to manually attach the edging tape to the rim of the sheet-shaped member so as not to shift, and it is difficult to mass-produce the target product. Therefore, the rim of a plurality of sheet-shaped members A configuration of a tape attaching device for continuously attaching a band-shaped edging tape to a band is known.

As a conventional tape attaching device, for example, as disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, a sheet-shaped member is provided in a transport path while being transported in a direction along an edge portion by a transport portion. A series of edging tapes are unwound from the tape roll of the tape supply part toward the sticking part, and the sheet-like member and the edging tape are automatically bonded together at the sticking part of the sticking part. At the same time, a configuration is known in which the edge decoration tape is cut at a predetermined timing at the cutting portion.

However, in the conventional tape affixing device described above, the affixing is started in a state where the affixing start position of the edge portion of the sheet-like member and the front end of the edging tape are aligned at the affixing portion, and the tape is supplied. After a series of edge decoration tapes unwound from the tape roll of the portion are cut to a predetermined length, the attachment end position of the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member and the rear end of the edge decoration tape are matched to complete the attachment. Was adopted. Therefore, in order to accurately attach the edging tape to a predetermined position on the edge of the sheet-shaped member, a mechanism for controlling the timing of feeding out the edging tape and the timing of cutting the edging tape is required. Therefore, there is a problem that the device configuration becomes complicated, it is difficult to change the sheet-shaped member having different specifications, and the productivity is inferior.

Specifically, the attachment portion 5 includes a regulation guide 50 arranged at a front position along the transport direction, and a vertical roller 51 and a horizontal roller 52 as attachment rollers that press against the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10. And so on.

The regulation guide 50 is provided with a pair of long plate-shaped members arranged with a vertical distance from each other, and the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 transported by the transport unit 3 passes through the distance between the regulation guides 50. It is arranged at the position where it is used. By providing the regulation guide 50 in this way, as will be described later, when the sheet-shaped member 10 is pressed by the vertical roller 51, the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 is deformed, or the edge decoration tape 11 is attached. It is possible to prevent the position from shifting.

The vertical rollers 51 are arranged in series at the outer position of the regulation guide 50 with a predetermined distance along the transport direction, and in this embodiment, a plurality of (three in this embodiment) vertical rollers 51. 51 ... Is provided. The vertical roller 51 is formed of a sponge-shaped roller member having a rotation axis in the vertical direction, and is pressed against the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10 transported by the transport unit 3 while being elastically deformed from the side to form a sheet. It is configured to be driven and rotated with the transportation of the member 10.

As the material of the vertical roller 51, a sponge-like member is preferable from the viewpoint of shape followability, but a material having an appropriate elastic force and frictional force such as rubber and an elastomer may be used. If the sponge-like member is a simple and inexpensive material, the sheet-like member 10 and the edging tape 11 can be pushed back with an appropriate reaction force and smoothly attached without damaging the sheet-like member 10.

The horizontal roller 52 is arranged in series with the vertical rollers 51, 51 ... Along the transport direction at a position behind the vertical roller 51, and in this embodiment, one horizontal roller 52 is provided. The horizontal roller 52 is formed of a pair of vertically arranged roller members having rotation axes in the left-right direction, and is pressed from the vertical direction against the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10 transported by the transport unit 3 to form a sheet. It is driven and rotated as the member 10 is conveyed.

The regulation guide 50, the vertical roller 51, and the horizontal roller 52 are mounted on a support plate 53 which is arranged so as to be able to change the position in the left-right direction with respect to the apparatus main body, and further, with respect to the support plate 53. The regulation guide 50, the vertical roller 51, and the horizontal roller 52 are fixed so that their relative positions can be changed. By arranging the regulation guide 50, the vertical roller 51, and the horizontal roller 52 so that their positions can be changed in this way, even when processing a sheet-shaped member 10 having different specifications such as length and width, for example, it is conveyed. It can be easily dealt with only by changing the relative position with respect to the part 3.

In the sticking portion 5, a series of edging tapes 11 supplied from the tape supply portion 4 form a sticking surface (back surface) between the vertical roller 51 at the most upstream position in the transport direction and the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10. By being sandwiched toward the outside and pressed laterally against the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10 by the elastically deformed vertical roller 51, the sheet-shaped member 10 is crimped while being bent in the vertical direction along the edge end surface of the sheet-shaped member 10. Further, the horizontal roller 52 located at the most downstream position in the transport direction is pressed against the upper and lower surfaces of the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 from above and below, so that the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 is attached so as to be wrapped.

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 5, and 7, the cutting portions 6 are arranged at the rear positions of the sticking portion 5 and at the left and right sides of the transport portion 3, respectively, and the sticking portion 5 is provided. It is configured as a cutting device for cutting the edging tape 11 attached to the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10 at a distance between the adjacent sheet-shaped members 10 and 10. The cutting portion 6 is provided with a cutter blade 60 having a rotation axis parallel to the transport direction of the sheet-shaped member 10 so as to be rotatable in a direction orthogonal to the transport direction, and is above the belt 30a of the transport conveyor 30. When the separation of the adjacent sheet-shaped members 10 and 10 is detected by the detection sensor 61 arranged at the position, the cutter blade 60 is vertically rotated by the servomotor as the drive motor 62, and the series of edging tapes 11 The edging tape 11 attached to the sheet-shaped member 10 is separated from the sheet.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the unloading unit 7 is arranged at the rearmost position of the device, and is provided with the transport conveyor 30 of the transport unit 3 and the unloading conveyor 70 that is continuous along the transport direction. The sheet-shaped member 10 discharged from the conveyor 30 is placed on the carry-out conveyor 70 and carried out of the machine.

Next, the sticking process of the sheet-shaped member 10 using the tape sticking device 1 of this embodiment will be described in detail below. In the following description, the sticking process to one edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 will be described, but the same applies to the sticking process to the other edge portion.

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, when a predetermined sheet-like member 10 is supplied from the sheet supply unit 2 to the transport unit 3, the sheet-like member 10 is sent into the gap between the belt 30a and the belt 31a and is fed to the belt 31a. It is pressed from above and horizontally conveyed while being sandwiched between the belt 30a and the belt 31a (FIG. 8A).

In the sticking portion 5, when the sheet-shaped member 10 conveyed by the conveying portion 3 passes through the regulation guide 50, tape is supplied between the vertical roller 51 at the most upstream position in the conveying direction and the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10. A series of edging tapes 11 supplied from the portion 4 are sandwiched with the sticking surface (back surface) facing outward, and the elastically deformed vertical roller 51 presses the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 from the side. The edge decorative tape 11 is pressed while being bent in the vertical direction along the edge end surface of the sheet-shaped member 10 (FIG. 8 (b)).

Then, the sheet-shaped member 10 is transported to the downstream side in the transport direction by the transport unit 3, so that the edge decoration tape 11 is pressed against the edge end surface of the sheet-shaped member 10 by the vertically adjacent vertical rollers 51. The edge decoration tape 11 is pressed against the upper and lower surfaces of the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 from above and below by the horizontal roller 52 located at the most downstream position in the transport direction, so that the edge decoration tape 11 is attached to the edge portion of the sheet-like member 10. It is worn (Fig. 9 (a)).

At this time, in the tape supply unit 4, the sheet-like member is attached to the edge of the sheet-like member 10 by the attachment unit 5 (vertical roller 51 and horizontal roller 52) while the edge decoration tape 11 is attached to the edge portion of the sheet-like member 10. When the 10 is conveyed, the rotary reel 40 is driven and rotated by being pulled by the edging tape 11 attached to the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10, and a series of edging tapes 11 are continuously formed from the tape roll 12. It is fed out and supplied to the sticking portion 5.

When the sheet-shaped member 10 transported by the transporting section 3 passes through the sticking portion 5, the edging tape is attached to the edge of one or more sheet-shaped members 10 by the vertical roller 51 or the horizontal roller 52. 11 is always pressed. In this way, the edging tape 11 is pressure-welded to the edges of the vertical roller 51 and the horizontal roller 52 sheet-shaped member 10, so that the tape supply unit 4 reliably holds a series of edging tapes 11 from the tape roll 12. It can be fed out and stably supplied to the sticking portion 5.

Next, in the cutting portion 6, the detection sensor 61 arranged above the belt 30a of the conveyor 30 detects the separation between the predetermined sheet-shaped member 10 and the sheet-shaped member 10 located one downstream position. Then, the cutter blade 60 is vertically rotated, and the edging tape 11 attached to the sheet-shaped member 10 at the downstream position is separated from the series of edging tapes 11 (FIG. 9A). Further, the predetermined sheet-shaped member 10 is further conveyed to the downstream side in the transport direction by the transport unit 3, and the predetermined sheet-shaped member 10 is separated from the sheet-shaped member 10 at the upstream position by the detection sensor 61. When is detected, the cutter blade 60 is similarly rotated vertically, and the edging tape 11 attached to the predetermined sheet-shaped member 10 is separated from the series of edging tapes 11 (FIG. 9B).

In this way, the sheet-shaped member 10 to which the edging tape 11 is attached is carried out of the machine from the transporting portion 3 via the carrying-out portion 7, and the surplus edging that protrudes in the front-rear direction of the sheet-shaped member 10 The tapes 11 and 10 are cut off to be processed into an intermediate product (see FIG. 3 (c)).

As described above, the tape affixing device 1 of the present embodiment is a tape affixing device 1 for affixing a band-shaped edging tape 11 to the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10, and a predetermined distance is provided along the transport direction. A tape that supplies a series of edging tapes 11 from a transport unit 3 that is held and continuously pressed and horizontally conveyed while pressing a plurality of sheet-shaped members 10, 10 ... And a tape roll 12 supported by a rotary reel 40. The edging tape 11 supplied from the tape supply unit 4 is pressed and attached to the edges of the supply unit 4 and the sheet-like member 10 conveyed by the transfer unit 3 with the vertical roller 51 and the horizontal roller 52. The attachment portion 5 is provided with a cutting portion 6 for cutting the edge decoration tape 11 attached to the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 at the attachment portion 5 at a distance between the adjacent sheet-shaped members 10 and 10. In the tape supply unit 4, the sheet-like member 10 is conveyed by the transfer unit 3 while the edge decoration tape 11 is attached to the edge of the sheet-like member 10 by the attachment unit 5. The rotary reel 40 is driven and rotated by being pulled by the edging tape 11 attached to the edge of 10, and a series of edging tapes 11 are continuously unwound from the tape roll 12, so that the specifications differ with a simple configuration. The sheet-shaped member 10 can be easily attached with good productivity.

That is, in the tape attaching device 1 of the present embodiment, the edge decoration tape 11 attached to the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 is pulled in conjunction with the conveying of the sheet-shaped member 10 by the conveying portion 3. A series of edging tapes 11 are automatically unwound from the tape roll 12 in succession, attached to the edge of the sheet-shaped member 10, and then the series of edging tapes 11 are cut. As compared with Can be pasted. Further, even for the sheet-shaped member 10 having different specifications, it can be easily dealt with only by adjusting the arrangement of the sticking roller (vertical roller 51 and the horizontal roller 52) and the cutting portion 6 of the sticking portion 5.

Further, the sticking portion 5 of the present embodiment is pressed against the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10 while being elastically deformed from the side as a sticking roller, and the edging tape 11 is applied along the edge end surface of the sheet-shaped member 10. Since the vertical roller 51 to be bent is provided, the vertical roller is used when the sheet-shaped member 10 is conveyed by the conveying portion 3 with the edging tape 11 sandwiched between the vertical roller 51 and the edge portion of the sheet-shaped member 10. The edge decoration tape 11 can be smoothly attached according to the shape of the edge of the sheet-like member 10 without damaging the sheet-like member 10 and the edge decoration tape 11 by the repulsive force of 51.

Further, in the cutting portion 6 of the present embodiment, a cutter blade 60 having a rotation axis parallel to the transport direction of the sheet-shaped member 10 is rotatably provided, and a cutter is provided every time the adjacent sheet-shaped members 10 and 10 are separated from each other. By vertically rotating the blade 60, the edging tape 11 attached to the sheet-shaped member 10 is separated from the series of edging tapes 11, so that the edging tapes 11 can be reliably cut with a simple configuration. It can be separated and can be attached with good productivity.

Further, since the tape supply unit 4 of this embodiment is provided with a gluing portion 43 for applying glue to the sticking surface of the edging tape 11 unwound from the tape roll 12, a series of edging portions are provided by the gluing portion 43. After the glue is applied to the tape 11, it can be continuously supplied to the sticking portion 5, and the sticking process can be performed with high productivity.

The configuration of the tape attaching device 1 is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various changes can be made as long as the object of the present invention is not deviated.

That is, in the tape sticking device 1 of the above-described embodiment, a configuration in which a plurality of colored paper pieces 10a, 10a ... Are stuck together using a continuous long paper member as the sheet-shaped member 10 will be described. However, the shape of the sheet-shaped member 10 is not limited to this, and for example, a rectangular paper member (see FIG. 3D, etc.) which is a mount for colored paper, the body of a heavy paper box, and the like. A long frame or the like constituting the lid can be used as the sheet-shaped member 10.

Further, in the tape sticking device 1 of the above-described embodiment, the seal supply section 4, the sticking section 5 and the cutting section 6 are respectively arranged at the left and right sides of the transport section 3, and both edges of the sheet-shaped member 10 are provided. However, the arrangement configuration of each part is not limited to this, and for example, the seal supply part 4, the sticking part 5 and the cutting part 6 are arranged only on one side of the conveying part 3. It may be provided, or it may be configured so that only one of the seal supply parts 4, the sticking part 5, and the cutting part 6 can be driven, and the sticking process is performed only on one edge of the sheet-shaped member 10. ..

Further, in the tape attaching device 1 of the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the pad type mechanism is adopted as the back tension applying mechanism 47 in the tape supply unit 4 has been described, but the configuration of the back tension applying mechanism 47 is limited to this. Instead, for example, a mechanism or the like that controls the rotational load by driving a servomotor or the like connected to the rotary shaft 40a based on the tension of the edge decoration tape 11 detected by the tension arm, the rotary sensor, or the like may be adopted.

Further, in the tape sticking device 1 of the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the vertical roller 51 and the horizontal roller 52 for pressing the edge portion of the sheet-like member 10 as the sticking roller is provided in the sticking portion 5 has been described. The configuration of the landing roller is not limited to this, and for example, instead of the horizontal roller, a roller surface that abuts on the edge of the sheet-like member 10 from above and below, such as a vertical roller having a slit recessed in the roller surface. A vertical roller having the above may be separately provided. Further, the sticking rollers (vertical roller 51 and horizontal roller 52) may be configured to be urged toward the transport portion 3 by an elastic member such as a spring (not shown).
