Abstract
Description

Claims (20)
- 流体を保持するための可撓性の容器であって、
第1の内部本体および第1の外面を有し、前記第1の内部本体は、第1の内面および該第1の内面から延びる内部微細構造を有し、前記第1の内部本体は、1%〜15%の間の空気微細構造表面積密度(AMSAD)を定め、該AMSADは、平面視で見たときの前記微細構造の総表面積を平面視で見たときの前記内部本体の総表面積で割ったものとして定義される第1のシートと、
第2の内面および第2の外面を有し、前記第1の内部本体と前記第2の内面との間に気密流体チャンバを少なくとも部分的に定めるように前記第1のシートに接合された第2のシートと
を備え、
前記第1の内面、前記第1の外面、前記第2の内面、および前記第2の外面は、滑らかであって凹部を有さない、容器。 - 前記AMSADは、5%〜9%の間である、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記AMSADは、7%である、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記内部微細構造は、アレイに配置され、該アレイは、内部微細構造の行および列を備え、前記第2のシートは、前記第2の内面から延びる微細構造を有さない、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 内部微細構造の隣接する列の間に定められる第1のギャップが、内部微細構造の隣接する行の間に定められる第2のギャップに等しい、請求項4に記載の容器。
- 前記アレイは、前記第1の内面の全表面積にわたって広がる、請求項5に記載の容器。
- 前記内部微細構造の各々は、半球状であり、半径を定めている、請求項6に記載の容器。
- 前記内部微細構造は、隣接する微細構造の中心間のピッチを定めている、請求項7に記載の容器。
- 前記半径と前記ピッチの比は、7:100〜30:100の間である、請求項8に記載の容器。
- 前記半径と前記ピッチの比は、10:100〜20:100の間である、請求項8に記載の容器。
- 前記半径と前記ピッチの比は、15:100である、請求項8に記載の容器。
- 前記微細構造は、前記第1の内面と一体であり、当該容器は、前記第1および第2のシートに各々が接合された第3、第4、第5、および第6のシートを備え、前記第1、第2、第3、第4、第5、および第6のシートが、前記気密流体チャンバを定めている、請求項1に記載の容器。
- 前記気密流体チャンバが流体で満たされている請求項1に記載の容器から流体を排出する方法であって、
前記気密流体チャンバをポンプに流体連通させるステップと、
前記ポンプを介して前記気密流体チャンバから前記流体を抽出するステップと
前記抽出により、前記内部微細構造の少なくとも一部分を前記第2の内面に直接接触させるステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記内部微細構造の少なくとも一部分を前記第2の内面に直接接触させる前記ステップは、複数の流路を生成し、該複数の流路の各々は、2つの隣接する内部微細構造と、前記第1の内面と、前記第2の内面との間に定められる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 流体容器を製造する方法であって、
第1の内部本体と平らで滑らかな第1の外面とを有し、前記第1の内部本体は、平らで滑らかな第1の内面と半球状微細構造とを有する第1のポリマーシートを製造するステップであって、ポリマーシートを製造する前記ステップは、
アレイに配置された複数の半球状凹部を定める金型へポリマー材料の塊を配置するステップ、
少なくとも前記ポリマー材料の塊が前記半球状凹部へと流れ込むまで前記金型内で前記ポリマー材料の塊を加熱するステップ、および、
前記ポリマー材料の塊を冷まし、該冷めたポリマー材料の塊を前記金型から取り出すステップ、
を含むステップと、
前記第1のポリマーシートの外周を加熱し、平らで滑らかな第2の内面および平らで滑らかな第2の外面を有する第2のポリマーシートに前記第1のポリマーシートの外周を接合するステップと
を含み、
前記第1のポリマーシートの外周を加熱する前記ステップにおいて、前記第1のポリマーシートの前記半球状微細構造は、前記第2のポリマーシートの前記第2の内面に面する、方法。 - 前記ポリマー材料は、溶融温度を有し、前記金型内で前記ポリマー材料の塊を加熱する前記ステップは、前記ポリマー材料の塊を最大温度まで加熱することを含み、前記最大温度は、前記溶融温度よりも低い、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記半球状凹部のアレイの隣接する列の間に定められる第1のギャップが、前記半球状凹部のアレイの隣接する行の間に定められる第2のギャップに等しい、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記半球状凹部の各々は、半径を定めており、隣接する半球状凹部の中心は、ピッチによって隔てられている、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ピッチに対する前記半径の比は、7:100〜30:100の間である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記ピッチに対する前記半径の比は、10:100〜20:100の間であり、前記第2のポリマーシートは、微細構造を有さない、請求項18に記載の方法。
