Abstract
【解決手段】本発明のステント11は、波線状パターンを有し且つ軸線方向LDに並んで配置される複数の波線状パターン体13と、隣り合う波線状パターン体13の間に配置され軸線周りに螺旋状に延びる複数のコイル状要素15とを備え、隣り合う波線状パターン体13の前記波線状パターンの対向する側の頂部17bの全てが相互にコイル状要素15によって接続されている高柔軟性ステントである。軸線方向LDに対して垂直な径方向RDに視たときに、波線状パターン体13の環方向CDは、径方向RDに対して傾斜しており、波線状パターン体13に対して軸線方向LDの一方側に位置する一方のコイル状要素15(15R)の巻き方向と、軸線方向LDの他方側に位置する他方のコイル状要素15(15L)の巻き方向とは、逆である。

したがって、ステント11の頂部17bの金属疲労の発生リスクを低減させるためには、ステント11の縮径及び拡張の際に発生する頂部17bのひずみを小さくすればよい。
このように、互いに巻き方向が逆であるコイル状要素15R,15L(15[A’]、15[B’])を導入することで、左右の捻り変形に対し、径方向RDへの変形量の差を軽減することができる。
図21に示すように、第2実施形態のステント11Aは、図2に示す第1実施形態のステント11と実質的に同じメッシュパターンを有する。図21において径方向RDに重なる△同士(図21に示す2点鎖線L20参照)又は□同士は、接合点を示す。
なお、図21に示す第2実施形態のステント11Aと図2に示す第1実施形態のステント11とは、軸線方向LDに鏡像関係である。×(1)、×(2)、×(3)及び×(4)は、後述の変形例の説明に用いる。
なお、追加ストラットの形状、設けられる位置、個数などは特に制限されない。1つのステント11に、第1追加ストラット31a及び第2追加ストラット31bの両方が設けられていてもよい。
図29に示す第3実施形態のステント11Bにおいては、軸線方向LDに、一方のコイル状要素15Rの長さと他方のコイル状要素15Lとは交互に配置している。全ての一方のコイル状要素15Rは同形であり、全ての他方のコイル状要素15Lは同形である。
溶接の方法としては、コイル状バネ29とステント11Dの先端部27とを溶接で溶かし込んで接着固定する方法と、ステント11Dの先端部27における、コイル状バネ29から突出している領域を溶かして、コイル状バネ29の移動を規制する方法と、が挙げられる。
銀ロウの浸潤の場合、コイル状バネ29をステント11Dとは異なる材料から形成し、例えば銀ロウなどをコイル状バネ29の上から染み込ませて、コイル状バネ29をステント11Dの先端部27に固定する。

- 波線状パターンを有し且つ軸線方向に並んで配置される複数の波線状パターン体と、隣り合う前記波線状パターン体の間に配置され軸線周りに螺旋状に延びる複数のコイル状要素とを備え、隣り合う前記波線状パターン体の前記波線状パターンの対向する側の頂部の全てが相互に前記コイル状要素によって接続されている高柔軟性ステントであって、
軸線方向に対して垂直な径方向に視たときに、前記波線状パターン体の環方向は、前記径方向に対して傾斜しており、
