Description
Claims (10)
- ユーザに薬物治療を施すためのプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイスであって、
プログラム可能コントローラと、薬物カートリッジと、注入針と、前記ユーザに対して計算された薬物のボーラス用量を計量するための機構と、前記ユーザに注入される前記薬物を供給するための、前記薬物の供給を受け入れるポートまたは隔壁を含む補充式リザーバとを備えるハウジングであって、該ハウジングの再使用可能部分に前記補充式リザーバを収容する、ハウジングを備え、前記プログラム可能コントローラは、前記注入針を通して前記ユーザに投与される前記薬物のボーラス用量を計算するとともに、前記ユーザに投与される投薬量を設定するように前記プログラム可能コントローラをプログラムするホストデバイスによってプログラムされることを特徴とするプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。 - プログラム可能なインスリンペンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ホストデバイスは、個人用糖尿病モニタ、血糖モニタ、ボーラス計算機、および着用式薬物注入デバイスのうち1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ホストデバイスは、試験片の結果、身体機能センサ信号、基底速度注入履歴、および食事情報から成るリストから選択された少なくとも1つの因子から前記ボーラス用量を計算することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記ホストデバイスと直接通信するための電気接点をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記プログラム可能コントローラは、前記ホストデバイスと直接通信しているときに前記ホストデバイスによってプログラムされることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記プログラム可能な薬物送達デバイスが前記ホストデバイスと接触しているときに充電される充電式電池をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記プログラム可能な送達デバイスおよび前記ホストデバイスは、前記ユーザの身体を越えて信号を送信するパーソナルエリアネットワークを介して通信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ユーザに対して計算された前記薬物のボーラス用量を計量するための前記機構は、前記注入針と前記薬物カートリッジとの間に設けられるマイクロポンプを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
- 前記ユーザに対して計算された前記薬物のボーラス用量を計量するための前記機構は、前記薬物カートリッジ内の流体を変位させる、前記薬物カートリッジの近位端に設けられるリニアアクチュエータを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプログラム可能な薬物送達デバイス。
