Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年2月27日に出願された、米国特許仮出願第62/126,064号の利益を主張し、その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
●95.0重量%の、PG64〜22(PG64.88〜24.7)と等級付けされる未希釈アスファルトバインダー、及び、
●5.0重量%のブレンド物であって、
○160℃で19時間にわたり、窒素を吹き付けながら、7.0重量%の単体硫黄と反応させた、59.0重量%の硫化大豆油を有するブレンド物。この結果、70.8%のオリゴマーを含む改質剤が得られた。
○硫化油とストレートの大豆油とのブレンド物は、約45.6%のオリゴマー含有量と、約3.95のPDIとを有していた。
●エマルションの重量の0.70%のカチオン性急結イミダゾリン乳化剤(Cargill社製、Anova 1620)
●エマルションの2.0重量%のラテックス(UltraPave)
●2.6のpHとするために十分な含有量のHCl。

●2.0〜2.2のpHとするために十分な含有量のHCl。

●エマルションの重量の0.5%のカチオン性急結イミダゾリン乳化剤と、
●2.0〜2.2のpHとするために十分な含有量のHCl。
●硫化油と回収されたコーン油とのブレンド物は、約46.31%のオリゴマー含有量と、約4.40のPDIとを有していた。
●160℃で19時間にわたり、窒素を吹き付けながら、7.0重量%の単体硫黄と反応させた、59.0重量%の硫化大豆油を有するブレンド物。この結果、70.8%のオリゴマーを含む改質剤が得られた。
●32.3重量%の大豆メチルエステル
●約50.1%のオリゴマー含有量
●約4.12のPDI
●25℃で、0.934g/mLの密度
●40℃で、90.4mm2/秒(90.4cSt)の粘度
●25℃で、150mm2/秒(150cSt)の粘度。
Claims (22)
- アスファルト再生用途に用いるためのエマルションであって、
(a)重合油を含む油相であって、前記重合油が、
i.約2〜約80重量%のオリゴマー含有量を有するポリマー分布と、
ii.約1.0〜約5.0の範囲の多分散指数と、
iii.約8重量%未満の硫黄含有量とを有する重合油である油相、及び
(b)界面活性剤を含む水相を含むエマルション。 - 前記油相が、生物学的に再生可能な油、又は予め改質された若しくは官能化された油を更に含む、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記水相が、ポリマー及び/又は増粘剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、植物、動物、又は藻類から分離された出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記出発油原料が、パーム油、ひまわり油、コーン油、大豆油、キャノーラ油、菜種油、亜麻仁油、桐油、ひまし油、トール油、綿実油、ピーナッツ油、ベニバナ油、コーン蒸留廃液油、それらを組み合わせたもの、それらの留出物、それらの誘導体、及びそれらの粗ストリームからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、前記出発油原料のうちの1種類以上のアルキルエステルである、請求項4又は5に記載のエマルション。
- 前記出発油原料が、動物脂、レシチン(リン脂質)、それらを組み合わせたもの、それらの留出物、それらの誘導体、及びそれらの粗ストリームからなる群から選択される、請求項4に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、遊離脂肪酸及びその留出物ストリームの出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、メチルエステル、エチルエステル、プロピルエステル、ブチルエステル、及びそれらを組み合わせたものからなる群から選択される出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、ジオールエステル、トリオールエステル、それらの混合物、及びそれらの誘導体ストリームから選択される出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、予め改質された出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、トリアシルグリセリド、ジアシルグリセリド、モノアシルグリセリド、及びそれらを組み合わせたものからなる群から選択される出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、回収されたコーン油を含む出発油原料に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記重合油が、部分的に水素添加された油を含む出発油に由来する、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記油相が、アスファルトバインダーを更に含む、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 前記油相が、約0.1〜約100重量%の重合油を含む、請求項15に記載のエマルション。
- 前記油相が、約15〜85重量%の前記エマルションを含む、請求項1に記載のエマルション。
- 請求項1に記載のエマルションを、既存の舗装路表面に適用することを含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載のエマルションを、RAS又はRAPを処理するために適用することと、前記処理されたRAS又はRAPをバージンアスファルトと更に混合し、それにより再生アスファルトのブレンド物を得ることとを含む方法。
- 処理されたRAS又はRAPを得るために、再利用アスファルトを含むコールドパッチ材、高性能のコールドパッチ、又はコールドミックスの用途の一部として請求項1に記載のエマルションを用いること。
- 機械練アスファルト舗装材料用の低温現場再利用に、請求項1に記載のエマルションを使用すること。
- 機械練アスファルト舗装材料の高温現場再利用に、請求項1に記載のエマルションを使用すること。
