Abstract

Claims (8)
- 軟質の折り畳み可能な材料から形成される眼内レンズ(IOL)であって、
光学素子の光強度に対応するベース湾曲を伴う光学表面を有する光学素子であって、前記光学表面の外境界において縁部厚さを有する、光学素子と、
前記光学素子を囲繞する円として形成される周辺リムであって、前記周辺リムは、最大厚さを有し、前記周辺リムは、前記IOLの前および後表面間に延在し、それぞれの角部において各表面に交差する、連続的に湾曲する外縁部を有し、前記連続的に湾曲する外縁部は一定の半径を有すると共に前記光学素子の光学軸に平行ないかなる接線を含まない、周辺リムと、
前記周辺リムと前記光学素子との間の前記光学素子の前記光学表面の外側の低減された厚さの領域であって、前記周辺リムおよび前記光学素子と一体的に形成され、前記周辺リムの最大厚さおよび前記光学素子の縁部厚さに対して、低減された厚さを有する、低減された厚さの領域と、を備える、眼内レンズ(IOL)。 - 前記IOLの前表面は、前記低減された厚さの領域を形成するように陥凹される、請求項1に記載のIOL。
- 前記IOLの前記前表面および前記IOLの後表面の両方は、前記低減された厚さの領域を形成するように陥凹される、請求項2に記載のIOL。
- 前記光学素子は、単焦点屈折光学素子である、請求項1に記載のIOL。
- 前記光学素子は、円環、非球面、または両方である、請求項4に記載のIOL。
- 少なくとも前記外縁部、前記IOLの前表面、および前記IOLの後表面のうち、入射光を拡散するようにテクスチャ化される、請求項1に記載のIOL。
- 前記外縁部の湾曲の半径は、0.8mmである、請求項1に記載のIOL。
- 前記外縁部の湾曲の半径は、1.19mmである、請求項1に記載のIOL。
