Description

The present invention relates to a low-cost absorbent auxiliary pad that can appropriately prevent leakage of loose stool and a method of using the same.

In general, there are an adult paper diaper such as a tape stopper type and a pants type, and these paper diapers are appropriately selected and used according to the necessity of care in excretion of the user. These absorbent articles are composed of a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorber disposed between the two sheets. By adopting such a configuration, body fluid such as urine passes through the top sheet of the absorbent article and is absorbed by the absorbent body, and does not leak to the outside by the back sheet.

By the way, tape-type and pants-type paper diapers (hereinafter referred to as tape-type diapers) may be used alone or in combination with a urine picking pad on the inside. In most cases, it is used in combination with a urine absorbing pad, and the urine absorbing pad is stacked on the top sheet. This is because the cost per sheet of diaper is high. After excrement is absorbed and held by a urine collection pad that is cheaper than tape-type or pants-type diapers, only the urine collection pad is replaced. This is because, even after excretion, it is not necessary to replace the costly tape-type or pants-type disposable diapers, and the absorbent article can be used economically at a low cost.

Here, the urine removing pad has various sizes and shapes according to the urine volume, and can reliably absorb the excreted urine and prevent leakage. However, for soft stool, watery stool and diarrheal stool (hereinafter referred to as soft stool), the absorbability is insufficient, and the loose stool may leak to the outside of disposable diapers such as a urine collection pad and a taped type. Therefore, a urine collection pad intended to prevent leakage of loose stool has been studied.

As a urine absorption pad for the purpose of preventing leakage of loose stool or the like, for example, in Patent Document 1, in a urine absorption pad including a top sheet, a back sheet, an absorber, and a three-dimensional gather, at least A cup portion that is recessed in a cup shape as viewed from the clothing side surface is provided in a portion extending laterally from the protruding portion of the three-dimensional gather within a range behind the front end of the crotch portion. A urine absorbing pad is disclosed.

However, even in the urine collection pad described in Patent Document 1, when a large amount of loose stool is excreted, the loose stool leaks from a place where the urine collection pad easily leaks to a paper diaper such as a tape-fixed type. There was a possibility that loose stools etc. would leak into clothes and bedding from disposable diapers. In addition, the urine absorption pad is used as an auxiliary to a disposable diaper such as a tape-fixed type. As a result, there was a problem that the user was not fully satisfied with the cost. Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide a low-cost absorbent article that can appropriately prevent leakage of loose stool or the like.

The inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive research in view of the above problems.
[Absorber]
The absorber 20 used in the present invention preferably uses any of the following aspects.

(First aspect of absorber)
Although the base material of the absorbent body 20 used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it can absorb soft stool or the like, as a first aspect, the absorbent body 20 preferably contains at least absorbent fibers. The absorbent fiber is not particularly limited as long as it is generally used for absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins, paper diapers, and urine pads, such as fluff pulp, cotton, rayon, acetate, tissue, absorbent paper, etc. Among these, it is preferable to use fluff pulp from the viewpoints of appropriate liquid permeability and absorbability. Examples of such fluff pulp include wood pulp, synthetic fiber, polymer fiber, non-wood pulp and the like that have been fibrillated into cotton. The absorbent fiber preferably has a basis weight of 100 g / m 2 or more and 800 g / m 2 or less so as not to impair the absorption performance and the touch. In addition, in the said aspect, although the absorber 20 may contain a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) in addition to an absorptive fiber, it is comprised only by absorptive fibers, such as a fluff pulp, without mixing SAP. This is preferable because the absorbent body 20 becomes soft, so that the gap between the body and the absorbent article can be filled and leakage of soft stool can be more effectively prevented.

The SAP is not particularly limited as long as it absorbs body fluids and can prevent backflow. Sodium polyacrylate copolymer, polyaspartate copolymer, (starch-acrylic acid) graft copolymer A polymer, (acrylic acid-vinyl alcohol) copolymer, (isobutylene-maleic anhydride) copolymer, and a saponified product thereof can be used. Among these, a sodium polyacrylate copolymer is preferable from the viewpoint of the amount of absorption per weight. When SAP is contained in the absorbent body 20, the SAP amount of the absorbent body 20 is preferably set to a basis weight of 500 g / m 2 or less so as not to impair the absorption performance and the touch. Moreover, it is preferable that the weight of SAP with respect to the weight of the absorber 20 is 50 mass% or less from a viewpoint of touch, an absorption speed, and an absorption amount. In the absorbent body 20, when SAP is mixed in addition to the absorbent fiber, the absorbent fiber and SAP may be formed by mixing SAP particles in the absorbent fiber.

(Second embodiment of absorber)
Further, as a second aspect of the absorbent body 20 different from the first aspect, the absorbent body 20 is one or more hydrophilic bulky nonwoven fabrics, and the hydrophilic bulky nonwoven fabrics are laminated or in FIG. As shown, it is preferably folded in a bellows shape.

As the material for the hydrophilic bulky nonwoven fabric, it is possible to use synthetic fibers such as polypropylene and polyethylene that have been subjected to hydrophilic treatment, and regenerated fibers such as rayon. The processing methods for the hydrophilic bulky nonwoven fabric include the spunbond method, the spunlace method, Known processing methods such as an airlaid method and a melt blow method can be used. Among the hydrophilic bulky nonwoven fabrics produced by these materials and processing methods, as the hydrophilic bulky nonwoven fabric used for the absorbent auxiliary pad 1 of the present invention, from the viewpoint of moderate liquid permeability and absorbability, a pulp-containing airlaid nonwoven fabric, It is preferable to use a polypropylene melt blown nonwoven fabric or a rayon spunlace nonwoven fabric in which wood pulp is entangled without using a binder.

In addition, from the viewpoint of absorbability of the absorbent body 20, the weight of the pulp contained in the above-described pulp-containing airlaid nonwoven fabric is preferably 80% or more with respect to the weight of the absorbent body 20, and the above binder is used. The weight of the wood pulp contained in the polypropylene melt blown nonwoven fabric entangled with the wood pulp is preferably 60% or more and 80% or less with respect to the weight of the absorbent body 20.

[Surface material]
The surface material 30 allows body fluid to pass quickly toward the absorbent body 20 and covers at least the side surface in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 20. Since the surface material 30 is a sheet that comes into contact with the skin, a base material that does not irritate the skin with a soft touch, for example, a thermal bond nonwoven fabric, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, a composite in which thermal bonds / spunbonds are laminated. It is formed from materials such as nonwoven fabrics, open films such as open polyethylene films, foamed films such as polyethylene foam and urethane foam, or composite sheets obtained by laminating these. The surface material 30 may be a single layer or a plurality of layers, and a large number of through holes may be formed to impart dry touch properties. In addition, as the surface material 30 used for this invention, it is preferable that they are a hydrophilic thermal bond nonwoven fabric or a hydrophilic spun bond nonwoven fabric. As the material for the nonwoven fabric, synthetic fibers such as polypropylene and polyethylene, regenerated fibers such as rayon, and natural fibers such as cotton can be used.

As shown in FIG. 1, the surface material 30 has a linear first joint portion 31 in the longitudinal direction, and the surface material 30 is joined by the joint portion in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 20. Can cover the sides. The joining of the surface material 30 can be performed by a known method such as heat sealing, ultrasonic sealing, or hot melt. Further, when the absorbent body 20 is the first aspect described above and the absorbent fiber is fluff pulp, the fluff pulp is prevented from leaking from both longitudinal ends of the absorbent auxiliary pad 1. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, it is preferable that both end portions in the longitudinal direction of the surface material 30 are closed by the second joint portions 32, and the surface material 30 covers the entire absorber 20.

Furthermore, the basis weight of the surface material 30 is preferably 15 g / m 2 or more and 200 g / m 2 or less from the viewpoint of workability and strength. In order to reduce irritation to the skin, a lotion, an antioxidant, an anti-inflammatory component, a pH adjuster, an antibacterial agent, a moisturizer, and the like may be applied to the surface material 30.

(Locking means)
Moreover, the surface material 30 may have the latching means which latches the both ends of the longitudinal direction of the absorptive auxiliary pad 1 in at least one place. The absorbent auxiliary pad 1 can be arranged in an O-shape on the absorbent article by locking the both ends in the longitudinal direction with the locking means. By disposing the absorbent auxiliary pad 1 in an O-shape, it is possible to prevent loose stool or the like from leaking forward in the lateral position. Note that a hook member, an adhesive, or the like can be used as the locking means.

(Fixing means)
Moreover, the surface material 30 may have a fixing means for fixing the absorbent auxiliary pad 1 to the surface of the absorbent article in at least one place. As the fixing means, a hook member, an adhesive or the like can be used. Moreover, you may have the peeling sheet for protecting a fixing means, and this peeling sheet may be united with the packaging sheet of the absorptive auxiliary pad 1. FIG.

(Evaluation of leakage prevention for loose stools)
The following evaluation was performed by 20 monitors. Each absorbent auxiliary pad is substantially U-shaped so as to surround the urination area and defecation area located at the crotch part of the tape-type disposable diaper from the front part to the rear part and along the inside of the three-dimensional gather of the absorbent article. For the leakage of soft stool and the like when worn, either “there is a leakage of soft stool” or “there is no leakage of soft stool” was selected, and the evaluation result was calculated according to the following criteria.
◎: When there is no leakage of soft stool 16 to 20 people ○: When there is no leakage of soft stool 11 to 15 people Δ: “No leakage of soft stool” 6 When the number of people is 10 or less: ×: When there is no leakage of soft stool, etc., 0 or more and 5 or less

Figure 2018121858

From Examples 1 to 5, it can be seen that according to the present invention, an absorbent auxiliary pad capable of preventing leakage of loose stool or the like can be obtained. On the other hand, it can be seen that the absorbent auxiliary pad of Comparative Example 1 has a short length in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent auxiliary pad and therefore cannot sufficiently prevent leakage of loose stool or the like. Further, in the absorbent auxiliary pad of Comparative Example 2, the absorbent auxiliary pad extends to the outside of the three-dimensional gathers of the tape-type paper diaper because the outer periphery of the cross section in the short direction of the absorbent auxiliary pad is large and the cross-sectional area is large. It can be seen that leaks such as loose stools cannot be sufficiently prevented. Furthermore, in the absorptive auxiliary pad of the comparative example 3, since the outer periphery of the cross section of a transversal direction is small, it turns out that the fitting property of an absorptive auxiliary pad falls and it cannot fully prevent leaks, such as a loose stool.
