Abstract

Description
眼球に使用するために構成されている超音波プローブが、本明細書において提供される。眼球用超音波プローブは、眼球外用超音波プローブまたは眼球内用超音波プローブであり得、いずれの場合にも、ハウジングおよびハウジング内に含有されるトランスデューサ素子を含む。
本発明のデバイスおよびシステムは、当業者に理解されているように、さまざまな治療および診断適用に使用することができる。ある特定の実施形態において、デバイスおよび方法は、治療および/または診断適用に望ましい2重の機能性を提供する。
Claims (11)
- ハウジングおよび前記ハウジング内に含有されるトランスデューサ素子を含む眼球用超音波プローブであって、トランスデューサ素子が、約10MHz未満の周波数および約0.5のメカニカルインデックス(MI)を有する超音波エネルギーをもたらすように構成されている、眼球用超音波プローブ。
- 超音波エネルギーが、約5MHz未満の周波数を有する、請求項1に記載の眼球用超音波プローブ。
- 眼球外用プローブである、請求項1に記載の眼球用超音波プローブ。
- 眼球内用プローブである、請求項1に記載の眼球用超音波プローブ。
- 自己保持型である、請求項1に記載の眼球用超音波プローブ。
- 固定手段をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の眼球用超音波プローブ。
- ハウジングが、ディスク、半円、三日月、くさびまたは輪の形である、請求項1に記載の眼球用超音波プローブ。
