Description
Claims (7)
- デュアルポートスイッチに含まれている第1ポート及び第2ポートのリンク速度を設定するための方法において、
前記第1ポート及び前記第2ポートそれぞれからリンク速度設定完了信号を受信する段階;
前記リンク速度設定完了信号が受信されると、前記第1ポートのリンク速度及び前記第2ポートのリンク速度を確認する段階;
前記確認済み第1ポートのリンク速度と前記第2ポートのリンク速度を比較する段階;及び
前記第1ポートのリンク速度が前記第2ポートのリンク速度より速いと、前記第1ポートの限界リンク速度を変更して、前記第1ポートのリンク速度を前記第2ポートのリンク速度と同一に制御する段階を含む、
デュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。 - 前記第1ポートのリンク速度が前記第2ポートのリンク速度より速いと、前記第1ポートのリンク速度を前記第2ポートのリンク速度と同一に制御する段階は、
前記第1ポートのリンクを遮断する段階;
前記第1ポートの限界リンク速度を前記第2ポートのリンク速度と同一に設定する段階;及び
前記第1ポートのリンク遮断を解除する段階を含む、請求項1に記載のデュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。 - 前記第1ポートのリンク速度は、
前記第1ポート及び前記第1ポートと連結された隣接ポートの間のデータ通信を通じて設定されて、
前記第2ポートのリンク速度は、
前記第2ポート及び前記第2ポートと連結された隣接ポートの間のデータ通信を通じて設定される、請求項1または請求項2に記載のデュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。 - 前記第1ポートのリンク速度は、
前記第1ポートの限界リンク速度及び前記第1ポートと連結された隣接ポートの限界リンク速度のうち、速度がさらに遅い限界リンク速度に設定されて、
前記第2ポートのリンク速度は、
前記第2ポートの限界リンク速度及び前記第2ポートと連結された隣接ポートの限界リンク速度のうち、速度がさらに遅い限界リンク速度に設定される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のデュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。 - 前記第1ポート及び前記第2ポートそれぞれからリンク速度設定完了信号を受信する段階は、
前記第1ポートのリンク速度及び前記第2ポートのリンク速度が設定されると、前記第1ポート及び前記第2ポートそれぞれから前記リンク速度設定完了信号を受信する段階を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のデュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。 - 前記リンク速度設定完了信号が受信されると、前記第1ポートのリンク速度及び前記第2ポートのリンク速度を確認する段階は、
前記第1ポート及び前記第2ポートから前記第1ポートの状態情報及び前記第2ポートの状態情報を受信する段階;及び
前記受信された第1ポートの状態情報及び第2ポートの状態情報を参照して、前記第1ポートのリンク速度及び前記第2ポートのリンク速度を確認する段階を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のデュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。 - 前記デュアルポートスイッチは、
カットスルーパケットスイッチング(cut−through packet switching)方式で動作する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のデュアルポートスイッチのリンク速度設定方法。
