Abstract
【解決手段】車両の電源装置は、高圧バッテリと、高圧バッテリより低電圧の低圧バッテリと、外部電源に接続するインレットと、を備える。高圧バッテリ及び低圧バッテリの少なくとも何れかである充電対象の充電を制御する充電制御手段と、低圧バッテリの電圧を検出するバッテリ電圧センサと、を備える。充電制御手段は、給電コネクタをインレットに接続し、外部電源から充電対象へ電力を供給している間に、低圧バッテリ電圧値VLが充電停止閾値Vabort以下になった場合には、外部電源から充電対象への電力の供給を停止する。

Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る電源装置1を備える電動車両V(以下、単に「車両V」という)と、その充電システムSの構成を示す図である。充電システムSは、車両Vと、外部充電器Cと、を組み合わせて構成される。
図2は、給電コネクタ83及びインレット51の断面図である。図2には、互いに接続された状態における給電コネクタ83及びインレット51の一部の、給電コネクタ83の差込方向831及び引抜方向832と平行な面に沿った断面図を示す。
コネクタロック機構53は、ロックピン532と、ロックモータ533と、ロックモータ533で発生した回転力によってロックピン532を進退させる動力伝達機構534と、ロックピン532の位置を検出するピン位置センサ539と、これらを収容する箱状のケース531と、を備える。
(1)電源装置1は、外部電源80の給電コネクタ83をインレット51に接続し、高圧バッテリ2及び低圧バッテリ3の少なくとも何れかを充電対象として電力を供給している間に、低圧バッテリ電圧値VLが充電停止閾値Vabort以下になった場合には、外部電源80から充電対象への電力の供給を停止する。これにより、低圧バッテリ3に何らかの不具合が生じ、外部電源80を用いた外部充電中にその電圧値VLが低下した場合には、電圧値VLが充電停止閾値Vabortよりも大きく低下してしまう前に充電対象への外部充電を停止することができる。したがって電源装置1によれば、低圧バッテリ3やその周辺の装置に何らかの不具合が生じ、その電圧値VLが低下した場合であっても、低圧バッテリ3に少なくとも充電停止閾値Vabort程度の電圧を確保した状態で外部充電を停止できるので、外部充電の停止後、この低圧バッテリ3の電力を用いて充電停止処理(図5のS34〜S35の処理)を適切に行うことができる。

Claims (6)
- 第1蓄電器と、当該第1蓄電器より低電圧の第2蓄電器と、インレットと、を備え、外部電力供給源のコネクタを前記インレットに接続して、当該外部電力供給源から前記第1蓄電器及び前記第2蓄電器の少なくとも何れかである充電対象に電力を供給可能な車両の電源装置であって、
前記充電対象の充電を制御する充電制御手段と、
前記第2蓄電器の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、を備え、
前記充電制御手段は、前記コネクタを前記インレットに接続し前記外部電力供給源から前記充電対象へ電力を供給している間に前記第2蓄電器の電圧値が所定の充電停止閾値以下になった場合には、前記外部電力供給源から前記充電対象への電力の供給を停止することを特徴とする車両の電源装置。 - 前記コネクタが前記インレットに接続された状態で当該コネクタの引抜方向への移動を規制するロック状態と、前記移動を規制していないアンロック状態とを、電磁アクチュエータを駆動することによって切換可能なロック機構をさらに備え、
前記充電制御手段は、前記第2蓄電器の電力を用いて前記電磁アクチュエータを駆動し、前記アンロック状態から前記ロック状態に切り換えるロック処理又は前記ロック状態から前記アンロック状態に切り換えるロック解除処理を実行することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両の電源装置。 - 前記充電制御手段は、前記第2蓄電器の電圧値が前記充電停止閾値以下になった場合には、前記外部電力供給源から前記充電対象への電力の供給を停止した後、前記ロック解除処理を実行することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両の電源装置。
- 入力電力を変換し前記第2蓄電器に供給する電力変換器と、
前記電力変換器の異常を検出する異常検出手段と、を備え、
前記充電制御手段は、前記外部電力供給源から前記充電対象へ電力を供給している間に前記電力変換器の異常が検出された場合であっても、前記第2蓄電器の電圧値が前記充電停止閾値より大きい間は前記外部電力供給源から前記充電対象への電力の供給を継続することを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れかに記載の車両の電源装置。 - 前記外部電力供給源と前記第1蓄電器とを接続する第1電力線と、
前記第1電力線と前記第2蓄電器とを接続する第2電力線と、を備え、
前記電力変換器は前記第2電力線に設けられることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両の電源装置。 - 前記第2蓄電器には、前記電力変換器を介して前記第1蓄電器の電力が供給されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両の電源装置。
